Book number 17 is a keeper. Best one in the series, action-packed from the beginning to the Any hits it out of the park again! Just wish his Russian friends were there reunited with him. I know the series is coming to an end and well it should, it should go out on a high note. Anybody who would like this type of blood started from the beginning because you will be left out and the good side of that is you have a

This book is the best so far, full of action adventure and plot twist. Characters get reunited, at least some of them, I wish they were all reunited in this book. I know the series is coming to an end and well it should, it’ should go out on a high note. If you’re reading this review and thinking about reading this book you should start at the beginning you have a lot to catch up. And thank you to the author for bringing back Martinez, she is one of my favorite characters. I suggest anybody who read reviews and is looking for a excellent series to read read this One.

This rating is for the series

I have been reading zombie apocalypse books for a while and Cataclysm was just a recommendation from my kindle. Not expecting anything special just more of the same I was pleasantly surprised. I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I read the entire series (17 books) in less than 2 weeks. You never know where you're going to find the characters from chapter to chapter and the whole virus, nuke, zombie outbreak was fantastic. The only thing that I could have done without was the same people were always in trouble. But I got over that because overall this is a non-stop, action packed story. Can't wait for the next book. I would recommend this series to anyone who likes reading zombie apocalypse and I can guarantee you will love the twist and turns this story has.

Every book gets better and better

What a ride! If your reading this and have not read books 1-16 stop and pick up book 1. You won’t be disappointed. I swear every book Dirk Patton writes just gets better. The twists and turns and loss of those we’ve come to love make this series more than just a book. It’s a world you can delve into a not come back from until the book is done. The series is cohesive and the cliff hangers are terrifying. This is one of my favorite series and I can’t wait for the next installment.

Time

It threw me for a loop when you added the time machine. I wasn't sure I liked that. I had to go back and read 36 after I finished 16. Yes they were stand alone books but they needed each other. I am impressed with book 17. Mavis is a delightful addition to the cast. Interesting concept of some one with the virus becoming president. I like the female spys reason for turning over the flash drive. It seems there will always be people willing to hurt others for power and money.

Still got it goin' on.

17 books later and this fantastic journey is still exciting. Dirk Patton is my number one Indy author and in my eyes will always be. The man can write a great tale. I thought by now this series would be all written out and boring. But book after book keeps getting better. It seems there's still plenty to tell and write about in this story of the end of the world, Major Chase, and a new chapter for mankind. So please Mr. Patton, keep writing and keeping the story going. Every book is its own little story of courage. I'm looking forward to the next book.

Perfect!

Dirk Patton is a huge step above most indie writers. This series reads like a best seller. This book in the series was no filler. The plot twists and turns keeping the reader glued to the pages. John and company are too important to readers to not stay tuned. 17 was one of my favorites! Ready to see the last battle to end the Russian threat! Loved reading the pages when Packard cleaned house! Loved the whole book! Fantastic series!

Great book!!!

This was a great book with all of most former characters. This a tale leading up to the conspiracy to the end of it. The only issue I had with it was when I got to that final page and kept trying to keep using the forward in my kindle, to only look down and see 100%. If I had the author here I would tell him he was a Jack ass for always leaving me hanging. I know that is the nature of the beast(uh author) , but jeeze!!!

Outstanding!!!!

You can NOT stop right here. What am I going to do for another 6 months while you write the next one. This was so awesome. I won't give anything away, but if you haven't read a zombie series with a sexy Major and a heart stopping stripper (doctor), you need this one in you library. Each book keeps you waiting for the next and most of us re-read from the very beginning when the next one is coming. Try it, you'll like it!!!!!

Awesome zombie romp.

As always a great read that ends too quickly.
You have to read rhe whole series: 1 they are great. 2 this one references a lot of back story. I don't know how he fit it all in: Army Spec ops, Australian spec ops, Seal teams, Dog, John Chase, Russians, Marines, submariners, Naval aviator in a futuristic hypersonic transport aircraft, a 'monster', oh yeah and zombies.

Great installment

I have been on this ride for a long time, now. I have enjoyed each book in the series...and the few not exactly IN the series...and this one is no exception. Great writing, happy to see some returning characters, and though I am sad to see this series come to an end I can’t wait for the last book. Great job, Dirk.

Best apocalyptic series ever

This 5 star. I've been anxious for each book in this V Plague series and not for a moment have i been bored or disappointed. These characters remain with me after each book. If you like this genre or are looking for something different start at book one. You will be so glad that you did.

Excellent as always

This book was a little more wordy and less action. I love the way the author brings back his characters. I'm on to book 18. Thank you Dirk Patton for great imagination!

LOVED every book. Actually cried when my favorite characters died. So glad Mr Patton didn't kill " dog " off. Highly recommend this series. Can't wait to read more by this great author.

Moving on

Well, giving todays attitude on the Russians. It’s totally plausible as to what they are capable of doing. Anyhow, the admiral is back in action and Igor and Irina are on the beach. The major is now a colonel and shit is about to get real.
