A Sexy Hate To Love Office Romance*SiennaSo there we were. Two people as different as fire and ice. There's me. An ambitious, committed, head-down-no-nonsense kind of girl who doesn't need distractions in the workplace. Then, there's a self-obsessed, arrogant, flirtatious, entitled, class A jerk who wastes time hanging around the water cooler flirting with my female colleagues. And I see them batting their lashes back at him. Ugh! What they see in him is beyond me.Well, beyond his sparkling blue eyes, thick jet black hair, straight nose, strong jaw, mile-wide shoulders, muscles that flex and bunch up when he rolls up his sleeves, and that flat stomach, there's just nothing really interesting about him.The closest I ever get to him is when he brushes past me on the way to his office. Which, of course, is perfectly fine with me.Thankfully, I don't have to work with him. Nothing could be worse. Then out of nowhere my boss drops his nightmare bombshell. We have to work together!Don't look at me like that!It wasn't like I had a choiceIt'll be painful, but I decide to grin and bear it. Closing the deal is all that matters.Anyway, there's no way I would allow him to ruin my career.Even if a rational woman could drown in those blue eyes, and his smooth voice makes desire flare up like wild fire through her sane body.A full length steamy office standalone romance with guaranteed HEA.
Accidental Rivals was a stand-alone by River Laurent. This was my first book by Laurent.
Sienna and Zack were the top two agents in their office. Sienna was dubbed the “Ice Princess” because she was all work with no social graces. Work was her life and she literally didn’t do anything else but work, eat and sleep. Zack was her opposite - the well liked social butterfly. They were both successful and respected, but very different and couldn’t stand to be around the other.
The biggest sale of the century was coming on the market but there were stipulations and they had to work together. A true enemies to lovers theme.
It was written with a double POV but primarily Sienna’s with Zack’s mixed in sporadically. It was well written so kudos to Laurent, but the characters were too immature and I couldn’t connect with them. I craved more depth and dimension. Overall, it was a quick and light hearted read.
Sienna and Zack work in the same real estate office, they don’t get on and are the top two agents so they are rivals. Their boss has landed a big account to sell a prestigious house and wants them to work together.
I’ve not read this author before and while I can see she has talent, her plot let her down on this one IMO. The two lead characters behave like school children for the most part, which quite honestly I didn’t find funny. I quite liked Zack, but Sienna was a hard nosed bitch I was not keen on her.
As to the actual story far too much of it was played out in the two lead characters minds, even the two sex scenes early on only lived in their imaginations. But overall there was not enough substance to the plot to carry it through for a full length story, it was just about selling a house! Maybe a novella might have worked better.

When Sienna and Zack are forced to work together to sell a hugely expensive mansion, it's not all sweetness and light because these two coworkers hate each other. Or do they?
Of course they don't, their hostility is just masking their attraction to each other, and, after lots of shenanigans, tricks, backstabbing, they finally give into their attraction and it's super hot. But can their newly sweet relationship survive one of their betrayals?
If enemies to lovers and snarky, sexy fun is your thing, give Accidental Rivals a read.
COPY RECEIVED FOR HONEST REVIEW Enemies to lovers is the trope to this office romance. He's drop dead gorgeous. He is sexy and successful. Too bad she can't stand him. She is a has a killer body but has a stick up her behind. When the two top sellers in the agency are teamed up to sell a large estate in one week, things get dicey. Zack needs this sale and will stop at nothing to see it get done. Sienna is resigned to working with the insufferable Zack. Tricks are played, attractions are brought to the forefront and fun is had by all. Nice turn of events in the end.
3.5 Stars Sienna and Zack are rivals in the same real estate office. When forced to work together the gloves come off and the childish pranks got almost too numerous to count. River Laurent has a talent for writing a very sexy love scene, but in this book they were few and toward the end of the book. If you are looking for a funny enemies-to-lovers book with delayed gratification you should really enjoy this well written book.

