I find that some manga has the tendency to portray women as objects... It's fair to say that Seven Deadly Sins is one of those mangas. Unlike Fairytale which plays on this trope for humour, Seven Deadly Sins just embraces it and it made me dislike parts of the story. The main character Meliodas is constantly touching Elizabeth and dressing her in provocative ways. As Meliodas is in the body of a young boy it didn't sit right with me as I didn't like the message it was portraying.

Feminism aside... the story was interesting and I was curious about the Seven Deadly Sins and the volumes cliffhanger did make me want to read on. There were some interesting side stories and I loved the pig companions. Hawk and his Mum were probably my favourite things about this manga as they were just fun and unexpected.

I think most manga fans will love this as its interesting and fun. I just wish it was a bit less letchy.
