Ride 'Em Long and Hard
I can't decide which of the heroes in these two books I love most. Both are absolutely fantastic. Mitch Thompson has something all the girls love - a piercing to make them swoon HARD, plus he's an incredible guy. Anna Coleman is one lucky girl!
Let us not forget the ever so yummy Gage Jenick. I swear, I'd give serious consideration to leaving my hubby for him. He's a little broken but with such a huge heart, it's no wonder Katy Thompson crushed on him for so long.
I definitely recommend going on a ride with both of these men. (Now, there's a thought!) The pages flew by and had me jonesing to see what's up next for the rest of the Thompson boys.
I read along while listening to the audio books. The narrator is the lovely Tatiana Sokolov. She's easy to listen to. 🎧😊

I totally enjoyed everything about Katy Thompson and Gage Jenick. From the very beginning, I was all in with these two. I love the way things start, the twists, and the fight for what they both want, need.
I just 💙LOVE💚 Gage. Even when he's worried that he's in over his head, he finds a way. He's incredibly sweet and so stinking HOT!
When his past comes up, I can appreciate the different aspects of it. I may have gotten a bit angry on his behalf when an unauthorized release of minor information was used in court. I can't say more, but I was ready to throw down. ⚖️🥊
Rocky Ride 🌟🌟🌟🌟 .5 - Heart's Desire
Anna Coleman and Mitch Thompson may not seem like a good match on paper or to the general public around them, but what makes them a wonderful couple has nothing to do with appearances or perceptions. I like how aware Anna becomes to the reactions of others and how she doubles down on her efforts to show everyone that they're good together.
When in private, these two are insanely hot. They are playful and plenty naughty! There are many NSFW moments that I love. Speaking of, I love how Mitch gets her to give them a chance and what they do with the respective lists of fantasies.
I love that they are uninhibited so much of the time. Role playing and making fantasies from their lists reality. On top of the exploding chemistry is all of the heart that each has. I love this couple! 💚🤗🔥
Anna's partner at work, Nick Dowes, is a giant jerk. He doesn't get his just due, in my opinion. He may not come out like a bed of roses, but it should've been worse. 🥊😵💫💩

This book consists of two novels - Ride Baby Ride and Rocky Ride.
In both books, POV switches between the male and female main characters, which definitely adds a lot to the story since you get the chance to understand both their actions throughout all developments. On top of that, I just loved seeing the steamy scenes from both sides? Like. Hell yes!
Even more so, it never felt like I didn't know what POV I was in - which is admirable when it comes to certain scenes in these novels. Sometimes you'd think it would all blur into one big mess but that never happened.
In Ride Baby Ride the steamy scenes weren't overly present either. There was a lot of focus on the MC's relationship and issues, which I loved. That was a bit different with Rocky Ride where there was a way bigger focus on the sexual relationship between our main characters. It didn't really bother me, but it was an obvious difference since I read one novel immediately after the other.
Triggers: mention of mental and physical abuse.
All in all, I flew through both these stories. Absolutely loved reading them. They took my mind off life for a bit, which was exactly what the doctor ordered today.

These stories are about the Thompson siblings that center around their family owned garage. The first story in this 2 book collection features Katy Thompson and Gage Jenick, who is one of Katy’s brothers best friends. Gage was always afraid to approach Katy due to his friendship with her brother, but that changed when he realized she was all grown up.
Just when they think they have their chance, a tragic accident along with an unexpected complication changes everything between them and jeopardizes any future they might have. This was my favorite of the two stories.
Second book features Mitch Thompson, bad boy of the family and Constable Anna Coleman. They are crazy fir each other, but Anna is worried about her reputation being with bad boy Mitch. He indulges her and they always meet in secret. That lasts until Anna gets found out by a fellow constable and they decide to go public. However, that doesn’t stop their exploration of all things sexy, it only increases it.
This one was ok, but I didn’t like that Anna was basically ashamed to admit she was with Mitch and he crazily went along with it to make her happy.
I didn’t believe the dynamics of their relationship. The story was well written, good dialogue, but couldn’t connect.
Overall a recommended read.

