A beautiful collection of stories from the everyday life of Dr Sudha Murty. The stories and the people in them are so real that one can actually touch them and share in their smiles and/or tears. I think that's what make her stories so compelling and powerful.

The book was magical - effortlessly transported me from 60's - 21's century. Some of the stories I couldn't help laughing out loud while some are so heartfelt, that tears rolled down my cheeks. Her infectious simplicity, stern but affable outlook was a charm all the way. The book introduces us to different shades and hues of the author. One thing that stands out clearly is her strong urge to make a difference in this world and indomitable spirit to see it through.
With this book she became the "most beloved teacher of life for all of us." Best..
