Will Reavis is the last man standing. All of his lifelong friends are settling down, and seem nauseatingly happy with their significant others. Even his little sister Jules recently married, taking off with Will’s best friend.

While Dylan and Jules are away on their honeymoon, they leave their penthouse apartment and expensive vehicles in Will’s care. After a night on the town with his new wingman, criminal defense attorney Joe Montgomery, Will meets the woman of his dreams.

Knowing a beautiful woman like Lacy would never go for a normal, nothing-special guy like him for more than a one-night stand, Will let’s her believe that all of Dylan’s riches are his own.

Lacy Pierce is newly single and not looking to settle down anytime soon. Why would she do something so foolish, when she knows how things always end? Her own father had affairs on her mother, and her famous football playing ex-boyfriend Zack Bradford cheated on her repeatedly during the year they were together.

Will seems like Zack’s opposite, and even better, he looks … safe. When she finds out the cute, unassuming, intelligent guy is actually the first man that can show her the wild passion she’s been missing out on, she reconsiders her no commitment rule. That is until she finds out Will has lied to her, and only sees her as a one-night fling.

Fate eventually steps in to bring the two back together.

When Lacy agrees to help out in her father’s law firm during the summer, she has no idea that the young attorney she’ll be working for is none other than Joe Montgomery, Will’s good friend. She’s also surprised to find out that Will is actually the IT guy for her father’s firm, when their paths cross once again.

After Lacy and Will get hot and heavy in public one night, they not only end up with criminal charges, Lacy’s father puts an end to idea of them continuing a relationship. He threatens to have Will, Joe, and Will’s friend and Joe’s assistant, Jess, all fired.

Unwilling to risk the consequences, Lacy tries to stop thinking about Will. Her hot new boss makes for a pretty nice distraction, and the two pass the time teasing and flirting with each other. Things begin to get complicated with Lacy and Joe, especially when it becomes clear that her and Will aren’t over.

Will does a little soul-searching and decides that he’ll do whatever it takes to have the woman of his dreams … even if that means indulging in some of her naughtier fantasies! But all relationships are fragile, and when Lacy finds out that the only two men she’s ever trusted have both conspired to betray her, it’ll take a tragedy to help her see that the ones we love occasionally deserve our forgiveness. Lacy will also find out the hard way that her wild and foolish decisions will eventually catch up with her, impacting all the men in her life.

This book can be read as a stand-alone, but includes the appearance of characters from the other books in the series. Therefore the preferred reading order is:

All In: Double or Nothing
All In: Betting on a Full House
All In: Calling His Bluff
All In: Playing the Fool

There is a HEA in this 90k word book, but fair warning, there's a cliffhanger in the plot that continues into the next two books in the series, Playing to Win and Raising the Stakes.

Confused

I like the series, but the way she treated Will was sad. Having three some is okay. I just did not get how she could screw Joe all the time, much more than she did her own boyfriend, and turn around and get mad because he watched her. In my opinion she really wanted Joe more than Will, but Joe wanted Katie. She screwed any and everyone, but got angry and betrayed because he watched on a video. She was upset with that, but not having a foursome. Confused.

I really thought a lot about this review. Not because the book wasn't good. If you start reading Lane Hart you will found out most of her books are good, well written, different. No, that was not the problem.
The issue was I never liked the girl. No matter how hard I tried, I never got her.
The boy ( bous I should have said) is great. Will, is really sweet and in love. Joe, the other one is also great, but totally "another kind" of guy. There's another guy that is also part of this story, and he was ok, too. Soooo, guys were nice/hot/ good each one in their own way!
The story has lot of sex, yes. And really hot scenes.
As I said at the beginning this is a good book, maybe not my favorite story. My heart is all with Will!
One thing, it is not an standalone, like the others in this series.

I'm disappointed to be quite honest. This is the first time I really hated the heroine.

I like the series and the author but the way she treated Will was just sad and cruel. This book follows the Story of Will and Lacy. This is book was painful for me to read just because of the heroine.

A selfish girl and really nice guy that falls so in love with her (and is such a doormat!) that he lets her sleep with whoever she wants (even up to 4 guys at once). She sleeps with one guy more than she does her boyfriend. Yuck!

I really liked this book until I got to the part where Lacy got pissed at Will for watching her with Joe on his security camera. Really?!?! You don’t bother telling Will you were sleeping with Joe and some other guy and it’s only about the sex but you’re upset he watched you having it on camera? What the?! Then she adds in her ex and I just stopped reading. I can’t stand her at all. She really is a fool.

