This was an unhappy purchase. I bought, read and enjoyed a Mythbusters book last year, so was looking forward to more of the same. What I didn't realise was just how much more of the same it would be.
Essentially, the first book I read was a compilation volume and so 2/3 of this book, I'd already read. The other third was a revisiting of an earlier mystery, which was at least novel.
However, the tale had little credibility and I ended up feeling as if I'd wasted my time entirely.
The 2 stars isn't a reflection of me having read 2 of the 3 tales already, but of the poor quality of the one that I hadn't read. I still maintain that they were 20 years ahead of their time and this would make a cracking podcast.
