I have waited for this book. Faith may have been one of the seven lightning struck women but she had an attitude and stood alone even among her friends. I had no idea how Carrie Ann Ryan was going to find a mate for her. Especially after the events of the previous book (Tangled Innocence) that had Faith in a coma after receiving a mortal wound in battle which then forced the wizard, Levi Hughes, to bond with her to save her life even if she wasn’t aware to give consent. Boy is he in for it.
Like the other books in this series Fierce Enchantment is a fun sexy romp wrapped up in a fairy tale. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although you could read this as a standalone, it is better to read the series in order.

When I started this I thought this must be interesting since all the previous heroines couldn't wait for this heroine to fall in love so that they can taunt her.
- The end of the last book brought tears to my eyes since u can see the love between friends that literally they would sacrifice their lives for each other.
- I felt bad for the hero since the heroine wasn't exactly pleased to find herself in that situation and dumping all the blame on the hero seemed the easiest outlet for her. She was the take charge type that didn't like to seem weak to others. And the hero was the reasonable who bore with it and having his problem in his realm didn't help matters either.
- Let's say I love how the hero and heroine were with the kids, especially the heroine with the youngest.
- I loved looking forward to the discovery of the true nature of each lightening struck woman and the irony in each one didn't escape me like in this one she was all tough and grumpy but ended up being a pixie XD

Fairy tales and pixie dust have nothing on this romance and the reader can't help but be charmed by Levi, the sexy wizard prince and the feisty Faith as they struggle to adapt to an unconventional mating bond. The attraction between them burns hot enough to set all the realms aflame and the sex scenes are even hotter but the relationship got off to a rocky start which has Levi treading very carefully to win Faith over which adds lots of depth and fiery sparks to the story. These strong enchanting characters have no problem demanding the attention they deserve and the fast paced and smooth flowing plot captivates readers with suspense, excitement and passion.
Conniving exes and ambitious pixies adds lots of danger and excitement to the story with anticipation building throughout the story as the reader awaits Faith's lightning struck powers to form and of course awaiting to find out what direction the Conclave will take, especially with two of its members mating two to the women who were struck by lightning. The well written scenes and details paint vivid images that capture the imagination and bring the story to life with the well orchestrated events drawing the reader in and refusing to let them go.
I love getting lost in this fascinating world full of such charming and sexy characters, interesting and intriguing elements and unexpected surprises. There was never a dull moment in Faith and Levi's story and I was completely enchanted from the very beginning and I can't wait visit Dante's Circle again to find out what happens next.

Ok so I went about this reading order ass backwards haha kinda like Faith and Levi! So this is the first book by Author Carrie Ann Ryan and it definitely won't be my last!! I love paranormal romance and this type fills my needs just right and more! Dante's Circle books have got it all! Fae, pixies, wizards, dragons and more! Hehe right up my alley and sex! Lots of naughty dirty sex that's sure to melt your panties off!! Emotions run wild and loss of control is bound to happen when you wake up and nothing is as it seems or as it was. Faith is a strong, sassy and kick as chick and has the will and drive and attitude to whether anything that comes her way. She does not want a mate getting in her way. She likes control and no one will tell her what to do no one. And Levi well he's a sexy as Hell wizard who's got his own issues and he's seems like such a nice caring and giving man and boy do I want a Levi for my own! Yummy!! And he's magical hehe I like that. Anyways he can kick ass too! And he's patient he can wait a long time for what he wants. His sexy body and even sexier eyes and oh ya the magic oh drool! Can Faith deny him? Does she want to? Wanna find out?! Read it it's so worth it!! As for me, well I'm going back to the beginning so I can read about the rest of the crew and there falls into mate or mates!!

Levi is a wizard prince who mated a dying woman he had yet to meet in order to save her life. Faith is a human with the capacity to be a supernatural being if she completes the mating bond by consumating the union. But Faith's wounds are so severe she has been in a coma for a year. And before she was mortally wounded she had vowed never to mate. Levi mated her without her consent, and when she wakes from her coma she is livid. I loved this book because to me Levi was darn near perfect. He was strong, politically powerful, rational during intense emotional situations, and he was 100% invested in trying to develop a relationship with Faith. I also perversely loved Faith. She could be real bitchy and unreasonable, but most of her reactions were due to fear and insecurity. The beauty in the book was how Levi dealt with Faith when she was at her most unreasonable bitchy self. But what truly kept me riveted was the plotline. There was a lot going on in this book which made it fast paced and exciting. A lot of the plot pertained to how Levi and Faith dealt with other people and groups, including her friends, his parents, his children who were being used against him, a corrupt conclave of ruling supernaturals, and more than one person out to kill them! Great Book!

