Christa Upton was a fun-loving mother of three wonderful children. She and her husband homeschooled their children in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.
She started writing her first mystery (The Library Thief) at the age of 13. (Her parents are glad she finally finished it 27 years later; at last they know who the library thief is! Her father designed the book cover for her, and her mother encouraged and helped edit.)
Christa liked: children, cats, quilts, sunsets, fields of wildflowers, horses, rainbows, photography, blogging, music, dance, bare feet, and chocolate.
Major, long-term illness hit Christa around October 2008, but God has brought many good things out of this. When Christa was feeling well enough, she liked to cook, sew, play piano, and explore the Black Hills.
On May 31, 2024, God called Christa home at a "too young" age of 54. She no longer suffers from the long-term illness that took her from this earth. Instead, she is dancing and singing in the presence of God with other loved ones that have passed into eternity.
I have chronic asthma and allergies not just multiple chemical sensitivities. Everything in this book was comforting beyond what I thought it would be.
