Was Giovania really the one behind the hit placed on Ja? And what are Big Johns real intentions for her and the baby? This second installment was captivating from beginning to end.Life and circumstances are slowly but surely teaching Giovania to be stronger because she’s constantly being thrown curveballs.In all actuality all she wants is a happy home and safety,security and a peaceful life for Camille and her mother,or rather her mammy who I knew from the beginning would turn out to be the snake that she is.I really feel bad for Shanti.She overreacted without facts about Gia but she was just a pawn in her father and Crystal’s dirty lil games.I truly hope Danielle and Safari haven’t been compromised in the process of Yari going to save his baby mama and his seed because she’s a good woman as well and Bull appears to be a maniac.Hopefully Yari is okay too.There was non stop jaw dropping action right up til the climax and I just know book three will be just as exciting!

OMG...Ja is a fool and he definitely got it from his momma. Those two trip me out with their reckless mouth and actions. I think its definitely what Giovania needs to bring her out of that shell and boss up. I hated that she had to go through so much and from people she called "family & friends". I also hated it for Ashanti. Hopefully everything will work out for them. Giovanias' mom must have been brainwashed but I hope she comes to her senses. That is just something else to test Gia. Im sitting on edge waiting to see what happens next and hope this detective and Mateo get exactly what they deserve. Definitely a good series with laughs, drama, suspense, deceit, & love.

Picked up right where the last installment left off. With drama and more drama. Still full of lies and secrets and I loved every page of it. The storyline and plot are still on point and flowed really well, I was so into it that I had finished before I knew it. The suspense in this book is great, everytime I think I have something figured out BAM something else is happening. Twist and turns everywhere and I love the way Carmen has a spin on this story. Now, I hated what Giovania had endure, but I see it's made her stronger and I know it's more growth to come. Ja isn't to be played with and I know after that ending ...bodies everywhere. Now Giovania's mother has lost her mind. been brainwashed or was a snake all along. Can't wait to see how this all unfolds. Awesome job Carmen Lashay.

EXCELLENT
I absolutely love this series. It seems that Gia & Ja can’t seem love drama free, every time they get there something else happens. Book 2 definitely introduced some new twists that weren’t expected, I never imagined her mother being against her. I’m read for book 3, I ready to see what happens. #ARC

I really love Jah and Giovania relationship....I love the way he loves her and vice versa. I want Yari to be there for his baby but I don't want him and Ashanti together. Hope to read more about this Alexx character. What is Bull going do in book 3? Can't wait to see what happens next.

I finished this book in the same day and baby I couldn't out it down. I'm happy that Ja got it together before it was to late. I'm happy his wife made it back save. But the WTF is up with her mother?? The end of the book got me a messed up like WTF is really going on???....
