In the final installment, outsiders will give it one last whirl to attempt to break up the unbreakable Owen and Conquer. From fake pregnancies to jealous family members, no stone will be left unturned when trying to rip this couple apart. Not to mention, the young, handsome, intelligent, and extremely envied capo, has daggers being his shot his way constantly, prompting Owen to become leery of what she's signed up for. Will the couple make it in love and out of all the drama alive? Or will people finally yank them apart by any means necessary, giving seemingly the world what it ultimately wants? Take this last ride with Owen and Conquer, two people with a bond and love so strong, that some covet it, some loathe it, and others can't comprehend it.
This was a good ending to this read. I'm glad everyone came out on top because everyone deserve that happiness. I don't know if this is cruel but I just wish that Conquer would have did something to Tyla because she didn't deserve to live on in my opinion 🤷🏾♀️. I also wish we could have gotten a little bit more of Autumn and Nicolo story before the series ended but overall I was satisfied.
This so called series is ridiculous, seriously! Do research before you write on a subject. How many times did we have to see the words mob, mafia, boss or how super powerful Conquer was! The dialogue sucked like a very bad tubi movie. What happened to Tyla, nothing was said from any family about Domenico, ol girls Santiago father, or anybody else that came up missing, what about Conquers Mom? How ridiculous was Kove to think his father should be shown grace after killing Conquers father. Speaking of, for them to be 'mafia' these were the weakest bunch of men ever, especially Kove, he was a walking red flag, 3 kids by 3 baby Mama's, he was weak for the one that cheated on him and had him outside looking weak, I hated him more than Domenico. How was the little brother so lame???? He acted like a 13 year old boy that couldn't talk to girls. The characters and the story was just lame and got more farfetched and ridiculous as the story went on. Glad it's over, the title is very misleading there was nothing 'hood' about anything this was more like boys born and raised in the suburbs that got to play with guns as kids and really wanted to be hood. Ridiculous.
This was a amazing story. Keep me interested from the beginning for the first installment. These characters are so relatable to the other. The connections were great. Definitely a lot of wow moments. Just great all around Wonderful job SL
I love conquer and owems relationship. It shows the great length he would go to to make her happy. Conquer played no games as a Boss as well. Im glad he sat autumn atraight she was jealous and petty he scared some sense into her. She finally met her match with nicolo stoic behind. This is one entertaing book
ALL 3 books were great.. This was finally closure... Ashonti was that Man, no doubt, the love he showed, felt for Owen was over powering. His refusal to accept ANY lack of respect for Owen was crazy.. Who puts their own mother in Time Out, for 6 months for her own disrespect of his wife. Tyla, what a dummy, hope she left las vegas.. Poor Lisa, getting beat by Owens dad because he was less than a man, and his daughter was successful. He had some serious issues, when she saved his life in the start of the series, he just had a death wish, and boy did he get it. Autumn made me side eye her for that so called intervention, glad she is gtting some of that Italian.... Finally Bleu came to her senses.. Domenico, Mercy needed to be dealt with, surprisingly, Sumi did not get the business with her low down sneaky self... Carmin finally got her happy.... Maybe some follow ups in the future of these characters Shvonne???? Excellent ending to this series....
The story was okay in the beginning but I got tired of Ashonti (aka Conquer) and Owen. They couldn't go anywhere without getting busy. After Owen got pregnant she was whiney and clingy and annoying. I was just ready for this story to end. I had already lost interest in part 2 but I was, waiting for more action and didn't get it. I tried to like this series but could not. I wasn't impressed with Conquer or any of his brothers and the female characters didn't wow me either. Nothing about the story pulled me in or had me wanting to read on but I wanted to finish the series.
As I complete this series, it is one of Shvonne's oldest series, but it is still a good one and a testament to how good her writing became after this.
I enjoyed reading about Conquer and Owen. Their story really showcases that you never know what you need until the right one comes into your life. While Conquer was in an unhappy relationship, he never saw himself truly falling in love, and his individual businesses and his family's criminal business were the highlights of his life. Owen, being a survivor of such an unfortunate situation where she was violated, left her scared of men and only seeking temporary satisfaction from other women.
However, when their paths crossed as Owen tried to help her ungrateful a** father, they developed a relationship they did not expect and literally became each other's everything. I loved reading about their growth as a couple and as people. As they became important to one another, they also learned that no one, not even family, should be allowed to block what your heart truly desires.
I loved reading about Bleu finding her happiness as well. NOW, I will say even with Kove's baggage, I don't know if that is something I could fully accept. However, they went through trials and tribulations to achieve happiness.
