Death, Dessert, and Divided Loyalties

Hazel’s excited to discover a new neighbor living along her remote, tree-lined street...until the artist’s estranged husband ends up dead in the road in front of their houses. She doesn’t want to believe the sweet and quiet young woman could be capable of murder, but mounting evidence points in her direction.

In an effort to learn the identity of the murderer, Peter challenges Hazel to a battle of the wits, pitting his police procedures and science against her mystical witchy ways. Hazel’s determined to prove the woman’s innocence and willingly accepts the consequences of the fiery flames of truth to discover answers.

She’ll have to fend off the persuasive antics of star-crossed kitties in love, learn new Feng Shui techniques, and suffer through asking her mother for help before she can solve the case.

It’s All Sixes is the sixth book in the Teas and Temptations Cozy Mystery series. If you like lighthearted paranormal mysteries with a fun romance like those written by Angela Pepper and Natalie Summers, then you’ll love Cindy Stark’s mystical adventures!

Hazel has found a new neighbor who happens to be an artist as well. She is shy and doesn’t like to be around a lot of people. She invites Anya over the next day as she is all alone now. Anya's estranged husband has been found dead on their street. Rumors begin to circulate and Anya becomes the prime suspect. Now Hazel is in the middle of another murder and Peter is not going to like this one bit.

I love this series. Hazel is cute to read about and she tries her best to only use magic when she needs it. Peter is a great man and takes her for what she is. These two are funny to read about at times and there are some laugh out loud moments. A great series.

Deceiving the senses

She has come across a neighbour that she has never seen before. A quiet, introvert painter who keeps herself to herself in a little cottage inside the woods. They tentatively make friends and she is the one that the other runs too when she makes a horrific discovery. Her estranged husband lying in a pool of blood not far from her cottage. All the clues found seem to point at her, especially her mother-in-law who blatantly calls her a murderer. But she thinks the woman is innocent. Can she prove it? On top of that the local coven is split as to whether they'll accept her or not. Until her ex tells the of her family history. What will the outcome be? The plot was okay but it seems to have lost some of the sharpness of earlier books.

Happy Endings

When Hazel’s neighbour discovers her estranged husband dead outside her house, Hazel is determined to prove she didn’t do it.
Meanwhile, Hazel has some issues with the town coven to deal with...

This is the sixth book in the series, and should definitely be read as part of the series, it does not quite stand alone.
There are some truly good things that happen in this book, and it’s an enjoyable way to spend a few hours!

Brilliant Series

It’s All Sixes (Teas and Temptations Book 6) by Cindy Stark. A man is murdered almost outside his estranged wife’s house and Hazel’s house. The wife is instantly the suspect but Hazel is convinced she is innocent and sets out to prove it. The actual murderer is a surprise and the last person you’d think off.

Don't stop writing

I'm not ready to stop reading about these characters, so don't stop writing about them anytime soon. Just keep these characters going and let us grow with them forever.

Hazel has bought the house that once belonged to her ancestor. In her back yard she notices someone staring at her from the woods. Turns out to be her neighbor Anya. After a few minutes they start hitting it off and Hazel invites her to come by the next morning. Anya is frantic when she arrives because she saw her estranged husband dead in the road and thinks the townsfolk will think she is the murderer.

There aren't really any other suspects, but Hazel can't believe her new friend is guilty of murder. She does some investigating of her own and shares her findings with her boyfriend, the chief of police Peter Parrish. The sharing goes both ways.

Some interesting reveals in the witchy side of Stonebridge, and of course more Hazel and Peter romance.

Fast fun read, I read it in one sitting. I suggest that you read the books in order because besides the self contained mystery the series builds on the previous books.

Hazel has just settled into her new home. A home once owned by her ancestral grandmother Clarabelle. Clarabelle's life was much different than Hazel's. Even though being a witch now did not compare with being a witch in the late 1600's, you still had to be careful.
Hazel never expected her day to begin quite the way it had. She woke up, enjoyed the quiet morning and waited to meet for tea with her neighbor Anya, before heading to her tea shop Teas and Temptations. But when Anya came knocking, Hazel never expected to find herself entangled in another murder. Just her luck. What would Peter, the Chief of Police and Hazel's boyfriend have to say about that?
Anya's estranged husband has been found dead on their street. Rumors begin to circulate and Anya becomes the prime suspect. Hazel is not convinced. She believes someone else may have motive to murder Isaac, so she gets to work solving this murder...with Peter's help of course.
Hazel is a kind, gentle soul spreading love and positivity to her community. She's also a witch who has the ability to see the negative in people. It's a secret she must keep to insure her safety.
Peter is strong, capable and down to earth. He loves his job and always tries to do the right thing. That's why Hazel loves him. Peter has fully accepted who Hazel is, but the coven in town hasn't. Hazel has her own thoughts about the coven and she knows she needs to keep those thoughts to herself...for the moment.
