Rose and Simon return home from their honeymoon to the fight between their friends. Before Rose is able to catch her breath another body is found. Putting the last of their honeymoon on pause, Rose and Simon join up with Zee and Carver to solve the murder. Just who killed Jane's ex and why? They need to find out before their friend is arrested for a murder they know she didn't commit.

Parrots, dogs and murder
Awesome. Coming home from honeymoon was a bit of a wake up call as the truth about J.J was out in the open. Not only that but his biological father was coming back to town. Worse he had also had children with the sister of the dog shelter. When he arrives with threats of lawsuits and obnoxious behaviour, he gets everyone's back up, it is hardly surprising that when a body turned up at the shelter it proved to be his. Who killed him? Was it someone protecting their children? As she and Zee look into the list of suspects, more and more motives turn. Now suffering from a stomach bug will she have the strength to find the killer? A terrific plot and it's like revisiting friends to see/read about the characters again.

This is a fun series
This series has 11 books so far, with a new one on the way. The characters were strong and very likable. Lots of action and mysteries to solve. It has the benefit of having lots of animal loving too. The only criticism I have is that the books needed better copy editing. There were misspelling of a character, and several words left out of some sentences. It made it confusing. I have enjoyed other series that Beth has written, so I'm wondering if this was an earlier series. Still a good read !!

Cooking, Cops, & Cainines Pluss
This series has it all. Best friends, good food, adventure & love in all the right places & a bit of murder just for fun. From the beginning, I was hooked. Now, I can't wait for the next "shower" (pink or blue) of suspense and reading sustenance!! Bring it on Beth 😉

And Baby Makes Three
Love the story line and the support and love the characters give one another. They are not perfect but really love each other. Always a good mystery to work out. On to book #12.

Love this series!
I have read the first 11 books in this series and looking forward to reading more especially reading about the baby and the food truck business!
The characters are each incredible on their own and combined they make a great team!

Trying to continue the honeymoon at home falls short when they have another murder. Lots of twists and turns in this book.

Who was Jordy? He was so different from how he was portrayed in the first 2 books. I hate inconsistencies.