I was also happy to see Carmin and Johan find love and happiness with each other after suffering in relationships they felt obligated to be in. I initially felt bad about Mercy and Johan's situation because sometimes, some couples can't get out of the darkness after experiencing what they did as parents. However, when you turn to the opps, you can't be too surprised with the outcome when switching sides. So in the end, it was unfortunate that after so much depression she endured, Mercy cared very little about her life and made the wrong decisions.
It was unfortunate that Owen's father had the mindset he did, and that made him a terrible father and husband. Regardless of what Owen chose to do with her life, I would have loved to see him accept her for who she was and love her regardless. Even though he was a trash person, Owen still held a great level of love and respect for him, which, of course, led her to the love of her life.
Tyla, Tyla's dad, Domencio, Nuria, Kove's dad, and anyone else who had more than enough chances to change their tune and let Owen and Conquer be, got exactly what they deserved.
In the end, I enjoyed this series, and I'm glad each couple got their happy endings. However, I will say there was NOTHING "hood" about any of the men in this series...lol!
This, wow, this, hummm... I absolutely need to be conquered!
I think this is my second time reading this author and the first time was not good; that was why I never read any other work or never followed her, but this right here has me not only following her but already queued up the next group that I will be reading once I am done with this review. Book 1 and 2 were the bomb and this finale was exceptional. It was so nice how everybody got their act together and got their HEA. Conquer and Owen obviously we're the it ones and had the most going on. Conquer is so bad ass, so alpha, so beautiful, intelligent not to say genius and Owen was equally his partner. Beautiful, sexy, smart, strong, and very intelligent as well and still down to earth. Kove and Bleu dodged a bullet with Sumi yet I still think that they were the most boring of the couple same as Johan and Carmin. But Autumn and Nicolo, wow, I am pissed that this happened at the end when there was not enough time to develop them. They were the most interesting ones. Happy everyone got what they deserved specially Ziva and Manuel yet I don't understand why Tyla didn't. It was also nice to see how all the extra baggage just disappeared. This was an excellent series and it's definitely going to my top reading logs. You know a story is good when while you are reading the finale you are remembering the first book and wants to reread it again. The romance was off the chain, the alpha prowess was off the chain, the gangster was off the chain, the bad ass thug man was off the chain, the ladies was off the chain, the storyline was off the chain and the author was off the chain.... Good job MS. Latrice, good job. This whole series deserved more than 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This series started off so good. The first book had me so locked in, I started the second one immediately, and I mean IMMEDIATELY after. The second one…wasn’t as good but I was still very optimistic.
This one was a Snoozefest. 😴😴
I wasn’t even halfway through the book before I started scanning pages to get through it.
1. Every scene with Owen and Shon consisted of sex. I get that this is indeed urban fiction but it became so predictable and boring. And sometimes it was the only scene in the chapter.
2. The ex’s were all unreasonably annoying. Tyla, Dezi, Dezi’s sister, Nuria, Jamee, Duane, Sumi, Mercy. None of them could have any chill? On top of that even the people that had crushes were crazy. Jewel, the guy that worked for Carmin, the one girl that went in a Date with Blue. Everyone was crazy.
3. Domenico was a boring villain. All he did was pop up randomly to do some weak sh🤬t only to disappear again. His menacing was 3/10. Disappointing.
4. Conquer was the only book bae worth anything. Johan ghosted Carmin to many times for my liking. A dude would have one time to choose someone over me and he would be cancelled indefinitely. Kove had tooooo much baggage in my opinion. Bleu is a saint for still choosing him, couldn’t been me.
5. Why were introduced to Niccolo and Autumn? They ended up just being another dose of boring with their abbreviated love story.
If this was one of the first stories I read from this author, she would have lost me but I know better. Applying Pressure and the Crenshaw Kings series!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Ashonti didn't play bout his La Bella and vice versa. It's like he works was constantly against them, but they knew each other inside and out so they knew neither was risking their relationship by feeding into the Lord other's created.
Bleu & Kove: Kove had wayyyyy too much drama for me lol like boy frfr?? How you get mad at Neve for having a boyfriend when you were still messing with Sumi AND persuing Bleu?? He needed to grow up and I'm glad Bleu gave him the reality check.
Carmin & Johan: I didn't like how Johan did Carmin. He was too flaky for me and especially with his delivery of said flakiness. Granted Carmin wasn't an angel and had her quirks she still didn't deserve what Johan dished out to her. I was happy that they were able to work things out and that Johan stepped in when it came to Justus.
Autumn & Nicolo: I kinda peeped that coming from them, but they are exactly what the other needs.
I don't have any kind of feelings for Mr. Santiago, Dom, Ziva, Ellen, Mr. Woods, Amos, etc because they tried Conquer and Owen too many times for me.
Conquer is so smooth and I just love how he handle things. With Owen living her life wild and a lesbian in the first book I was not sure where their relationship would take them, but they weathered a lot of storm and happy they got their HEA.