Oh boy!! This was so good and had me laughing out loud. Zach and Sienna [she is known as the Ice Queen and he is the office playboy with all the women flirting with him. But Zach also sees so much more of her when they are told by their boss that they have a week to work together to sell a billion dollar listing! Zach and Sienna avoid each other whenever they can. They work for a high end estate agents and are basically rivals for any high position to come up. Their profits are neck and neck and they certainly see themselves as rivals. They start off as if they are going to co-operate but these two are both alpha characters and both want to win. The office has a bet going on that Zach is keeping his distance from. |W|hen he finds out that she is taking a male client to see the property without him being aware of it, he sabotages the viewing - but don't worry, she gets her own back with interest!! Chemistry between these two is off the charts and is so well written by River Laurent. Their dialogue is witty and playful but what happens when they both acknowledge about their feelings?? And what is Zach's secret? Will Sienna want anything to do with him when she finds out exactly who he is?? To find out for yourselves , get yourself a copy to read and enjoy!! This is the story of Sienna and Zack, Sienna and Zack both work at Dunhurst Real Estate they are both rivals and they hate each other. Their boss Rodney gets them in his office to give them the news and that’s they have been partnered with each other to sell a recording artists mansion and to make things worse is that Sienna and Zack only have one week to sell it and they are both not happy being made to work together. Zack says Sienna only cares about her work she won’t even stand around and talk to anyone and no one really likes her, Sienna says that Zack tries to be a ladies man he’s always flirting with women around the office and she definitely doesn’t like him. Now the fun begins and there was a surprise which made me laugh my head off it was so funny, this is an enemies to Lovers romance and I enjoyed it immensely and I still laugh when I think of the surprise trust me you won’t expect it but it was bloody fantastic. Also great characters and a part of the story I just didn’t see coming it’s a wonderful story I loved it and I know you will too. A 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Top agent Sienna is called into her boss' office with Zack and told they'll be working together on the most high-profile sale at Dunhurst Real Estate. And the legendary estate has to be sold in one week. Too bad Sienna can't stand the drop dead gorgeous Zack. Top agent Zack can't believe he got paired up with Sienna and asked to play nice. Zack doesn’t have a reputation for playing nice. What a hell of a week this is going to be working with the beautiful Sienna, who Zack secretly lusts after, much to his annoyance. Sienna had accepted that she'll be working together with Zack ... until he pulls a dirty trick on her. Then it's game on. Sienna has no idea why everyone thinks their heated arguments looks like lovers spats because they couldn't possibly be interested in each other. Or could they?
River Laurent delivers a hilarious, angsty and steamy story with a twist for a book you won't be able to put down
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book
I am a huge fan of River Laurent so when a new book of hers comes out I know I will be one of the first to read it as I love her books and she never disappoints. This is a enamies to lovers office romance. They are both top selling agents and they are fighting for top position.I read this book as part of a voluntary arc in exchange for voluntary and honest review. Selena and Zack are called into the boss office and are told they will be working together on a high profile sale which has to be done in 1 week. One big problem they can’t stand each other and he does not have a good reputation when it comes to playing nice. He also secretly lusts after the very beautiful Selena much to his irritation. She is a little more accepting of working together until he fills a dirty trick on her. Know as far as she is concerned it game on. Great funny read

