Daddy Boss: A Single Dad Boss Romance

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Alice and Vince. They met at a doctor's office when the doctor was looking for a little girl's father and she started to cry. Alice was going into another examination room and she stopped to comfort the child while the doctor yelled at the child's father for stepping out for a phone call. Vince is attracted to Alice immediately and offers to take her to dinner in order to thank her for comforting his daughter. Alice agrees when his daughter begs her to come. They spend a great evening together, but when Vince tries to get Alice into bed, she leaves and tells him she can't be a casual hookup. Vince can't forget her and goes to see her and tells her he can't stop thinking about her. When Alice arrives at work on Monday, she is shocked to see Vince is her new boss. They still want to be with each other, but because of working together, they could both lose their jobs. I like this story. I like how Vince knew Alice was different and wanted to be with her. Alice and Vince both had an instant love connection. Good one.

A GREAT short! Rich characters, worth the price of admission!
Another wonderful story with BABIEEEEEEESS! Little Raina is the young princess in her Daddy’s eyes. So, when Alice steps in to help calm and protect his princess, Daddy Vince knows that Alice is different and someone he wants to get to know. The intense attraction they have for each other is palpable and described so well, that his reader could genuinely feel it. In “DADDY BOSS” I loved how Author Scarlet Rose built not only the sensual tension between Alice and Vince, but that “love at first sight” kind of calm amidst the storm! Even for a quickie short-story, like “DADDY BOSS,” Scarlet Rose offers rich characters and enough unexpected plot twists to keep readers glued to the pages until the very end! A great afternoon read for that staycation by the pool! I was given an ARC of “DADDY BOSS” to prepare this honest, voluntary review with a strong recommendation to buy! I just don’t give shorts more than 4 stars, but if it had been longer . . . It’s GOOD! Happy pages! 😉

Good insta romance
The story is pretty good although it's short. It's well written with good characters and despite its simplicity, I didn't let go before the end of the book.
Alice meets Vince one evening when she goes to a medical appointment. She helps a child whose father (Vince) is late to pick her up at the pediatrician's. When the father returns, he invites Alice. Their attraction is immediate, but she prefers to leave home before giving in.
The next day, she discovers that her former boss is gone and the new is none other than Vince. She works in a man's world and her career would be over if anyone knew they knew each other.

The two main male and female characters meet and there is an immediate connection for both of them. The main male character is very forthright and just cuts to the chase and states his wishes. This proves a little disconcerting to the main female character. The main male character is persistent and her walls start to crumble down. Their romance is fraught with drama and angst but again, the main male character heads on issues and achieves a positive resolution to matters. The two do end up with a happy ever after.
A lovely romance that is a very quick read. :)

This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. This book is the first book of Scarlet Ellis’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline easy to read. I loved how Alice and Vincent met. I liked how good Alice was with Vincent’s daughter, Reina.
The chemistry between Alice and Vincent was clear to see and I really liked them together.
I wasn’t a fan of Nancy at first but when Vincent confronted her and she opened up, started to like her. I liked that even after the way Nancy had treated her, Alice was open to being friends with her.
I liked this entire story but the ending/one year later was super sweet.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice read.

Wow, this story will take you on a journey. Emotional, lots of drama, suspense, and chemistry that's off the charts. A single dad, an adorable five-year-old daughter, a taboo romance with the boss. Throw in some office drama, some gossip, a little scandal and you have a great story. Well written with likable characters and an entertaining story. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review. No cliffhanger and an HEA. You'll love Vince and Alice's story.

This was a quick fun read...sexy and cute. I liked Alice and Vince and little Raina. There was nice chemistry there though the beginning was a bit...odd??...not sure what word I want here. The whole Naomi thing was even odder, but it all worked out.

Must read single father taboo by Scarlet Rose!

Decent story
Daddy Boss is a pretty good story, though abrupt and cliché in parts. I liked the overall story, but feel like it could use some development work. It feels rushed, almost trite in parts, as a result. With added detail, and character development, this could be a great read.

I received this book as an Advanced Review Copy but I'm voluntarily leaving this review. Good book. It's a book about a single dad (Vince) who meets a lonely lady (Alice) at his daughter's Dr. appointment. The appointment didn't go well but the connection between the three was formed. Gotta give this one a read. It's short but sweet with a hea!

Vince is raising his daughter after her mother walked out on them. Alice met them during a visit to the hospital for her physical. Scarlet brings their story to life and had me hooked from the beginning.

Vince and Alice meet at the hospital when Vince's daughter Raina has some treatment and befriends Alice while looking for her father. Alice and Vince kiss that first evening and then find each other at work the next day when Vince takes over as CEO. The relationship between them develops quickly (too quickly to be believed for me) and they make love in Vince's office and get caught. Why didn't they lock the door or use any protection? Nice touch as Vince manages to protect Alice from dismissal. Sweet ending too.