Warning: Cheating with a Side of Cheating

I gave this one 2 stars simply because I love Lane Hart and have loved the first three books in this series but this one did not work for me like the first three. While it is still Lane Hart’s great writing style and she does have an incredible flair for telling a story, this story I could have gone a long way without reading. There is one thing that I just can’t tolerate in life and find it just as repulsive in stories, in particular romance stories, cheating. This book is full of cheating. I could not stand Lacy. All she did was use Will and his feelings for her over and over again. I really liked Will in his sisters story but in this one I felt he was weak and way to forgiving of a woman that didn’t show him the same feelings in return. This was a toxic relationship and not something I can celebrate or give 5 stars even if it was written by an author I really like reading.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is book four in the series but can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first three books and I wasn't lost but after reading I definitely want to go back and read them.
This book has m/f, m/f/m, m/m/f/m & light m/m. Yes that's lots of M's in the equation and it was totally hot.
Will pretends to be a rich bachelor and hooks up with the girl of his dreams. Only to have her get upset with him and storm out of his life.
Lacy thought he was different but he's just like all the other guys. Jerks, that's all they are. She realizes she lost an earring at Will's so she heads back to his apartment. Only when she shows up she finds out that Will lied to her on several occasions. Hoping to never see him again, she starts her new job and guess who shows up to hook up her computer.
This was a really good read with lots of steam. It does leave you hanging but not in a bad way. Just ready for the next book.

Well Playing the Fool is an example of liking an author's work but not liking a story that she wrote. Will was one of my favorite characters in the series and I was hoping that he would find the perfect partner to love him for the great understated guy that he is. Lacy would not have been my choice for him. I have no problem with a couple exploring their sexuality but Lacy seemed to be very self centered about her desires and not thinking at all about Will's needs. This story has a lot of sex in it with multiple partners for Lacy which didn't work for me. It also has a cliffhanger that will not be resolved until the last book in the series. I will read the rest because I have always enjoyed this author's previous work. It's well written and told from dual POV but I will not be rereading this one.

All In: Playing the Fool by Lane Hart a five-star read that I want all in with. This is the forth book of the All In series but they can all be read as stand-alone, I have loved the first three, but that being said this blew my socks off as well as most of my other clothing it has to be said. It’s one of those, and I have been melting worse that the wicked witch of the west and its not because we have had an unseasonably warm early summer. Will Reavis has always been a sweetie and that showed through this story, but all of the men in this story have a part to play and Lacy Pierce you are a woman I would love to swap places with, for the most part anyhow. I can not wait for the next two books to find out what will happen next. Lane Hart you best get writing as I need more reading.

It definitely has the scorching sex scenes expected of the books in the series. Unless a reader can accept that Will is that giving and that okay with Lacy’s kink, the story is unreal. This fourth book reminds me of the first book because of how Lacy is being selfish just like Lauren in “All In: Double or Nothing”. It’s hard to understand Lacy’s inability to make a decision. Also, while Chad is only along for the ride, Joe is actually very interested in somebody else which doesn’t jibe with how caring he is with Lacy in or out of bed. The characters' behaviors or motivations are a turn off but if you’re only looking for intense sex scenes, this is your book. This book is so steamy, erotic, and super hot! Will is a nerdy type who uses his brother-in-laws car, and apartment to pick up a hot woman. He meets Lacy at a bar and they end up hooking up with each other. Lacy is getting over her ex cheating boyfriend, and turns to the opposite type of man, with Will. She tells him she wants to date others beside him, plus share him with other men at the same time. Will is willing to do anything to keep seeing Lacy, even sharing her. She's never trusted any man in her life. She ends up opening up her heart with Will, and he ends up betraying her. Can she forgive him? There's a surprise at the end that I didn't see coming, but really keeps the series suspenseful! Fantastic, sexy read!

I’m halfway through this book and so far I’m extremely disappointed... I loved all the other books in this series but this one is nothing like the others... Will is a great guy, a real catch, and the author sets him up with the worst character in all the series. I liked Lacy at first, ok if she wants to try different things but she clearly doesn’t care about Will, spending all her time fucking Joe and keeping it a secret from Will... I don’t even think I’ll be finishing the book... I’m mad and disgusted by Lacy’s choices, especially after she’s been in Will’s shoes before... This story had so much potential, it’s a shame that Will isn’t as lucky as all his friends were in finding love. Even if they end up together in the end, which I might not read to find out; the story wasn’t worth it.

This was really not my favorite book of this series. It is filled with plenty of scorching heat but very little genuine affection or meaningful emotions between the characters. I felt bad for Will. Even with his lies, he deserved so much better than Lacy. Lacy was a real piece of work. I hated her. She was a serious witch! Joe, has obviously never heard of "The Bro Code", I mean I know he was supposed to be Will's new friend but, with friends like him, Will certainly doesn't need enemies! I will just move on and look forward to the next book in this usually wonderful series. This is my completely honest, voluntary review.

