Amazing read with Great funny characters and twist at The end That made me almost laugh. JJ is one Full character That loves gaming and Has a Great friend in The game. There is Also wedding coming and she DOESN'T know Her mate! What will happen when she will meet Her gaming partner in real Life? There will ale I appear character from other book in this Series. Which was Great addition to it.
Bound Soul is another brilliant book by Laura Greenwood and A.X. Tape.
The development of the characters and the beautiful ending, have again captured my heart.
JJ’s internal monologue throughout the book is hilarious, and on occasion it ends up being spoken out loud.
This book can be read without reading the other books in Twin Soul and Dragon Soul series. However, I’d definitely recommend reading them, not only because they all slightly interrelate, but because they are fantastic and well worth the read.
Janet Jane aka JJ-E2 is 24 years old and her parents have set her up in an arranged marriage with someone she doesn't know, her mother is doing everything she can to try and make sure her daughter is ready to become a bride. She is also a gamer and she has several friends she likes to play with and one is a man she likes and she knows him by Pete3 and they are great friends and partners online only. She takes the initiative and asks him to meet her at a Dragon bar and when they met she found out that his real name was Porter they were very attracted to each other but she didn't tell him that she was getting married they got along well but then she ran away and the next time they met they got drunk and spent the night upstairs in one of the rooms in the bar and Porter seem to realized something when he found out JJ was short for Janet Jane. This their story, the characters are very interesting and the storyline intriguing. I was given a copy from Bookfunnel without obligations. I am providing an honest review.
JJ's arranged marriage is in two weeks. Two weeks! It's the last thing she wants but as an Earth Dragon, it's the way it's always been done. On her 25th birthday, she will be married to a stranger. So when the opportunity arises, she does the only rebellious action of her life. She plans a meeting with her online gaming partner Pete. The only man she's ever had a crush on. She needs to see one way or the other if what she feels for him is at all real before her marriage day. Only she can't decide which outcome she wants, which is scarier; if she really does like him or if it's all in her imagination.
Bound Soul is a story of traditions, a controlling mother, a meaningless job and a young woman desperate to escape from all of them. It's a story of friendship, taking chances, and falling in love. JJ and Porter are adorable. This sweet romance has a sense of humor.
Fantastic story! Arranged marriages are tradition and not something JJ is looking forward to. As an earth dragon her parents hold the secret to her future. JJ is not a strong character. She is funny, but she has no drive or gumption. Her mother treats her like she is a tween and she just accepts it. She has to account for every penny and every hour of her day. When she’s gaming it’s different. I loved how Zara was there for her during her date with “Peter” and gave her a friend to talk to. Marcus is just too funny and during JJ’s freak-out he was able to make her laugh. Peter was so sweet and they hit it off when they finally did meet in real life. Shame both of them were to be married soon. I think her mom was right about the fates knowing who her perfect mate would be. I didn’t like how she so easily just let her mother control everything. The ending was superb. Dragon Soul series is so good, you really need to check it out. I volunteered to read an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
Earth dragon shifters marry when the younger dragon reaches his / her 25th birthday without having met their mate until then, although they are matched at birth of the younger dragon. JJ is such a younger dragon and we follow her life from 2 weeks before the wedding to her birthday/wedding day. JJ is a free spirit, a modern dragon and hates the tradition of arranged marriage to a stranger and rebels in her own way. Bound Soul is a lovely story of insecurities, hope for love, feelings of beeing caught up in seemingly meaningless traditions One cannot help but feel for and with JJ, hoping for the best. JJ is awesome. She is a slightly awkward gaming Earth Dragons. Earth Dragons have arranged marriages and don’t find out who their mates are until their 25th birthday. JJ’s birthday is approaching, but what is a girl to do when she has a crush on her gaming partner that she has never met. This is a sweet romance in the Twin Souls universe. It can be read as a stand-alone, but there are cameos from some other characters in the Twin Souls universe, which just enrich the story for those who have read Torn Soul and Fifth Soul.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is, I think, my favourite Dragon Soul book thus far, I loooooved it!!!
The story follows JJ as she approaches her 25th birthday and, following the rules of her heritage, her impending wedding to an unwanted groom she has never before met.
Overbearing rule-bound parents, a forbidden attraction, a job she hates, and a game she loves keep JJ going in this sweet feel-good story. I reeeeeeally recommend this charming and wonderful tale!!
This second book in the Dragon Soul series was an excellent story that I really enjoyed. This time it was a M/F relationship, and I liked the dynamics shown in all the different relationships in the book - between JJ and her parents, between her and Porter, and between her and her friends. And with the tension building until the wedding... and the outcome? Fabulous. Highly recommended reading for all shifter story fans. NB I received a complimentary copy of this book, but I always give an HONEST review based wholly on my own opinions
JJ is turning 25, and like all dragon shifters, this will be when she finds out who her mate is - and marries. She has met Pete on line in a game of Realms and Rebels - and then arranges to meet him in a club. She finds out his name is Porter, and things sizzle, but she is bound to marry as her family dictates - no choice of groom for her. What will happen? Will she run away and follow her heart? Or will she follow the dictates of her family? Great story with an awesome ending

