Zhang Yiwei

Zhang Yiwei was born in 1987 and is currently an author signed to the Shanghai Writers’ Association. She studied philosophy as an undergraduate and literature as a postgraduate at Fudan University. She is current pursuing a doctoral degree at the National Chengchi University. She was recipient of the 38th Hong Kong Youth Literary Award for novels, the 33rd China Times Literature Award, and First Prize in the sixth New Concept Composition Competition. Zhang has published the novels The Night You Didn’t Know About, Next Stop, Xidan, Woken From a Dream; and the short story collections Time, Please Wait, and Youth’s Forbidden Games.
