Or a woman, for that matter. But in a post-apocalyptic United States, no-one is safe. Not even the hardest, fastest warriors this country has ever produced.
Because it's not just exhausted refugees, disaster-drunk crazies and the infected Jax has to deal with, let alone learning to play peacemaker when all he knows is war. A new group of survivors has just entered town, and they're not happy to find the New Republic government in charge. Suddenly Colorado Springs is like a bottle rocket, just waiting to blow. Or maybe an artillery shell...
But the combination of unrest and the brass breathing down Jax's neck is suddenly the last thing on his mind. Because one of his soldiers is missing.
And it's time to fight back.
Man Down is the gripping second installment in the Collapse: New Republic series. And book three is out now!
Riley Flynn is the kind of man who rarely gets to write about himself in the third person. He likes long walks on the beach, and falls asleep at night dreaming about the apocalypse - and how he plans to survive. Zombies and EMPs are Riley's kind of thing, but he has a special place in his heart for biowar, and the end of the Internet Age.
Fascinating look at the REAL problems after the "Collapse"
"Man Down" is even better than all the other "Collapse" books. It is filled with action, mystery and the sense that very little is as it seems. I still find Jax to be a great hero. He's not Superman but he'll do. "Man Down" fills in a lot of questions by making the "heros" ask a lot of questions and getting answers. Please read the first book in this series first. You might be a little lost at first with this one if you don't. Mr. Flynn +1 have again written a great book. Do yourself a favor. Enjoy!!
