>Book Review – Tank
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is the 4th in the Kings of Denver series and ends in an HEA. The reader is revisiting Tank and Sophie 5 years later. Sophie is pregnant and working as an investigative journalist. Her and Tank are still hot for each other. Sophie still seems a bit out of control, both in her work and in her life. She is big on exhibitionism and Tank seems to encourage her. There is a creepy scene where Sophie admits she wants a foursome with Miller and Dani. Tank is not down for that.
>Tank has a stalker that seems like the police do nothing about. Sophie ruins her future by putting herself in danger through her job. This story line is so extremely sad. The aftermath of Sophie’s choices affect her marriage and her life. There is a question as to whether Tank and Sophie are trying to get pregnant again. Are they trying and cannot? Was Sophie injured so badly she is unable? How did they decide to adopt? The whole story line regarding the adoption process was skipped over.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving this book 4 stars. Once again, editing seems to be done solely using spell check. The author had some different, but not incorrect spellings due to language differences in Australia. Lounge room is what we call the Living room in the United States. I am pretty sure the word “dinners” is not spelled “diners”, though, no matter what country one is in. I hope more care is taken in future books, as this awesome series really deserves the time.

Holy cow. For such a shirt book everything is packed into it., This book has some fantastic steam, great suspense, wit between the characters and I love how they are a family without being related.

I actually haven’t read the other sin this series but will now be going back.

I’m giving this a 2 sadly. I loved these two characters from the first book. However why are we just learning Tanks real name in the 4th book when he was all over in book 1. Also the cover it shows the dude with tats...... I don’t ever remember even reading what tank looked like other than he had a good body. Same with Sophie. We know she has blonde hair. There is lack of character descriptions in this series. Also felt it was rushed. There was just pointless info in some areas that seemed like fill ins just to get a higher word count. At the end when Tank gets stabbed he says he’s going to miss the season then it’s all we hear about hockey again. Lastly they end up adopting.... but it’s kinda out of left field. We’re Sophie’s injuries so severe she couldn’t have kids after Tyler or did she just not want to go through it again.

Lastly, it seems the author is from somewhere outside of the US but she is writing about characters in the US so there is terminology used that people in the US don’t use.

I LOVE Sophie!! I feel like she is a bit of me, crazy, outgoing, never one to back away from a challenge. Her energy and personality is everything and even her job is right up my alley. I feel like I loved this book more than the others for that exact reason, I saw myself in her. And Tank oh I love Tank. The fact that he puts up with her antics and loves her more than anything, I just hope to find someone like that someday.

I love how you still have the friendships and main ideas from the first few books, especially Miller and Dani’s, but now you’ve seen how they’ve grown since then and are no longer college hockey jocks and are tiring into dads with families. It’s so cute.

The story was definitely filled with a lot of heartbreak and drama that you had no idea was coming. It was hard to read because all of the emotions were so prevalent and you could feel them in your gut but it made the story what it was and without it it wouldn’t be nearly as great. Sheridan Anne has a way of covering very hard and traumatic concepts in a way that sheds light onto the emotions that go along with them and allows for people in the same situation to connect with it.

❌SPOILER❌

The only reason I didn’t give this 5 stars is because we never got to see Tanks reaction to the gift Sophie had made. It was such a big deal and the production of it was a big part of the story line and then nothing. It was just forgotten about and I really felt like that was an unfinished piece of the story that would have been a crucial point in Tank and Sophie’s relationship and healing process.

Between action and romance
This story is quite different from the other romances I have already read from this author, because the characters are already in a relationship at the beginning. But what a roller coaster of emotions ... The blurb voluntarily does not tell what is the problem and it is thus difficult to tell in what the story is very moving to see shocking without spoiling. Still, what is happening both moved and angered me. I seek immediately to know how the couple can go beyond, solve a problem without putting themself in more danger than it is already the case.
The characters are excellent, their feelings and emotions are very well transmitted to the reader.
The story begins with Sophie and Tank discovering that she is pregnant. He is a hockey player who may become captain of the Los Angeles team, and Sophie is a reporter and she conducts investigations, which does not appreciate Tank, because of the dangerousness of his work.
They are preparing for their role as parents when Sophie's job and a mad stalker complicate their lives.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

And this novel is the very definition of the best for last. I absolutely love that this was a novel where the characters were already in an established relationship and it wasn’t about them breaking up and finding each other again. It was about them facing a drama as a couple and surviving. Excellent touch. We met Tank and Sophie back in the first novel where they fell in love alongside Miller and Dani and I’ve been anticipating their novel as I read the subsequent novels in the series and omg it was totally worth the wait. Anne delivered a terrific novel filled with heartbreaking moments as well as moments that prove that relationships can face the darkest of times and come out at the other side even stronger without the drama of breaking up and not talking to each other. This was exceptional writing and I hope there are more Kings of Denver to come *cough* the coach *cough*. I’m glad I got to read these novels!

