Lucas “Lucky” Moore has a one-track mind and one thing on his agenda:
Track down the Mexican drug lord that has made it his mission to hunt and eliminate Lucky’s Marine Reconnaissance team, their families, and the SEALs working alongside them, and end his reign of terror permanently.
Working with Tex, the SEAL computer genius, the teams have come to realize the only way to find the elusive kingpin is through his deadly hacker, El Lobo Blanco—The White Wolf.
But who is the mysterious person behind the computer screen who always seems to be one step ahead?
Enter Grace Trevino . . . exotically beautiful, dark, and dangerous.
Her ties to the cartel run deep.
But how deep?
When she reaches out to Lucky, desperate for help, can he afford to turn away the one person who may be able to stop this madness forever? As their explosive chemistry reaches epic proportions, he’s left with even bigger questions—is she really who she says she is? Can he trust her with his life? With his heart?
***Continue the hunt that began with Susan Stoker’s Navy SEALs and my Marine Corps Reconnaissance team in Defending Danielle, Rescuing Rebekah, and Saving Scarlett as they close in on the Mexican drug cartel and their bloodthirsty hacker, El Lobo Blanco—and things twist, turn, and burn!

Mmm, I think part of why I don't really like/love this series is that the main tie-in to SS's world seems to be Tex... now, do not get me wrong. I love love love Tex... he is right up there with Chace Keaton, Mitch Lawson, Aiden Graves, Quinn Sullivan & Dan O'Malley for me... but, the only time is was really physically present in SS's world was in his own story... other than that, he chose to be back of house, working on his own with no need to answer to anyone. After all, he had markers from all sorts of people all around the world.
In this series, it feels like he is part of the government... working in a sanctioned environment. Now, Tex was a SEAL... and once a SEAL always a SEAL... but he made a deliberate choice. And I don't get why he is always nearby... he moved to Pennsylvania so that Melody would be close to her friends and where she had always lived. He wouldn't uproot his family and stay for an indefinite amount of time on the other side of the country. And what about Baby? See, this is why I have issues... it doesn't flow cos I am always feeling little bumps that irritate and stop me fully immersing. And I really genuinely do not understand how he would not know about his cousin. That is unbelievable. Tex is a whiz who ticks & crosses every single box.
Saving Grace is by Shauna Allen. This is a great book and is almost the end of the series. Things are really heating up for the Marines as they face Esteban and Shadeek. These two are now stalking the Marines to stop them from interfering in their plans. Lucky doesn’t feel very lucky as he is designated Grace’s handler. Just because he was instrumental in locating her, he now has to sit with her. Can he get information out of her that will help them or is Tex the only one who can do that? Can Lucky keep his attraction to Grace under control? Grace has decided to side with the Americans even though that means she will never be able to go back to Mexico again. If they can help her find and fee Brianne, she will be in their debt forever. As it is, they managed to save her from having to marry Juan Esteban. That would have been a fate worse than death. How can she convince Lucky she can be trusted? Will they help find Brianne?
When the Grace doesn't feel lucky she reaches out to the one who left her that note. Lucky doesn't know if it is a good thing that they have the female with ties to the cartel in their safe house of if it is a set up.
Once again this is a quick read that is steamy and angsty. The action is nail biting and keeps you reading. Even though this is a novella you will be invested in the characters. You see all the other characters from the Kindle World books that Shauna has written.
Lucky falls hard and fast and when danger comes around he questions his and Graces feelings. In the end.... well you will just have to read to the end. Enjoy.
Saving Grace by Shauna Allen blends the both of Susan Stokers Special ops guru Tex and Ms. Allen's Marine Reconnaissance Team member all rolled into one book that will have you wondering until the end if Brianne will be rescued from her captor.
Grace Trevino knows one thing she has to escape because if she doesn't she'll be passed to Juan Esteban a friend of her uncle. When she find the message Lucky left she will contact him but if she tells her families secrets will it expose and hurt more than her or will her BFF Brianne be a target also? After all the cartel has ways of finding out who the traitor is and trust me you won't be alive afterwards. It will take not only Tex but Lucas "Lucky" Moore and his team of Marines with back up from Wolf's SEALS to save her and try to find her best friend Brianne who has secrets of her own.
Great book with some exciting action thrown in and of course Tex and his family which was very nice to have. I look forward to reading Redeeming Brianne and her rescue by one of Lucky's team members Tito.
