Audrey Hepburn: An Audrey Hepburn Biography

by Katy Holborn

These are just a few of the things that makes a star like Audrey Hepburn transcend the movies to icon-status. She wasn’t just beautiful; so many women, especially in her field, are beautiful. More than that, she became the symbol for an ideal of timeless relevance - that is, what it means to be a woman of style and substance. It was beyond beauty. It was a way of life and being.

I read this for a living history presentation for school (I was Audrey Hepburn) a few years back. I remember there being a page of information completely unrelated to the book. It was random and had absolutely nothing to do with Audrey Hepburn, and it was pretty horrific. 13 year old me was not expecting that. I have no idea how that got in there, but the editing is lacking for sure.

I love Audrey but....

This book is schizophrenic! It is all over the place. The editing job was poor, and the narration did not flow.

I’ve never read a book that would have benefitted more from an editor than this one

Talent, beauty, style, compassion she had all that and more. This book shows us an actress that no one has come close to comparison. She was a legend.