Although you could read this as a stand alone, it is better to read the series in order.
Faith is one of the lightening struck women. The lightening kick started the dormant part of their DNA ,the part that makes them a magical being. They have no idea what they might be, just that they need to find their true Mates before it kicks in.
Faith has been unconscious for a year, since she saved a friend's life in battle. She is not happy to have missed so many changes in her friend's and her own life. The wizard she finds herself bonded to is a man she doesn't know at all.
Levi has a lot going on in his life. An ex-wife , two young daughters and being on the council that controls the super natural beings. Now he needs to make this new bond work.
Lots of magical battles and emotional scenes. We do get to visit with some old friends from the other books and are teased with a taste of what is to come. I love the powers that Faith discovers. Our hero is a lovely sexy wizard with a strong love for his family. I can't wait for the next book.

Probably my favourite of the series so far. I really really liked the two main characters, Faith and Levi.
I was surprised by how much I ended up liking Faith. In the previous books her crass and aggressive behaviour was really off putting to me. However, once I was in her head and learning more about her I discovered that she and I share a lot of values. It was a pleasant surprise to find my opinion changed completely.
Levi is awesome. Honestly he is caring, smart and progressive. Levi knows he violated Faith's boundaries when he saved her life and from that moment on he is super respectful of them. He safe guards her boundaries and is very aware of consent. Honestly ... This alone made me love him. He isn't full of the alpha posturing that the other male protagonists have been but exudes a confidence and fairness that is very appealing. He is hands down my fave.
The story is good. It includes supportive family members, a vicious ex-wife, and the fall out of the battle in the 4th book. The political ramifications of the skirmish make up the backdrop of the story. But I am left a little concerned ... If the main story, the plot that tied the books together, is resolved ... What does that mean for the last two books?

This was a pretty strong installment in the Dante’s Circle series. I wish we knew more about Faith’s past, but there was enough to understand why she is the way she is. Levi brings the wizarding world into the mix. For the most part, there wasn’t too much drama, but what drama there was made sense. It was nice to see the other couples, but there wasn’t much interaction with them. I’m looking forward to Amara’s book, which is next...Seth and Tristan seem to be interesting matches for the level-headed lightening-struck woman.

So snarky humor and banter really hit the spot for me.
Faith is tough on the outside and has only know disappointment and abandonment in her relationships and she’s done with all that.
But fate has another story to tell when you are one of the lightening struck.
The only thing that was a bit off for me on this one - was that the villain was just bit too obvious.
Otherwise this one was filled with struggles and issues but I enjoyed the ride.

I have had these books for I do not know how long and finally decided to read them. Wow, what I was missing out on. They are entertaining and very easy to read. At times I felt like I was there with the characters trying to help in situations. Laughing was also a part of my reaction. Great paranormal love stories.

Great read
I really enjoyed watching these two come together and work through the issues around them. This story pulled me in from beginning to end and I enjoyed getting to see our fiery Faith find her mate and work through all the changes that she had come her way. There is plenty of action and intrigue to hold your attention and really build this story and series.

Still liking this series
I get bored with a series if they're cookie cutter. These do have similarities, but they are keeping my interest. There were a few typos that bugged me but otherwise awesome book. This falls solidly in my "read again later" category. Hot & spicy, fantasy fated vanilla romance.

Faith and Levi had a rough start, and for a year she was un a coma after Levi saved her by bonding to her. Now she is awake and not happy but the pull is there and when they bond the rest of the way she is a Pixie, now she has the pixies after her, and Levi's ex wife.

Faith's lack of faith is well learned. Levi's very strategic method of wooing her is perfect. And having two little girls who need help only shows just how soft Faith can be with those who need her support.

Go Faith! I wasn't sure I would like this book, since I'm not sure how I feel about aggressive women. Faith surprised me though. And good for Levi for understanding why she is the way she is. I liked that it was more of a slow burn romance than jumping into the sack right away.

The best book in the series. Faith is a great character and Levi is also good. The chemistry between them them works well.The storyline about how Faith and Levi deal with her not having a choice was well handled.

“I’m a freaking Pixie”