Just cannot rate it higher as the plot was too overdone for my reading enjoyment.
Likeable characters and enjoyable read but just didn’t make sense to me.
Katy was likeable but a bit stupid in her attitude. Her accident was terrible but surely her senses would be telling her to kick Simon to the kerb. I also found it strange she was not asking everyone she knew about her past with Simon. She has a baby to think off and that should have been her priority, not trying to decide for herself.
Really loved Cage and how he coped superbly with such a strange situation. He was a caring person.
Found the restraining order a bit silly as I cannot believe it would be possible for a situation like that to happen.
I had read this as a previously titled book quite a while ago.
Though I will be reading the others again I believe this to be the worst of this series due to the above facts.

Loved how Anna and Mitch see beyond the outside package the other is wearing, but I found the split up dragged too long.
Nick got off way too lightly.

Katy breaks up with her dick boyfriend and is on a night out when Gage is celebrating his last night in Rocky before he goes to work on oil rigs in middle of nowhere for 6 months.
When Gage fines out Katy is single and free he makes his move.
He goes off to oil rig and Katy ends up in a car accident which leaves her with a brain injury that affects her memory, which makes things very interesting when Gage comes back to hopefully start something with Katy.
Love VA and series she so far has developed. Great HEA.

I wasn't sure I was gonna enjoy Anna story. She comes across as too serious and uptight but with Mitch she becomes a whole new person.
This story does give a lot away for the bonus story Katy and gage but still won't stop me buying n reading it.

Bengal and mischievous two contrasting story's
Gage had been watching Kate for some time and Kate had that almighty crush forever the night before he was going away for six months to work in the oil fields they both made their moves a hot and steamy start, when he left she decided that she needs to say goodbye again "but" the plan is halted abruptly, I've read this story before and it's just as hot the second time around.
Mitch is the wild boy of the Thomson brothers Anna is a cop she is forever pulling him over for speeding but is he just trying to get her attention. After much persuading she finally agrees to meet him from there it gets hotter and hotter they can't keep their hands off each other, then there's Nick a work colleague of Anna's. Two great fun stories well worth the read recommend

Probably the most pornographic book I ever had which claimed to be a romance. I have to say it was absolutely disgusting and I skimmed through most of it to even find any kind of story line I could enjoy. Not a fan and won't be reading any of her novels again. It was so bad it was not even believable that people could be that oversexed.

This is two amazing stories wrapped up inside one fabulous boxset.
You can't get much better than that especially when you are listening to it and it is narrated by Tatiana Sokolov.She is Excellent at portraying both male and female characters and you don't even realise that there is only one person doing all the voices...because it actually feels like multiple narrators.
Book 1 is Ride Baby Ride....and it the the story of Gage and Katy's romance.
Gage is Katy's brothers friend and they have crushed on one another for a long time,seeing as they have known eachother for years.Until one day their feelings for one another changed and they see just how attractive and amazing eachother are.But none of them made a move in fact Katy had a boyfriend who was a jerk..then they break up and all bets are off Gage makes his move but the timing is bad as he is going away for 6 months for work.
They do have one passionate night together the night before he leaves..and that night leaves its mark in more ways than one.
This is an endearing story sweet and romantic as they get to know one another when Gage returns to find Katy a changed woman.Plus it has the super sexy vibe as they are hot together.But nothing is smooth sailing as there are obstacles to get over.
LOved the story.
Book Two is Rocky Ride.
This cop Anna and bad boy Mitch's romance.
They appear to be opposites but Anna and Mitch fit together in more ways than expected.
They are in a secret sexual relationship but Mitch wants more.
Anna is a stickler for rules being a cop she needs to be...but she is hiding another side of herself to the world but not to Mitch,he sees the real Anna and he likes what he sees.
Anna loves to experiment and wants to try new things with Mitch he makes her feel free.
But Mitch has a reputation with his Tattoos biker vibe people assume he is trouble and he gets unfairly treated sometimes.
Mitch and Anna comprise a list of all the thing they want to do with one another as a couple because they both want more from eachother and don't want to hide their relationship anymore.
But there are some people who don't want them to be together...He is a Badboy and she is a good girl with a dirty side.
And believe me this one is a sexy little story...I loved how Anna changed throughout the book becoming more self assured with herself and her relationship with Mitch.
Another great story from Vivian Arend and in both stories there are also cameo appearances from characters we have met and love before.
I love the rocky mountin world that Vivian Arend has created and these two books are Fantastic editions to that series. and also can be read as a stand alone.
This is a wonderful boxset for your reading or listening pleasure.

