I chose this rating because this is a really good book. What a good set of books. I really enjoyed all of the characters. Especially their uncle he was a sleepy little fella. The Covington boys they were billionaires, they had to keep their father's empire running after he passed. There was maybe one that didn't want to probably all three of them didn't want to join their father's company but they knew they would eventually. Due to unforeseen circumstances they had to join the company quicker than they expected. However this was a great set of books. They met their significant others fell in love, but you know they had to go through a few ups and downs to get their relationship where needed to be. Great read! Oh there was a lot of romance going on in this set of books. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
Pass...Pass...Pass...Just an example of why you should find another book. I only read the first story and skipped many pages but still became weary of the information being repeated so often. The internal dialogue was so lengthy I wanted to scream. I persevered to the end of the first story because I wanted to give it a chance to change my mind. Cami was being sued by her ex for custody of their child Madison and Cami reasoned that her ex was a violent drunk which was not good for her child. Having this opinion about his alcohol problem certainly didn't stop her drinking all the time. If I were trying to retain custody of my child from an alcoholic I would not be drinking at every turn in the story.
The first three Covington Brother novels reflect the importance of family, even if you're a billionaire. Bill, Steven and Patrick are gentlemen, well educated, handsome, rich and stubborn. They are known men around town bachelor's and their racy reputations precede them. Each story reflects a brother finding his true love, but managing to make things complicated in his own special way. Lauren, Emma and Elizabeth are strong, decisive women, not cowed or overcome by these.bossy but sexy men. Each man has to learn from his mistakes and that seems truly genetic. Lovely stories with enough conflict, suspense and romance to keep the reader entertained.
All three stories were really great. But, I really enjoyed the last book most with Patrick and Liz's story. It was really well written and really demonstrated just how complicated and complex relationships can be when someone feels deceived and communication is lacking. I really liked the way Pat,, and Liz's relationship developed, especially when Liz learned, it's more important to have a good man than a rich man. Except for the deceit, and I get why Pat did it, he was a keeper in my book! Alpha male through and through!
These are the typical stories of average women meeting and falling in love with billionaires who have either lied to them or there's a miscommunication. The three stories follow 3 brothers in their quest for love. My only issue with the series is the writer has copied the same gimmick of having the women find out about a lie or they misunderstood something and each woman does the exact thing - block the phone call, and run to another state or city. Then the men have to find them and get them back. Once is okay but its predictable in every single story.
You get three great romances in this set of books! You see what it takes for these brothers to fall and secure a happy relationships with women that are just as passionate in the workplace and family as they are. Love doesn't come without working for it. They all had their work cut out for them to guarantee their happiness and a strong father that instilled in them a code they never broke FCF. Lots of travel, sex, tears and determination for these men to to get their HEA!!!
This is my first time reading this author and i must say that I enjoyed her style. The one think these brothers have in common apart from their last name is how clueless it comes to women and dating. With that said, it was a thoroughly enjoyable series. If I had to choose one it would be Patrick and Liz story, don't get me wrong all of them was good, but it was just something about Patrick that made it extra special.
Billionaire brothers and playboys. Steamy reads although the plot lines are all somewhat similar with spoiled playboys used to women falling at their feet. When they finally meet women of substance, between their arrogance and egos - they manage to screw it up. The women are sometimes a bit annoying but all 3 are strong enough to walk away rather than settle. The family dynamics are engaging and I'll read the stories of the other siblings and extended family.
This was a good series and I enjoyed every book. I like the twists to the stories also. Well played. I was disappointed in each of the women for running away before they confronted the guys. To bad they didn't, it would have saved them from all the hassles. I would have liked to know what happened to Monica and Blaine. To bad it wasn't in the last book in this series. Thank you.
For the most part I enjoyed reading all three of these books. My only real complaint was the way the women in the books were portrayed as being the injuries party in the relationships but in reality it was always the men that were wronged. The author barely acknowledged this fact.
So enjoyed the sweetness, deliriously delish stories of the Covington Family. Even though the stories are separate they interconnect with other family members. Delightful read. It's length may turn others off but look at it this way. 800 plus pages can be daunting but it will worth the time and no searching for a new book for at least for 2 or 3 days.
Well written with super heroes and painful heroines. Only downside to reading them one after the other there are scenes that become repetitive however my curiosity is better satisfied this way. They are stand alone but I suggest you start with book one and go on from there you will derive far more pleasure that way. 4.5 Stars from me, wonder what you will decide?
I love series novels and this one is one of the best. Steven and Emma's book (#2) was my favorite. So often I found his remarks absolutely hilarious. Well written stories plus steamy sex with an added dose of humor makes for a great read. Just settle back and enjoy Erin Swann's work!
These 3 romances are sweet, great couples, and interesting story line. The Covington brothers come from a wealthy family while their love interests do not. In each romance, however, she leaves him before allowing him to explain the real situation! I felt the females lacked true love for their partners! Good stories!
These books were not only very sexy, romantic stories but had intrigue and suspense woven in as well. Well written and made you hope the author wound keep going after each one.
This novel had a lot of good moments, a lot of sweet moments, and a lot of amazing moments that just brought a warm smile to my face; however, there were the times were it would lull and I would think about placing it down in favor of another, but in the end I'm glad I stuck it out and finished it.
I have enjoyed the family dynamics, along with the comradorie and loyalty with these stories. The romance have been entertaining. I wish the stories were not so similar, in the telling. All in all it was a good read.
I love how these guys are all billionaires but the can be down to earth at times. And I think the women make them this way. It was a joy to read this boxset.
Well written with great characters. Erin Swann knows romance and how to write it. Do yourself a favor and get both boxed sets of the Covington Billionaires so you can jump right in on book four.
I've already read the Benson story's now reading these they are all the same types book 3 was like a merger between book 1& 2.... They are far too similar need to be more diverse in the storys. It's was like deja vu
