The subtitle of this book is ‘A prophetic call for women to receive swords, mantles, and kingdom assignments’ and that subtitle is what drew me to the book. Unfortunately the bulk of the book is a challenge to the religious culture that subverts women due to gender. I understand that subversion and suppression is real in the religious culture but I think the topic has been thoroughly addressed by multiple other authors. Within this book was a great deal of repetition. There was only one chapter (chapter six) that spoke to me as I felt it addressed the identified topic.