I love the gamer aspect of this series so far, being that I am a gamer and know just how close a person can get to someone through the game. I loved JJ's internal monologue throughout the entire book, she is rather funny with some of it and I know that I have said a few things she has at times. The character development throughout the book was perfect and that ending was swoon worthy! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
I really enjoyed this story, dragon shifters are great! JJ is an Earth dragon so her marriage is arranged for her and she has no idea who her husband will be. Living with her overbearing mother she likes to escape into her gamer world, and play with her gamer friend Pete, but what will happen when she is married?
This is a clean Romance. It was beauty written with a great storyline that held my attention throughout and I did not want to put it down!
An arranged dragon marriage with the bride and groom unknown to each other ??? Got to be worth some flaming temper tantrums ??? A short( ish ) sweet romance with lots of fun and teenage rebellions ( even when they are not teenagers ) a few dragons getting overheated but altogether a fun read

Another magnificent book by this author. I love dragons and reading this just makes me wish I was one.
Arranged marriage. Old fashioned. Tradition. Can you marry someone you've never met because it's tradition? It's the way of your kind?
JJ is due to marry in two weeks and she's not happy at all. Porter is also waiting to be married to his mate. They meet for drinks and the rest is history.
Very easy read, short but worthy. Loving characters that you can connect with.
I always enjoy books from Laura Greenwood. The writing is always so captivating and this one fits the bill. This story is a different take on dragons as there are different types of dragons such as fire, air, earth etc. What I loved about this story was the way the characters grew on you. Overall I really enjoyed this story and highly recommend the series. I received the book from booksprout and I voluntarily read and gave my review.
I have read the first book and I enjoyed it but this book was so much better for me. Her JJ coming of age and her 25 birthday coming up means she will be married of but she is marrying a unwanted groom one she has never met before. She has a job she does not like, a Forbidden attraction and a game she loves but will she be able to stand up for herself and do as she chooses. Good read. I can’t wait for more.

A snarky girl with a passion for gaming loves a guy whom she is not fated to marry. The problems
1. She is not human but a dragon 2. Once dragon matches are made they can't be broken 3. She doesn't know who her fated match is
A light-hearted story that will warm your heart and make you smile. Laughter, smiles and hope should be the 3 mantras of this book. Beautifully written.

Once bound together it should never be broken. She does not want to th uk about her arranged marriage so she run away to meet her gaming crush. Will she be forced back? Will she go back? Will she stay with her crush? Will love find her? See what will happen

I truly enjoy this world created by the authors. The look at different dragon cultures is fun and entertaining. This book was a fun, quick read. I enjoyed the story, although I felt that the overall theme was sort of predictable. The writing was fun, and JJ's sassiness made the ride worth-while.
I recieved this ARC copy for an honest review. Cute Dragon shifter story with good characters, uncertainty for the future and love. Both these authors always work together well and always delight we the readers.
This is a sweet little story but I thought JJ’s behaviour was pretty immature. It was also easy to guess what was going to happen but it was a nice read for an hour or so.

I really enjoyed this book. JJ really makes you feel for her, and Porter is a hot sweetheart. Loving the series so far, and the diversity in the relationships :)
The second book in the Dragon Soul series it is a short story of 82 pages, I liked reading this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is book one in the Dragon Soul series. It is a well written, suspenseful story full of arranged marriages, gaming, romance and great character development. Love that JJ and Porter met in the online gaming world. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
