Allen Isaacman is the Regents Professor of History at the University of Minnesota. He is the founder of the African History program at the University and the co-founder of the MacArthur Interdisciplinary Program on Global Change, Sustainability and Justice.
Does not age well. Its one of those books that wishes communism worked perfectly, and claims everything is just perfect under enlightened FRELIMO rule the claims it makes about the happy collectivized peasants now appears to be blatant propaganda nonsense, the whole book seems to be based on a pile of crap