BLOWING OFF SOME STEAM!!!
Wow. Talk about hitting the ground running. This is one exciting, action packed, hard hitting, fast paced, nailbiting, pulse racing, heart pounding, smooth flowing, page turning bombshell that will rock your world. All the twists and turns, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for remarkable experience. You have a whirlwind of emotions and events that bogle the mind. With all the drama, heartache, fear, sadness, danger and suspense that increases and the tension spirals as the plot thickens. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really pulls this bad boy together beautifully. Fantastic job Sheridan, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

A well written story with nice storyline and plot. I like it is written in dual POV, because that gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters and that brings the story closer to the reader.
I like the characters most of the time. Sophie annoyed me at times with her selfishness and because she acted as a spoiled kid. But she developed through the story. Tank is very likeable and so sweet and possessive.
This story surprised me in its form. It is different from the others three books in this series and I liked that. It is not only happiness and tears were on the edge of my eyelids at times. The unexpected twists made this story worth the read. The chemistry, passion, emotional ups and downs was a great mix.
Captivating and recommendable read.

Ummmm I can’t

This is seriously the most depressing book Ann has written. I skipped like half of it because I new what was coming. It’s awful the story line is just awful. It’s a decent book and ends happily but I just hated this one. Seriously to depressing, to sad, and in all honesty Ann is just getting more violent with her writing. Seriously this one pushes way further than any of her other ones. PLUS!! There are a bunch of little errors that I let slide in her other books because it’s usually easy to understand what she was trying to say, but like... missing letters from words, added letters to other words, entire freaking words missing? Um hello, I think she needs a new editor. This book just made me snap.

Tank and Sophie's story is tragically beautiful!

Tank and Sophie met when they both seniors in college. They were both total players and never expected to fall in love, but they did and give years later they are married and expecting a baby boy in a few months. Sophie is still doing what she loves which is writing and Tank is up for Captain of the LA Storm hockey team. When tragedy strikes will these two be able to pull through and stay together? Or will Tank blame Sophie for not listening to him in the first place? Grab this awesome book today and find out what happens! Excellent story and a definite must read.

I was wondering was in store for me when I started Tank. I knew he’d already found the love of his life in Sophie. The book was different than previous books, but it was a great read. The suspense kept up throughout and kept me turning the pages. The personal losses and triumphs Tank and Sophie endured brought me to tears. I love the passion that Sophie and Tank have for one another and how they really complete each other. I really enjoyed this book as well as the entire series!

Sophie is a real firecracker and Tank fully appreciates her fire and spunk!
So much trauma and drama in this fast paced romance between this confident sexy couple.
I liked the way Tank sticks by Sophie and follows her
after she decided to leave him. He is just the man for her and his loyalty and timing in their relationship is spot on. They deal with a tragic loss, but turn it into a way to strengthen their marriage.

The 1st thing I'll say is when I got chance to read and review this book I jumped at the chance because I've love the other books in this series . I did struggle with this book to an extent , I absolutely adored Tank my issue was with Sophie I found her a bit selfish and childish which spoilt it for me . That being said I will continue to read books in this series I just probably will not read this 1 again .

Sheridan Anne has pulled out all the stops in this heart wrenching storyline between Sophie and Tank. There are parts that are so innocently funny I was giggling and then there are parts that completely ripped my heart out bringing me to tears. The emotional rollercoaster of this one was a bit overwhelming at times but in the end, I knew the characters on this team and in this storyline would prevail. Those that read romance novels know, love will always find a way and Sheridan Anne certainly makes sure that happens.

Book 4 in the series. This is a great book, I will admit it was filled with far more emotion than I was expecting. Sheridan always bring out the feels but this one was crazy good. Tank and Sophie deal with everything that lands on their doorstep, literally. I hope you love this one as much as I did. If you haven't already picked up the others in the series, Miller, Jaxson, and Xander, I suggest you do. You won't want to miss this series.

I have read a lot of these types of books lately and honestly found this one to be refreshingly different. Her writing draws you in and keeps you involved throughout the whole story, I found myself in love with not only the characters but also the world she has created.
Their attitudes toward the events that are happening makes the story even richer, some things are left a little vague, but I won't say what those are as I don't want to spoil it for anyone.

I find Tank’s love for Sophie commendable in the face of heartbreak. Makes you want to have your own Tank. The story is at times entertaining, steamy, heartfelt, and suspenseful. The chemistry between Sophie and Tank is discernible not just in the steamy sex scenes but also in their every touch and caring for each other. It is a glorious love story. OMG most definitely not a book for the faint hearted what a tear jerker this book was be sure to have tissues on hand. While saying that boy the love Tank has for Sophie is hot he can not keep his hands off his wife definitely some smoking bed sheet action happening between these two.
So you must read this book but be sure to read the ones before as this is not the only good book.

Oh man 😭💔🥰💞

Wow...this one was a major feels all around. We finally get a book with Tank and Sophie that begins a few years after college and are way happily married. There is loss, and it's a total heart wrenching moment. We get to see them go through all motions you would expect from something so huge like that. I even shed quite a few tears of my own for them. In the end however it was nothing but smiles and happiness for them.

I have loved this series up to now but I didn’t really like this one, I loved Tank but I didn’t like Sophie, she just got on my nerves, she was just too selfish and spoilt, the storyline idea was good and there was some really sad parts, but I just couldn’t like Sophie. But anyway I get to move on to the triplets books! 😉 so looking forward to them 😊
