Silver and Gold!!
I so enjoyed this story! LaVerne Thompson is like the Dragon Whispers and her stories about them are awesome and model so very real. I loved book 1 and was stoked when this one dropped and rushed to get it. I was not disappointed.
Ahhh the tale of Talon and Arianna, destined truemates and brethren. Talon has been charged with protecting the Earth realm by his father the Dark Lord and he has done so. But in the midst of this, evil breaks free and is on a path of destruction. At the same time, Arianna is dreaming of a man that lo rd for and protects her while to ing her the desires of her heart. Then evil happens and wreaks havoc.
Talon finally meets Arianna and their love and lives become intertwined and slowly grows. As Talon awakens her dragon (🐉) their connection strengthens and her love to him begins to grow. They then embark on the mission of chasing down evil and all manner of things happen. to find out what happens next you need to buy the book and fall in love with the Brethren and their mates.

Definitely Worth The Wait!!!
Book of the Brethren was so epically worth the wait. This book centers on Talon and his journey with his firsts who he was able to awaken and calling forth others to be trained as well, let's not forget he's also searching for his mate who's been able to evade him so far. Arieanna has no choice but to seek out the help of Talon once her family is killed by the Betrayer/Arwan and his accomplices. While she's on the run she stumbles across help which she wasn't seeking for but will truly need. It's a race to see who will reach Arianna first will it be Talon or will it be the Betrayer/Arwan. This book was just as great as the first one in the series with Talon's father Draakar. You will be able to explore new worlds, experience a gamut of emotions from the highs and lows but you'll love every minute of it. You'll have to read on to see if the Betrayer/Arwan and his accomplices are dealt with. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend this book as well as book 1 if you haven't already read it!!!

This is the long awaited Book 2 in the Story of Brethren Series. I love how the author takes the reader back in this world as if they never left. I also love the development of Talon and Arianna's powers as they face a powerful threat!! Can't wait for Book 3!