I tell you Carrie Ann just keeps getting better and better. I absolutely loved this read and finished it in one sitting. I could not put it down.
Dante’s Circle is about 7 friends relaxing over drinks and a strange storm whips up striking the girls with lightening. That night forever changed them. This read takes you on Faith’s journey. Faith is by no means quiet. She’s doesn’t trust men and she’s a tenacious in your face independent no holds bar woman. Okay you get my point. She’s a badass.
So imagine you are fighting a battle of life and death and you look across the battle field to lock eyes with a hunk of a guy. Those blue eyes just burning into you. Okay so you mentally say to yourself I’ll think about that later and just as you’re coming out of your daydream your best friend is in the direct line of fire so you throw yourself at her to protect her, only to take the direct deadly hit. As you lay on the battlefield not being able to move but can hear and everything is chaos around you. You know you are going to die. In fact you are actually dying. But something happens you hear voices and feel a burning in your chest then everything goes black. You know you’re dead. But your mind is not dead, you keep replaying your death scene over and over in your head. You feel like you’re stuck between heaven and hell. You know you’re dead you can’t move but you can feel pain. Oh and the pain. Then all of a sudden you hear someone calling your name, shaking you, telling you to wake up. And when you do finally open your eyes the first thing you see are those blue eyes. Well this is what happened to Faith. And the gorgeous hunk of man with the mesmerizing blue eyes is Levi a Wizard Prince and Faith’s Mate.
Levi knew Faith was his mate and he knew he could save her by bonding her to him. Not the best way to bond with Faith especially not giving her a choice. But he did it anyway and figured he’d worry about it later.
So this is where Faith and Levi’s story begins. They most definitely got off on a rocky start. Levi was crushed and hurt at Faith’s rejection of him. But eventually he got her alone and they talked. He tried to explain some things but others he left unsaid knowing it would not be the best time to bring up his past. You see Levi has an ex-wife and two daughters. His marriage was one of convenience and not love. His ex was power hungry and wanted the title of Princess and the power that it would yield. She had their two daughters quickly in order to lock in the title and her position within his Royal family. BUT when Levi was called to the conclave she wanted a divorce and he was more than happy to accommodate.
Eventually Faith finds out and yes freaks out but as the story goes it gets fixed. When Finally Faith and Levi decide to do the deed and completing the mate bond Faith finds out what her paranormal side is. Right towards the end the hottest sex she starts the change and totally freaks out. Poor Levi but you have to give the guy credit because when he saw what was happening he totally held it together and didn’t bust out laughing as much as he wanted to. You see Faith was sprouting wings and at first she thought she was an Angel, then maybe a demon, or a sparkly Vampire, but when Levi told her what he suspected her reaction was priceless and I never laughed so hard.
As you continue with the read Levi and Faith just seem to be hitting troubles right and left. His ex trying to kill Faith. The Pixie’s not being very welcoming. His eldest daughter not to thrilled with her and his youngest not speaking a word.
But in the end and Wow what a great ending things seem to fall into place. Now I’m really curious if Tristan, Seth and Amara are mates. She wasn’t feeling what they were or was she ignoring it. Hmmmmm time will tell.

I tell you Carrie Ann just keeps getting better and better. I absolutely loved this read and finished it in one sitting. I could not put it down.
Dante’s Circle is about 7 friends relaxing over drinks and a strange storm whips up striking the girls with lightening. That night forever changed them. This read takes you on Faith’s journey. Faith is by no means quiet. She’s doesn’t trust men and she’s a tenacious in your face independent no holds bar woman. Okay you get my point. She’s a badass.
So imagine you are fighting a battle of life and death and you look across the battle field to lock eyes with a hunk of a guy. Those blue eyes just burning into you. Okay so you mentally say to yourself I’ll think about that later and just as you’re coming out of your daydream your best friend is in the direct line of fire so you throw yourself at her to protect her, only to take the direct deadly hit. As you lay on the battlefield not being able to move but can hear and everything is chaos around you. You know you are going to die. In fact you are actually dying. But something happens you hear voices and feel a burning in your chest then everything goes black. You know you’re dead. But your mind is not dead, you keep replaying your death scene over and over in your head. You feel like you’re stuck between heaven and hell. You know you’re dead you can’t move but you can feel pain. Oh and the pain. Then all of a sudden you hear someone calling your name, shaking you, telling you to wake up. And when you do finally open your eyes the first thing you see are those blue eyes. Well this is what happened to Faith. And the gorgeous hunk of man with the mesmerizing blue eyes is Levi a Wizard Prince and Faith’s Mate.
Levi knew Faith was his mate and he knew he could save her by bonding her to him. Not the best way to bond with Faith especially not giving her a choice. But he did it anyway and figured he’d worry about it later.
So this is where Faith and Levi’s story begins. They most definitely got off on a rocky start. Levi was crushed and hurt at Faith’s rejection of him. But eventually he got her alone and they talked. He tried to explain some things but others he left unsaid knowing it would not be the best time to bring up his past. You see Levi has an ex-wife and two daughters. His marriage was one of convenience and not love. His ex was power hungry and wanted the title of Princess and the power that it would yield. She had their two daughters quickly in order to lock in the title and her position within his Royal family. BUT when Levi was called to the conclave she wanted a divorce and he was more than happy to accommodate.
Eventually Faith finds out and yes freaks out but as the story goes it gets fixed. When Finally Faith and Levi decide to do the deed and completing the mate bond Faith finds out what her paranormal side is. Right towards the end the hottest sex she starts the change and totally freaks out. Poor Levi but you have to give the guy credit because when he saw what was happening he totally held it together and didn’t bust out laughing as much as he wanted to. You see Faith was sprouting wings and at first she thought she was an Angel, then maybe a demon, or a sparkly Vampire, but when Levi told her what he suspected her reaction was priceless and I never laughed so hard.
