Rate this book

Most of the 30 years I have spent in the software projects profession, I was part of large scale and complex software projects. The vast majority of them could be considered as a massive failure. After a while I started to understand the patterns of failure. It is about the failure of the software industry, which is represented by large and established organizations, to deal with software projects in a consistent and methodic way.

This book tries to deal the local and the wider aspects of the failure and offering a simple and methodical way to deal with software projects, starting with the CIO through the project manager down to the execution teams.
