Bart and his pals are holding nothing back! First, the sons of The Legitimate Businessman’s Social Club (aka the Mafia) take over Springfield Elementary, and they have their sights set on recruiting Bart as their newest member. And when Lisa applies her study habits to the art of pranking, she gives Bart a healthy dose of competition for the title of “Class Clown.” Then, Bartman tangles with an eight-baby-wielding villain named Dr. Octuplets. Also, Martin Prince makes a move up the social ladder, Homer offers Maggie the moon, and Principal Skinner resorts to desperate measures to contain the force that is . . . Bart Simpson!

A laugh-out-loud graphic novel based on the hit TV show, “The Simpsons!” I loved all the short stories woven throughout! Apu, an Indian character who owns a convenience store, is particularly funny in one of the tales, and I found myself laughing quite jovially at another scene depicting Bart’s aversion to reading, which contrasts my personality completely. The visual depictions and graphics are done exactly like the show and make each and every scene funnier and more entertaining. Overall, this graphic novel is fantastic, and I recommend all fans of the TV show to check this one out! 5 stars!
Simpsons comics never disappoint. I'm really bummed Bongo stop publishing. I keep hoping another company will pick up the license, and also that Harper will continue with graphic novels of already published material.
As far as this volume goes, the art styles varied slightly but everything still looked like The Simpsons in the style of the cartoon. The stories were mostly funny with plenty of comic book in-jokes.
The Simpsons translates great to comics, and it was evident as always here.
This was pretty fun. I wasn’t really a fan of the Ouija board one but I gotta say, the Milhouse Goes to Heck was actually pretty funny and sadly realistic. Unfortunately there really are preachers that use the threat of hell to scare people into salvation and then it isn’t a genuine conversion because they they didn’t really understand Christ’s Lordship, they were just scared of hell.
I enjoyed these and it was very nostalgic bc it's been forevs since I've watched the show. Loved that lisa tries to be a prankster like bart and ends up choosing to be a nerd.
