I haven't actually read this book. However, my nine-year-old son has been reading stories from it to his six-year-old brother. Any book that encourages such wonderful behavior deserves 5 stars!

Great collection of stories! My son hates to read and each story in this book held his attention. I'd like to note that girls would also like them, they are more adventurous that fairytale but definitely a fun read for all.

My 5 & 6 year old boys like these stories but I wish I hadn't purchased this book because it isn't something I expect to read repeatedly. Very simple and appropriate for children who have recently learned to read.

Read this one back in 2008, at the ripe age of 12. I loved stories of all kinds back then, and this book was excellent for me then. Though very childish.