This book is about lots of girl’s fantasies! Have multiple hot partners with no strings and no repercussions. Right? Well things have a way of coming and biting you in the butt! Will starts his relationship with Lacey with lies but eventually they work it out . That is until her father forbids them to see each other. Lacey starts expressing herself sexually and says what and who she wants. Joe becomes a willing participant, then Chad. Who will be left with her in the end? The book is hotter than the others in the series and I loved it! I can’t wait for the next book! This series is awesome!

The writing was still Lane Hart. Having said that this book was such a big disappointment. The woman was a slut and the guy was a wimp. Having been in a relationship where she had been cheated on should have made her a better person with a better moral compass. On the flip side Will having watched all his buddies form lasting and committed relationships should have put him in the right track instead of setting himself to be second best if even that. The whole book is a waste of time when you want to read for enjoyment.......

While I have loved all the books in this series I absolutely hated this one not because it wasn't well written but just because I hated the characters so much

Will is a chump he lets his girlfriend walk all over him to the point that he lets her sleep with other men including his best friend and Lacey well she is a B***ch and a Sl***t he should have let her walk away Overall after reading this book I felt like I needed a shower. Looking forward to the next book and I hope it is like the previous books and not a repeat of this.

Loved this book and was glad to see more about Will! What a surprise to find that he falls in love with Lacy who has commitment issues when Will is ready to find "the woman" so he can have s chance at love like his sister Jules found with Dylan. This book will keep you on your toes and may just change how you view what constitutes "commitment". I cannot say how much I loved this book and encourage you to go ahead and purchase it!

This series (Gambling with Love) just keeps getting better and better! Will is looking for love and finds it in Lacey. But, Lacey is not ready to give in after being publicly burned and cheated on repeatedly by her ex. Joe is Will's friend and recent wing man after Dylan has married Will's sister Joe is also not looking for love as he wants a woman he cannot have but he has what Lacey needs with no strings. Can Lacey and Will have happiness if there are others in their bed? Intense heat!!

Oh my... What a hot and sexy read this book is. Definitely not for the faint hearted at all but boy you get your eyes opened. Lacy is getting over a bad relationship and Wes is wanting a girl and they meet in club. What happens in the book is hot, sexy, loads & loads of chemistry, it's intense, there's fun elements and the book is a fantastic read.

I just couldn't put it down once I started. I loved it. This series just keeps getting better. Its left on a cliff hanger and I cant wait to find out what happens Xx

This is the fourth installment of this series and I am absolutely loving reading this series. If you have not read any f Lane Hart’s book the. You need to do yourself a favour and start. Lacey is not a very likable character, she has three men two of which are using her for sex and the other is totally in love with her. She has trust and commitment issues. I love this series but I am not a fan of string men along but once you read further you will understand.

I can't believe that Will would let Lacy treat him that way. How she can get angry with him because he watched her have sex with someone else...like ??? She has sex with other guys. Not to mention that she has sex with another dude other than Will more often that she does with Will, her boyfriend is just..gah! Lacy is just mean and Will is so in love that he's willing to do practically anything for her. However, the author has a way with words and not all of it was bad.

I love this story between Lacy and Will. The book also gives more dimension to other characters that were introduced in other books. Hopefully, those characters will be the focus of future books; especially the more interesting lifestyle ones. Keeping fingers crossed! Anyway, this book was a "can't put down" kind of book and I really loved it. I found myself immersed in the storyline and pulling for the main characters all throughout the book.

Wow! Will & Lacy, Lacy & Joe? Intense, sexy, complicated. Friends, lovers,co-workers, they seem to work it all out. Each character is likable, along with the newly introduced characters. There is a lot of hot sex in this book. I think even more than the books before this one. Lacy and her men work well together, in and out of the bedroom. Yes sign up for this ride. This can be read as a stand alone book.

WOW this book is not what I was expecting … guess I am the HEA, non-cheating type. However the story is well written, well developed, consistent, and flows smoothly. Will accepted and encouraged Lacy’s lifestyle so to each his own. Not sure how to rate this book due to the storyline, however I cannot take anything away from the author as she did a really amazing job writing this book. A different entertaining story. A standalone within a series Will and Lacy seeming to be main couple. It is very steamy read with lots of sexy scenes. A lot of emotions from love and anger, multiple partners. Lacey has trust and commitment issues and a controlling father which she stays. Will is very much in love. I was captivated till the end.

I’ve read a lot of books written by Lane Hart; she has done an excellent job at writing another good book. She is one of my favorite authors; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

The story line that caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I loved the chemistry between Lacy & Will.

This book was difficult to review. The writing and story telling is really great, BUT the female lead is awful!! It was difficult to read due to the way Will is treated throughout this book. Love cannot condone being treated like that. Sad truth is that it happens in real life more than we care to admit. Overall a good read.