Vivian Arend writes the best erotic romance and this one was so good! Ride Baby Ride is very romantic with a little touch of excitement due to Katy’s ex-boyfriend. Rocky Ride is so hot my earbuds nearly caught on fire. 🔥 I loved getting to see the uninhibited side of Anna Coleman after seeing her as the proper RCMP Constable in other books in the connected Six Pack Ranch series. Tatiana Sokolov continues her excellent performance of Vivian Arend’s characters.

Easy, nonsensical read. Characterizations were ok and I feel could have been developed better. Unfortunately more emphasis was placed on lust and sex which to me meant that I was questioning the author's ability to write any meaningful storyline that would be believable. It was a free book I picked up from Kindle but I know after this I won't be purchasing by of this author's books. Simply not my cup of tea!

That was different.
These two books were a bit weird together and didn’t seem to be from the same series. For one, the first book was a bit...bland, to be honest. Outside of the conflict with Simon, there was really no major action. But the second book? Yeah, that was way out there from the first page. Like leagues apart from the first one. They just didn’t go together and felt like two different authors wrote them.

Right from the start of this story I felt like I was there watching the
relationship develop between the two main characters.
Started off with them getting together before things took a little turn
that through the couple’s plan off. Will they be able to get back on track.
The narrator like usual has done a great job of bringing this book alive.

Ride Baby Ride is a wonderful beginning for this Thompson & Sons series. I love it when Ms. Arend reaches out and writes about the friends mentioned in her other series. Very touching.. grab your Kleenex when listening to Gage and Katy’s story narrated by Tatiana Sokolov.

This is my first book by the author and I don’t know if I’ll read anymore. Descriptions are a major part of a book. I like to picture the characters in my head as you see them. It’s amazing how you can describe the scenery but not the characters. There’s so much detail about everything else except the MC’s.

Oh my goodness! To have a hunky, hot, man of your dreams do half of the things Gage does to make Katy not only remember him, but fall for him again makes any woman hot under the collar and falling for him. He is the perfect hero- a wonderful mix of sexy and cute and I love that the story isn’t just the ‘usual’ toils and troubles of a couple trying to form a relationship.

I've read Ride Baby Ride before and liked it. I liked Rocky Ride better. Mitch is hot and Anna turned out to be cooler than in the first book. In looking forward to the next story Len is my favorite.

Love conquers all in the end even memory loss. Beautifully written with characters who could be your family or friends the connection and passion between gage and katybug is fantastic. Love the series and cant wait to read more

I only read book one, it was ok. Story line was decent, but it felt so much was missing. No conclusion with what happened after the baby arrived and the results. I wasn't interested enough to read the other story.

Very enjoyable set of books with good storyline and characters. My preference was the second read as Anna and Mitch were polar opposites with phenomenal chemistry. Recommend.

Not sure how I feel
This one was tough to decide. It just seemed to skate along the surface and never really dig deep. The main characters were likeable enough but something was missing.

I love that Vivian's story has a twist in turning around Stewart's report about Anna to something good that led into her promotion! Nick didn't see it coming. His actions led to Anna outranking him by being a corporal. Good work!

What a treat to be able to have 2 books in one. Loved the adventure and drama this story took me on. I didn't want to exit when the ride was over. Wonderful characters and chemistry. Thoroughly enjoyed the stories.