Bleu was more wishy washy since she also lived the lesbian lifestyle and I can see she can easily fall back into that lifestyle.
Kove and Johan were some idiots and got played by their so called women had me laughing out loud! Sumi was just grimy and Mercy was just led astray after living in a depressed state for so many years. It’s a shame that she made a bad decision.
That Amos was a sick individual and got what he deserved, but taking advantage of these teenagers and getting them pregnant was a travesty wooo chile.
Glad the villains got what they deserved and there was HEAs. Now Tyla continued to be delusional and she got off easy with all the havoc she caused IJS.
Some storylines could have been fleshed out more like the aftermath of Amos, more on Sumi griminess and on Autumn.
the finale gets 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for sure!!! I loved how Conquer prevailed from chapter one!!! I was soooo happy to see that Owen didn't believe the fckery that hussy was saying to her....I knew that Autumn wanted Conquer... I'm glad she never tried him hell he would have shut her down anyway cause he plays no games!!! I loved how all of their enemies got what they deserved especially Dom and Owens Dad!!! Loved how Owen was calling out hits on ppl too such a Mob Wife!!! I'm glad all the couples found happiness in the end!! Nico finally bussed a nut yassss!!!!! I will be putting this series in my re-read rotation while I wait on the next banger!!!! The #1 spot was well deserved!!! PLEASE DON'T CHANGE YOUR WRITING STYLE!!! YOUR REAL FANS LOVE THE LONG READS!!! IT'S WAY BETTER THAN THE OTHERS!!! THIS IS HuAnna Prentice from Facebook!!!!
Glad this series is over......I wasn't too impressed. Owen STILL got on my Nerves *from the Previous 2 books* because she was like a Spoiled AND Insecure Brat, rather than The Wife of a Mafia BOSS!🙄🙄🙄🙄 I'm Glad she and Conquer loved each other, But 85% of the book (The Series!!) consisted of sex, which became Boring & Predictable!😒 There Didn't seem to be any Growth with her character and it was ANNOYING, to say the least!😑 Furthermore, as a Wife AND Mature "Woman"-I feel she could have Wedged the gap between Conquer & His Mother, rather than worried about him putting her "First".....typical SELFISH Owen!!👎👎👎👎 Besides the Annoyance of the Heroine of this series, it was slow, dragging in areas and Unrealistic at times!😬 Overall, I Like the Author, but THIS was Not her best work and series......🙄😶
Though violent and deadly as heck, I loved Ashonti, he was really a caring man under all that mob business. Domenico was never going to act right so he had to go. Mama Ferrari was basically removed from their life because she meddled in the business that didn't concern her. Tyla was an entitled spoiled little girl who lost her man but still felt like she should get the royal treatment, but found out real quick she really didn't matter and got just what she deserved for being petty and trying to hold on to a man who told you the first time he was done with you. Owen's father was a nutcase and met with a terrible fate as well as all those who caused problems for Owen and Conquer. All the other couples finally got their HEA and the snakes were all dealt with. Great series as usual Shvonne Latrice!
Out of all of the books, this one is my least fav. The tile should have been Conquer and Owen The Gods. I Went from loving Ashonti and Owen to skipping through most of their scenes. It was just too much of the same thing, sex, I love you, you’re beautiful and him stepping to everyone even her little sister. The book did not get interesting until about 70% in and even that was short lived. Kove and Johan were weak men who allowed women to run their lives.... one bright spot was Autumn and Nicolo, wish there were more of them. Still love this gifted and talented author and will read more of her books.
When I started reading this series I had mixed emotions about the two main characters.I mean I understand about being about your business and your relationship but some things where a little to the extreme.I mean really you imprison your mother ,really whatever happened to exile.Also.The Tyla storyline went just a little to long.Over this was just good good writing.I so would have loved to see Autumn and Nicolo a.little bit more,I sensed not only heat but comedic chemistry. This was story not only lets you see the gangster at work but see him handle business. This is book club worthy!
I thoroughly enjoyed all three books in this series! Each installment was packed with drama and suspense, and the cliffhangers at the end of the first two books were so gripping that I couldn’t wait to dive into the next one. The author did an excellent job of dropping tidbits throughout the story, keeping me hooked and wanting more with every chapter.
The final book was the perfect conclusion, tying up all the loose ends and delivering the closure needed after the twists and turns of the first two books. Overall, this series was a fantastic read from start to finish!
Out of the entire series, Hood Boyz Fall in Love Too: Book 3 is probably the best one, but even then, it still lands in the “maybe” category for me. I’m honestly not sure how I made it this far through the series, but something about Shvonne Latrice’s writing always keeps me curious enough to finish.