I must say River Laurent is one of my favorite must read, go to suthors and I typically read all her books. This is an enemy to lover office romance that's a quick & entertaining read! Zach & Sienna are both top selling real estate agents working in the same office. Being the top two agents they are both, of course, fighting for the top spot. That is until one day their boss tells them they will be working together to sell a multi-million dollar listing. Plenty of steam and heat, along with witty banter ensue as these two fight for the sale. Find out what happens when things get hot & heavy as these two navigate through this tale. Definitely Recommend any River Laurent book including Accidental Rivals. I am voluntarily leaving this voluntary review, but for full disclosure I did receive an review copy, ARC, of this book but enjoyed to book so much I purchased the final copy of the book!
ROCK HARD!!! River is one amazing author. I have enjoyed many of her works and it just keeps getting better. She can sweep a read from one end of the pendulum to the other without breaking a sweat. She can take any topic and bring it alive before your eyes. Her passion and talent keep her steps a head with strong storylines and limitless potential. Characters are intriguing, complex and realistic. Personalities that balance out the playing field. Emotions she brings out to her readers from her characters is perfection in motion. From comedic humor to down right hatred all come together with boundless energy. The scenes and schemes so vividly detailed and descriptive it makes for one phenomenal backdrop that feels like watching everything in 3D Technicolor. Fantastic job River, thanks for sharing your world with us.
I really enjoyed this enemies-to-lovers romance. It’s well written with plenty of laughs, some snarky banter and even a bit of suspense, and of course, some truly steamy scenes. Sienna and Zack are competitive rivals in a realty company that caters to the very wealthy. When both are assigned the same multi-million dollar listing and expected to work as a team, sparks fly as each has very intense feelings for the other – namely mistrust and perhaps even some loathing. While their fights, antics and the pranks that each pulls to sabotage the other may be seen as somewhat childish, they’re also quite funny and unwittingly serve to bring them closer. Who knew that fire and ice could be so combustible? All in all, a fun read!

Sienna and Zach are the top sellers in their office but when a big commission comes in the boss wants them both to work on it together and split the commission. Zach sees Sienna as a hot ice queen type of woman and is only interested in getting her to let him have this sale. Sienna knows Zach is a playboy and hot on her feet when it comes to selling for the office. Neither is very happy about the situation and try to boot the other out however when things heated up between them will work keep them apart?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Zach and Sienna is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this story to any book lover.
YUM! River Laurent told a really great tale about Sienna and Zach. These two are top of the food chain in their office and now they are bing forced to work together, when normally they compete. The shenangins these two pull on each other are pretty funny but the connection they soon forge when they start to look deeper is even better. I very much enjoyed this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Zach = 5/5 Heroine, Sienna = 5/5 Chemistry, = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 2/5 Action = 1/5 Darkness = 1/5 Humor = 3/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I Re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I really enjoyed reading this story about Sienna and Zach. Sienna is the top agent in her office besides Zach and they both are very competitive about what they are putting on the market. They are tasked to work together for selling a house in a week but they continuously work to try to outdo the other. There's chemistry between them so it's a love-hate relationship and the office is actually betting against them. After a crazy day competition a kiss happens and everything changes. All of them on their Adventure to find out what makes them happy as well as the other happy. Great easy read. Love the tricks they try to pull on each other.

This book took me a bit to get into. I think it was the characters. Sienna is very career focused. Zach is focused on being the best in the office. Together these two have no time for each other. Zach sees Sienna as ice cold and really not very friendly to anyone. Sienna sees Zach as using his charm to accomplish his sales and taking credit for what others do. I will say Sienna annoyed me that she thought nothing of doing this underhandedly but was annoyed if Zach did the same thing. Zach also was lying throughout the story. I was surprised there was really any chemistry between them. Not one of my favorite books by this author. I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.
A enemies to lovers story that offers lots of heat, zippy banter, drama and a whole lot of shenanigans. This workplace romance introduces us to Sierra and Zack. I liked both these characters but I couldn't say I loved them. He was too full of himself and she was too self centered. The "Prank Element" was a huge turn off to me because, in reality they both would have likely ended up unemployed. These are supposed to be adult, successful, professional people! There are books that are written that you know to check your reality at the door and that was not what I expected with this book, so only four stars from me. I am posting a completely honest, voluntary review.
A well written enemies to lovers entertaining, angsty, steamy, funny story with some quite hilarious moments. Zach & Sienna are both top selling real estate agents constantly competing. Zach is considered the Player and Sienna the Ice Queen. They are forced together to sell a multi-million dollar listing. Sparks fly as they both prank and sabotage each other’s efforts to sell the property. Lots of steam errupts and things get hot & heavy as these two navigate through this journey of fighting for the sale.