Grace was the princess of the drug cartel Lucas and tex and the rest have been fighting against. They thought she may be the elusive White Wolf. She sends a cryptic msg for help. Curious Tex and Lucas stay at a sleezy motel and monitor her movements. When she finally arives for their meeting they are both shocked. She's asking for help and getting her best friend back. There is a long road ahead for them and the team again. Tag along for this adventure. I for one can't wait for the next book in this saga. Great read.
Lucky had broken into Grace's office and took files. He also left a note. Grace has just been told she is to marry the second in command of the cartel. She would rather die first. Lucky and Tex are in Mexico doing some recon when Lucky gets a call from Grace. They are now in California and sure that the cartel will come looking. Will they be safe at the safehouse? Will Lucky get to keep the girl?
Tex is back and so is the marines working to find the cartel. They have a new in by finding Grace, and inadvertently the secret hacker. The romance is sweet and the action is quick. The story is fast paced and includes all the other women from this series. A great addition and cliffhanger for the next story. I hope to see more with Brianna and that she also gets her HEA.
This was very well written. It is a quick read yet the characters and storyline are well developed, complex, and detailed. This book certainly can be read as a standalone, but there is a story thread woven through each offering that you will be able to fully enjoy if you read them in order.
An intense drama between Seals and the Cartel. Grace makes contact and asks one of the Americans for help. They rescue her thinking she might be the Mexican hacker. When the Cartel comes to the States to kidnap her, the suspense begins in the Seals efforts to save her. There are many surprises along the way.
Absolutely loved this story it was fast pace and intense. Sexy Lucas aka Lucky's turn to find his leading lady. Grace is the cartel princess, who has been ordered to marry the second in command of the cartel but she takes a chance on Lucky to help her and what she finds is so much more. Happy Reading!!
I’m invested in this series because I’ve been hooked since I read “Defending Danielle”. Unfortunately, I still find the stories lacing. I’m not sure what’s needed to bring a five star rating, I’ll figure it out as I continue with the series. Hopefully, I’ll work up to 5 stars.
Saving Grace is Grace and Lucky's story. This book captivates you from the start. The multiple twists and turns will keep you hooked throughout. The author knocked this one out of the park! I really enjoyed it, and I cannot wait to read more in this series! I highly recommend it!
This was a great book I enjoyed it very much. Can't get over how it ends I hope it won't be long before the next one comes out. I don't want to give any spoilers I will just say it's worth your time to read
I couldn’t wait for this one. And Ms. Allen did not disappoint! Lucky and Grace’s story is full of intrigue. We get to see some of our favorite people from the rest of the stories and I love that.
This book has wonderful characters and lots of mystery and action. I love the way these books have a happy ending, yet still carry on the thread of an over arching theme. Very enjoyable!
Even though these stories are short. They are awesome. I can't wait to read the next one. The story just keeps getting better and better. There was a twist at the end of this one and I can't wait to find out what happens!!
Wonderfully written. Plenty of action. Excellent characters. Some new and some old friends. Very little sexual content. It's a fast read. A continuation in seeking the white wolf in the Mexican cartel.
I have loved this series and wish it was longer lol. thanks so much for bringing in Susan Stokers Seal team of wolf, tex and the gang. Cannot wait for more of the gang from Shauna. You wont be disappointed
Lucas doesn’t know if Grace is the enemy or not. However, their chemistry is through the roof. What are they to do? This love story is definitely one that was fought, but sometimes resistance is futile! Love this series and the characters!
Lucky and Grace find happy ever after despite the cartel hell bent on taking out everyone near and dear to the Force Recon Marines and the SEALs of Protection. The good guys are one step closer to taking down the cartel and the terrorists they're in league with.
Wow these books just get better as they go on. I look forward to reading the next book in the series. But I really can’t wait for Brianne’s book. I loved reading Grace and Lucas’s story.
Not as entertaining as the previous ones. Getting a little tired of the White Wolf. I like connected stories, but they don’t all have to be the same bad guy.
Loved it! This story was heart pounding, romantic, sexy and a page turner. This story had me on the edge of my seat and waiting for what was going to happen next! My favorite kind of romance!!
Lucky met Grace and promptly took off with her. Grace had called his number and begged him to save her. But the cartel still had her best friend, Brianna. Great Read enjoyed it.
I'm loving this series even more on my second read. Lucky and Grace met in unusual circumstances, but they certainly have a great connection, I cannot wait to read the next book.
