Maxwell: The Alpha The King
Maxwell wasn’t only an Alpha in Louisiana. The other three animals inside of him were Alphas as well and was ready to get back to their lives, by any means necessary.
After Maxwell ate the heart of Ma’vere, he had to share his mind and body with three other shifter spirits. Him and Xoey was supposed to handle the situation by themselves but got side track when Nyles delivered Nylah to Deniro, the leader of the Geneva Covenant. They rescued her and Maxi realize that the safest place for Nylah was at his side and with some rules. Once he found out what he needed to do, his brothers, Xoey and Nylah traveled with him to each land to support him the best way they could. Maxi fell in love with Nylah with every step of the way. He showed Nylah that he was doing it for her and his family. When everything was said and done, he brought Nylah to a romantic spot to make the final step. What he didn’t know, was what he was showing her wasn’t enough for her to go against her brother.
Nylah was the Queen of her Covenant but didn’t act like it. She had been working with the Xoey to get the help that Maxwell needed to come back home. When she went home to pick up some stuff for her journey, Nyles ambushed her and took her to Deniro. He puts her under a deep spell, which brought Maxwell back home for help. Patience guided Nylah back home and into the arms of the man she dreamt about since he left. She traveled with him and took in what she needed to be the best mate not only to his wolf, but to the other animals as well. Everything was going great and she was finally going to hear Maxwell’s truth, until Nyles showed up and showed out. Nylah saved him once again from the promising death that everyone thought he deserved and Maxwell was tired of his shenanigans. He told Nylah to remove herself and her brother off his property.
It was written that Nylah and Maxwell are destined to be together. But after the words that Maxwell spoke, could that have been enough to drive Nylah into the arms of Deniro. Will it be enough for Deniro to finish his master plan and causes the dark side of Xoey to take over?

Love the cover
Maxwell the drama was so intense, action packed.
Love the release of the animal spirits and Naylah mating to each one.

Ending was underwhelming
I was really enjoying the book until it ended without a mating scene between Maxwell and Nyla. That made the ending underwhelming too. Also, this felt like Maxwell and Xoey’s story. I still enjoyed it.

Their blood was still boiling on the fucking ground. There were people sitting with horror in their eyes; they were afraid. I looked to the front and saw Nylah sitting on a throne. She was looking straight ahead and not paying attention to shit. “Nylah!” I yelled, but she didn’t move. The creature next to her did, though. He turned, and I swear this dude was of a species of his own. He had black lines running up and down his face. The robe that he had on had stretched and torn in some places. His skin was tight and clammy looking. I mean, what the fuck was going on? “Ah, we have guests. Come in and have a seat,” he said, and chairs began to come at us. Xavier held his hand up and stopped the chairs from attacking. He waved his hand, and the chairs went flying at the guards on the side of us. The creature smiled and black shit started running out of his mouth. “Impressive. I heard that dogs travel in packs, but I sense something more from you two,” he said, pointing at me and Xavier. “It doesn’t matter, none of you can defeat me.”

loved it
I truly enjoyed this story it’s my first multi shifter story I thought they were a figment of my imagination lol. I loved Maxwell aka Maxi, not really feeling Nylah. I like every other character in the book I also love that they are regular in spite of their uniqueness. They speak to each other like every black family in America even though they are dealing with extraordinary situations. I felt like I missed something like maybe this book was a continuation it was easy to overcome. I look forward to reading the next book.

Potential
This is the second book I've attempted to read by this author; however it was the first one I was able to get through. The grammar is horrible! Double negatives, run on sentences, misplaced and misspelled words, you name it. With that being said the author has a great imagine & has the potential for something awesome! All she needs is a great editor. Read at your own risk.

Maxwell’s story was perfect !
This story was great. I loved the journey Maxi went on to find his self and I’m glad everything came out in the end. Xoey is nothing to be played with! She is just like her mom times 2. Now the ending had me upset because it’s like none of them can ever catch a break. I know Xoey has a dark side but goodness. I thought after her figuring her self out and Maxi figuring his self out everything would be fine. But I was wrong. Next up Xoey’s story

Addictive
This series is addictive. Found this author in my Facebook group and have read almost half her books at this time. I like the story line and plot. It seems like it keeps evolving and getting better and better. I’m glad I started this journey a little later because I would have been on pins and needles waiting for the next book. I do what I will do when I have read everything and there is nothing left. Always ready for the next story.

Awesome Read
This was an amazing read for me from beginning to end. I love the darkness and details of the story. Now, I love the darkness the story displayed, but there is still light in everything. Its no different for some that believe life in the paranormal perspective is no different than the non paranormal perspective if you will. For me I see the pros and the cons in every story which is great to me. Loved It! Can't wait to read Xoey. ReneeG

Confused
What the hell happened at the end?????? I'm so look confused.... The story was bomb as usual..... I'm glad Maxi got his happy ending.... Him and Nylahanna deserves peace and happiness!!!.... Now Queen and the Prince are missing and apparently they are closing the realms what does that mean??? I need Xoey's story Asap!

Never a disappointment!!!!
Great book as always. I love your stories. I loved going through the journey with Maxwell so he could let the spirits loose so they could become one. The journey was a little sad. You always tell a good story. It was worth the wait. Now I can't wait to read about Xoey.

Not disappointed
Maxwell was always my favorite lol. I love him and nylah relationship. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. This book was filled with adventure, love, sacrifice, and magic lol. Niecy has not disappointed me yet and I can't wait for the next installment.

I absolutely love this series. It seems the family just keeps having stuff thrown at them, but they always pull together as one to try and overcome whatever comes their way. Xoey is my favorite, I love that she is all about family and she tries to fight her dark side. I can’t wait to see what the next part of the series unleashes.

This book was everything and i can’t wait till Xoey book comes i need to kno that Queen and XiXi gone be ok. Maxwell was the BOMB!
When reading the Beast series he wasn't only favorite to the Queen and Princess he became mine too. And the author did him justice with this story. With him, the Queen, her Alpha AND Princess all on the same side the Southern territory seems unstoppable. The saga will continue with the Prinvessy' book next and I am ready!

Highly Recommend!
This series has easily become one of my favorites of all times! As soon as I start a book I can’t quit flipping the pages, I took a chance on a new author and I am glad that I did! If you haven’t read this book and the ones before it you are truly depriving yourself of an excellent read!

Great Read
I swear Niecy P is a beast with this paranormal... She always leaves me on edge wanting more!!! Maxwell connects with all his Alaph beasts but still there’s little Xoey who is force to be reckoned with... Definitely a great read!!!
