Riding bikes isn’t just an all boys club anymore ~Unknown
Beauty, brains, and female biker all describe Billi Madison. Growing up with a father who was a member of a motorcycle club led to cars and motorcycles being in her blood since birth. A sudden medical situation caused Billi to takeover operating her father’s well respected mechanic shop. Billi lived by the MC code and was now the President of the new Hampton Roads chapter of the Lady Guardians. She made it her mission to uphold their values on giving back to the community and that female motorcycle clubs are not about drama. Despite every brick thrown her way, will Billi Madison prove living by the MC code is more than an act but a way of life?
A tragic loss has ER doctor, Tristan Ramsey struggling to overcome his hatred towards motorcycle clubs and motorcycles period. He finds it difficult with the reminder of that deadly night every time he sees a motorcycle accident victim come through his ER doors. He saw their way of life as nothing but parting and riding fast which led to an untimely death. He never wanted to understand the loyalty or comradery gained by being a member of a motorcycle club until the chance encounter with Billi Madison. Her feisty attitude and dedication as president to her club has him questioning his opinions. Does Tristan attempt to understand Billi and her cause or is it just too risky?
There was no fire, passion or chemistry between the hero and heroine and they didn't spend enough time together to fall in love. The use of the words: "baby girl", "daddy" and the phrase: "If you keep that up it's going to be over before we even begin" or some variation of this phrase should be banned in Romance. This story needed a set of fresh eyes, the heroes ex-girlfriend's name changed from Rachel to Melissa and there were lots of typos.
The tale of Isis and Tristan was one filled with misunderstand and poor communication between them. Despite the issues they still were very attracted to each other. Tristan had issues with the world of MCs and did not have a good opinion of them. Isis loved being a Lady Guardian and the way of life that comes from being part of an MC. They obstacles they face are difficult but not insurmountable because they need trash other.
After an accident Tristan must face his feelings about MCs and Isis. You need to buy the book to find out what is the end result. Despite the typos it is still a solid story with a well developed plot and flows well. This is my first book by Y.M. Sheree but not my last.
I enjoyed the the tension between the club and the H/h. It was interesting finding out how the Lady Guardians contribute to people in community and different organizations. Billi (Isis) and Tristan love this couple. Tristan was conflicted abut the MC's lifestyle. His brother was in a MC and he died in a fatal crash. He thought all MC's did was ride around drunk and disorderly...He found that all chapters weren't like that. Billi is different from anyone Tristan has met. I hope there is more to these stories ..I need more!😊
Tristan is surprised to see the mechanic recommended to him by his friend is a woman. Billi doesn't take kindly to Tristan's assumption that the person to fix his jeep is a man. Billi learns Tristan doesn't think much of bikers because of his brother. Tristan can't help his immediate attraction to Billi and she isn't immune to his charm either. Luckily, they are willing to learn about each other.
Is there a doctor in the house? Yes, yes there is!
Isis and the doc don't get off to a good start, but with his determination and her willingness they finally connect. A little misunderstanding and an almost tragic accident leads them back on the right track. Looking forward to these Lady Guardian stories continuing in the near future.
Loved the book. If it wasn’t for having to go to work i wouldn’t have put it down. Was very intriguing and didn’t want to stop reading til I was finished. Great work Y.M. sheree

"Lady Guardians: Hampton Roads Isis" By Y. M. Sheree
My Thoughts.....
This was a interesting read in how this two Billi and Tristan met with him later finding out that she was a mechanic and was a president of the MC Lady Guardians: New Hampton Roads Isis. Even though Tristan was interested he was a little reserved due to the fact of how his brother died. What will happen when these two finally talk and decide to start all over again from there first meeting? I did liked how Tristan was able to open up with Billi and finally they were able to possibly work out their differences especially he found out what his brother was involved in. After helping get Billi's 'CottonCandy' back together in working order again after her accident and he vows never to be expected to ride a MC! What will come next for these two? Well, this is where I say you will have to pick up 'Lady Guardians: Hampton Roads Isis' to find out.
This storyline was ok. It was like I had read some of it before. It was similar to another story in this series, where the love interest didn’t like motorcycles and had lost a loved one to an accident. I am in no way saying it was the same story, but it felt familiar. This story may have been written first because I didn’t read them in order of release date.
Billi was a female mechanic who had a masculine sounding name and people often expected to deal with a man, just like in the other book. Those particular things bothered me, but I am happy to say the rest of the book was more original. The love interest, Tristan was an ER doctor who was passionate about what he did. He also had beef with the MC his deceased brother was a member of.
I did appreciate the chemistry between the main characters. The first time they had sex was smoking hot, taking place on Billi’s bike. Straight sexy. I also liked the fact that they broke up and got back together for their HEA. It was something that needed to happen for them to see how much they meant to one another.
Even though I enjoyed this whole story there were some mistakes other than that the story kept my instrest. The fact that Tristan losted his brother who died from a motorcycle accident which caused Tristan to have a hatred from there,he ended up falling in love with Billi "Isis" president of her chapter of the Lady Guardians in Hampton Roads. I felt it was so wrong how the women who were at the Lady X party and at Denny's and the prospects that they had were so disrespectful towards Isis and the Lady Guardians. I love how everyone were so worried about Billi when she had her motorcycle accident, that Billi and Tristan got over their argument they had weeks before her accident.
I enjoyed this book and the sneak peak into the biker world. I loved the realness of Isis' and Tristan's relationship. I'm not a big fan of instalove, so seeing a relationship play out was refreshing. Seeing women kick ass in male dominated worlds like mechanics, racing and biking was awesome. I also enjoyed the brief trip down memory lane with some of the places mentioned in the book. I'm a DMV (DC-MD-VA) chick in my heart. I have been a fan of Y.M. Sheree for a few years now and love her work. I can't wait to see what's next!
This was my first time reading this author and it was a nice read. While the story is close to the theme of the other Lady Guardians books, there was one major plot flaw— this story stated that the Lady Guardians were a 1% Club, while this is the total opposite of how they were described in the other four books in the series. Additionally there were a number of editorial errors that should have been caught during the proofing process. Sweet story though.
Billie and Tristan seem to be a good couple, but I didn't feel the connection and passion between them. I have enjoyed reading this series, but this story is okay but lacking chemistry. I was told about the characters instead of feeling them. The premise was a good idea, but something was missing. This story had a little redundancy of a few details, and editing would have helped. I'm still willing to read book two by this author.
This was a sweet easy read. I was not too overly impressed with the story line but Dr. Tristan Ramsey and Billi Madison were cute together. Even though Dr. Ramsey had a thing about MCs his attraction for the female auto-mechanic was something that threw him off his game. He later recovered in getting Billi aka Isis' attention. Their attraction to each other and their first time together was hawt hawt.
I'm just glad that Billi had a chance to show Tristian the difference between the bike club, that his brother belong to and the club that she runs and operates. I'm glad Tristan had an open mind about the lifestyle especially when Billi got hurt, and he could have lost her.
Okayyy! A new twist on the Lady Guardians throwing a hater of bike riders in the pathway of a feisty president of the LG’s club! Not only is she a rider, but she’s a darn good mechanic! The doctor is drawn to her like a moth to a flame.
I enjoyed reading this book! I couldn't put my kindle down! This book was so hot and awesome! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between the couple!
