Good Characters Die Off

Spoilers maybe🏳
Picked up the first one for free and I've just bought the third book. Says a lot for this storyline. Action galore. Vance and his family get finally meet up. Both sides bring along a friend or two. Vance decides the only place to get help and be safe is a prepper, a man he served with named Corrigan because not only could he might help them out of the QZ he also lives in a underground bunker. 3 others are going to be coming to the area of the bunker, one is a 10 yr old boy, who I think is Corrigan's soon. 🏳Did I mention Corrigan's dead?
Major Dr. Barrington might be of help?
Someone gave this book 1 star bcuz a military word didn't have a d at the end of the word. Shape versus shaped. Some reviews have mentioned typos? I haven't ran into one typo. I'd have known because typos break my train of thought. 🏳The only thing that was broke was Bar's arm. 📖

Not even close to as good as book 1

Just a bunch of sloppy combat scenes. Without the effort put into human interaction. It's "shaped charges," btw, not the twice-printed error "shape charges." I intend to read the next book in the series, but I hope it's a fun ride like the first, not filler like this second short book.

another fine book

This one takes up where book 2 left off (yeah!!!!). I'm really liking the vamp rotters. The crew is still trying to dodge the Doc, but that's all you'll get from me. Great book with likable characters and a good plot. Off to book 3.

This is the second book in this series with unique creatures formed from an infection. Action, suspense, and adventure throughout this story. Some characters are very likeable and you find yourself rotting for them to get to safety and be successful in their journey to survive.