This installment definitely had more emotional layers and better pacing than the previous books, but it still didn’t quite give me that “wow, I’m invested” moment. The story had potential to really hit, especially with the characters’ growth and the tension between loyalty, love, and survival, but it never fully delivered the punch I was hoping for.
Kove & Bleu are so cute I’m so glad Sumi’s baby wasn’t for Kove she was trash!!! It’s bad enough he had one child by her he didn’t need another with her. I’m glad He and Quan were able to squash the tension between them not that he had a chose😜. Johan & Carmin were my favorite couple ❤️❤️❤️. Johnan was a very sweet guy that got played by Mercy but she got what she deserved eventually. Johan & Carmin’s story would make for a good spinoff 😉😉. Very good series didn’t want it to end.
I almost gave 4 stars because of the overuse of the word “papi”🙄 If I never see or hear that word again, I’ll be happy 🤣 All jokes aside, this series was 🔥 Owen and Ashonti/Conquer were a dope couple. Conquer was Bae and had BDE 🥰 Tyla really was a prude🤣 The other couples were fun, especially Nicoli and Autumn…. But Autumn was a hater to me and I didn’t like her lusting after Conquer….That was the only part that turned me off. I’m glad she finally got a man🙄 Please read this series, you will not be disappointed ‼️
I enjoyed the series up until Book 3. It’s almost like Shvonne ran out of steam and wanted to wrap it up. The storyline with Carmin and Domenico’s son fell flat. Cause hello, is the baby not Ashonti’s nephew? Are we to believe Tyla just faded peacefully into the background? The ending needed to be tightened up.
Owen and Ashonti’s story was cute and had a love of swoon-worthy moments. The title was a little misleading since this wasn’t really “hood.” It could’ve just been named Conquer or The Corterie
I thoroughly enjoyed all three books in this series! This Finale was like everybody can get it! You can you can and yes even you can lol. I don’t know why people kept trying h. They know he ain’t nothing to play with. I was so happy Dom and her dad got what they deserved. , Tyla dad really worked my last nerve smh like really my dude. I knew Sumi wasn’t ish smh. Mercy ended up being trifling. I do need a spinoff or something because someone has got to explain Autumn & Nicolo to me lol another sensational book
All I can say is this book was awesome the way Shvonne told the story you could feel it in your soul the love that Conquer and Owen had for one another was the kind of love any woman would love to have I'm glad all the couples find love especially Autumn and Nicolo I would love to hear more on their relationship one day also I'm glad Conquer took care all the enemies especially Don. Once again awesome job keep up the great work looking forward to reading more from you.
Shvonne Latrice you have done an excellent job with this series. The characters, the storyline, everything was judt, what's the words, well placed and put together perfectly. Ashonti and Owen are the perfect couple. Love those two. I hate to see them go but I feel in love with this Italian mafia: Ashonti, Owen, Carlin, Johan, Kove, Bleu, Autumn and Nicolo. They will be missed. Thank you a for a wonderful series
I never thought anyone could top Mischief and Ricky Ak but babyyyyyy Conquer done stole the stage🤩🤩🤩. He was a savage but a gentle giant to Owen. Yes Owen never let them destroy what you'll have built. I cant seem to wrap my mind around Nicolo and Autumn. Johan deserved the happiness he finally found. Kove was a hot mess but Bleu was perfect for him. Domenico could just leave well enough alone. I would love to know more about Zuko and Sephira.
I swear when I read anything from Shvonne I never want it to end. That’s how 🔥 her series be. Maaannnnn Owen and Conquer had some 💣 sex scenes 😍 I’m glad everything got handled, especially with Owens dad. Tyla had her nerves 🤦🏾♀️ Mercy just turned out to be a stone cold dummy. I’m just happy everyone who tried to take down Conquer and Owen got handled and everyone got their happy ending.
I absolutely love shvonne latrice work she never disappoints. The way conquer loves owen is beautiful daring and dangerous. But Owen loves conquer the same way they can't live without one another. Owens dad was a cruel man. Conquer really punished his mom dearly sending her to prison for contacting travis to run into Owen. Autumn is a hater not wanting her sister with conquer but sadly falling for him herself. This series was everything Capo loving is good luvin.....#2014
Finally Owen’s father and Conquer’s mother got what was coming to them. It was great to see the relationship between Owen and Conquer last throughout all of the foolishness that they had to encounter from everyone around them, especially their families. The ending to this series ended well for all of the couples and Conquer has become another one of my book babes. Great read!
This series was really good. I really love that the Authoress writes full and detailed stories. It gives the readers an all around point of view from every character that she uses. In my opinion, she took her time with the different events that happened throughout the series. Some of us were anticipating what was going to happen but we got a lot of good reading in between!! Loved it girl.
