About the author

I began writing, because I liked the idea of using the imagination to tell stories. At an early age, I published poetry, news articles, and jokes for magazines, but I always was partial to writing books. When I finally had the chance to do this, I wanted to write lesbian romance books that incorporated other parts of a woman’s life. Many of us have families, jobs, and non-romantic relationships that are a big part of our lives, and I thought that it would be more realistic to incorporate these features into the books that I wrote. Later, I noticed that the availability of LGBT books in bookstores and libraries was sparse. I wanted to write more than one genre of lesbian fiction, so that those that were into other types of books like action, adventure, crime, and mystery were able to find a book that suited their personality with characters that were like them.

This novel was fast paced and suspenseful. I really enjoyed the narrators ability to bring all the characters to life with such distinguishable voices and attitude. The twists in this story are many and engaging. I would recommend this audio book to any person who enjoys a good female centered story. It is a great crime story. One of the things that is nice about this narration and novel is the length. It was fast and easy to spend the almost 2 1/2 hours in one sitting. Enjoy. Nicole created another winner.

This book is action packed! The author built her characters very well in such a short time. I really, really enjoyed this book.

🎧Audiobook Review🎧

This book was a bit to fast paced and left me confused at times. You should definitely not get distracted when you listen to this book or you will be lost!

The narrator has given each character a voice, she has definitely perfected the Jamaican accent. She did great with keeping her tone suspenseful throughout!

This book had it all. Fast paced, action packed, twist and turns and some hot sexy times.

Just struggled with the whole story line really but hey it was still a good read.

If your after a nice easy read without too much depth but still action packed, this is the book for you.

This was exciting and fast paced. I really liked Gina in this story. It wasn't the most believable story line but the twists kept me hooked.

The narration was good. I wasn't fond of some of her voices or how she said some of the dialogue. Overall, it was a good listen.

This is the 2nd book in the series. It follows Gina after the break off with Jae. The writing is much improved. I loved the twists and turns. I need to say, in the first book, I didn't like Gina at all. I ended up loving her by the end of this book. Well worth the read.