The both work for the same company, they are both the best workers, putting work before everything, living and breathing work work work. One day instead of competing each others, they have to work has a team to sell a property worth billion. They will need to trus each other, that's ofcourse the difficult and best part of it. See it as a challenge, they will try to overdo what the other do, or try to screw the other one. Who will win or will they finally work together to be the best ? Will they finally put their brain together ?
Really fun, well written and enjoyable !!!

Enjoyed this book especially the office rivalry between Zach and Sienna. The chemistry was devastatingly electric, apparent through the combatative moments when instead of being 'partners' they were competitors. They may say that they dislike each other intensely that could border towards hatred but don't we know that 'hate' is really akin to love which obviously they both soon learn. They've been forced together on a project and have been given a deadline of a week to settle and close the deal. Not possible. But read the fun and games, the flair ups, and angst the two play while their attraction scales higher to combust. Too hot!!!
Sienna always strives to be the best at everything she does. Zack knows how to use his looks and charm to get the job done. There is a fine line between love and hate. Will Sienna let her walls down to prove she isn't what everyone thinks she is? Will Zack be able to prove that he is more than a pretty face?
Loved the fire between these two! I didn't blame Sienna for being iffy on his motives, BUT I did agree with Zack and her sister that she was using the same tactics. I loved how Zack was with his sister and I loved how he finally just put himself out there. Great read!

This is the second book I've read by Rivet Laurent and I really enjoy her writing style. It's modern, fast paced with wonderful banter between the characters. Sienna and Zack are more alike than they could imagine. When thrown together to work as a team on a huge sale a sexual fire is lit. There are a number of fun twists and turns before they get to their HEA but the journey was so much fun. I look forward to reading more books by the author. I received an advance reader copy via Booksprout.
This is a wonderful, entertaining enemies to lovers romance and I have to admit I really enjoyed reading it. It is full of drama, suspense, twists & turns, humor, verbal banter, pranks and some steamy scenes. The characters are well developed and entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with fears, doubts, needs and desires. The story-lines is well-thought out and written. I would recommend this book. “I received a complimentary copy, so I could give my honest opinion”
Highly competitive main male and female workmates with the main female character driven to succeed in her work to the exclusion of all else. The main male character is a smooth operator but has many layers to him. The rhetoric in this story is hilarious. A great romance story with just enough drama, angst and comedic relief to make for a highly enjoyable read.
Highly recommended read for avid romance readers

Oh what a tangled web we weave. Sienna and Zack have such hot chemistry that is so strong. They both have such dominant personalities and are so much alike. I loved the story as well as the characters. They tend to make you laugh just by being themselves. There are so many antics throughout the entire story that you just can’t put it down. It is extremely well written and the flow is amazing. This is definitely worth reading and doesn’t disappoint.

A well written storyline just what I expect from River. This is an even paced story so there is no lag. The story is about office rivals turning into lovers. The characters are not always likable but they grow throughout the story. The chemistry between characters is a slow burner that eventually explodes. The sexy scenes are scorching hot. The plot twist will keep you reading to find out how it all ends. I would recommend this book.

When you dislike someone to the point where it's hard to be in the same room with them, that is how Sienna and Zack are to each other. They both work for the same realty company and are the best at what they do. When their boss puts them together on a big sale, will they get along or tear each other's hair out? Their chemistry is out of this world and everyone sees it but them. In the end who will win? You'll have to read the book to see what happens.
What happens when the two top estate agents are put together on a project and they cant stand or trust each other? They go out of their way to sabotage each other... Accidental Rivals had me laughing out loud at the mischief Sienna and Zack got up too to undermine each others sale. This is a wonderfully entertaining read filled with such intense chemistry that you could feel the sexual tension seeping of the pages.

Ok I picked this up last night with the intention of only reading three chapters.....and then I woke up very late this morning with blurry eyes, a headache and having finished the blasted book!!! Yeah I kept on thinking 'ok when it slows down I'll put it down' well the action didn't slow down and the tension didn't leave off either! I loved this book and thoroughly enjoyed it -I just wished I started to read it earlier yesterday!
