No matter where you live or hunt, or how you go at it, elk are tough to outsmart. Make no bones about it - you will hunt long and hard to take a good bull elk fair-and-square. And the key to your success will be what you know about elk behavior, and how you use that to your advantage in the way you hunt. That's where Bob Robb, author of Elk Essentials, comes in. His philosophy on, and commitment to, elk hunting are about as simple as you can know and love the animal, love the country, give them both everything you've got; and just get out there and hunt, hunt, hunt.
If you want to learn the science of elk hunting don't look here. This is only for those that know absolutely nothing about elk or elk hunting. Not worth your time.
Elk Essential I chose this book because I hunt and I like elk. It is one of my favorite species of deer living today.I also like this book because my whole family like these species because it is so hard to find them. I would really recommend this book if you like elk and if you like hunting. Also if you want to know what things you should bring gear if you want to observe this beast or hunt this beast. I would also recommend this book if you like how these animals hide. Another reason is if you like elk and you want to learn about them. Plus if you like how it's hard to get one or at least find one it it gives hints about telling you that they stay in herds. HP
