GREAT story! Complex plots (pleural), amazing dialogue, well developed characters, non-stop action and lots of surprises on the way! Kylie chases her brother down while Grayson tries to draw Battia into the fold, and Winter’s working hard on Chimin. Of course, it IS Winter ...
An exciting time as everyone seems to be on a path for redemption to prove themselves or to redeem those that need saving. It seems like ages ago that we had caught up with Winter, Grayson, Lana and Kylie but each have their own role to play as they all race to try and bring the systems under the new freedoms offered by the Scipio alliance and help stop the spread of the anti AI war and an increasing influence from Orion. This feels like a return to home as we feel for each individual story and conflict. Well written and shows you why Cooper and Pike work so well together.
Another great story in the series. As the crew starts trying to clean up messes and deal with the remaining loose friends, things continue to be complex with a few surprises and disappointments for the crew along the way. A bit more emotional book this one than the previous, with more heartbreak for various characters. Mr Fizzle Pop gets to shine in this book, and in the process becomes a great character, adding to my favourites in the Aeon14 universe. At the same time, the other crew members still continue to remain strong characters, and with another complex and interesting plot with a few surprises along the way, adds up to a great read.
An enjoyable continuation of the; Kylie, Grayson, Rodgers, Rickets, Winters, Lana, Babbs and Mr Fizzle Pop tangent(s).
A lot of “loose ends” are tied up in this book and I expected a rushed and cluttered story, but I was very pleasantly surprised. It turns out this is just the closure of a chapter and a very entertaining and well written one at that.
Kylie and crew arrive to help clean up the devastation her father dealt when he wiped out a planet and millions of people. Grayson returns with a fleet and his rank restored. Kylie finds new clues as to where her brother Paul has taken his fleet of the Revolution to continue his father's mission to wipe out the SAIs. As she and the crew leave to find Paul, Winter decides to stay behind to help with the massive cleanup.
Fate doesn't always give us what we want or how we want it
Kylie and her crew found Paul but it wasn't fated to be a clean operation. Lives were lost but objectives and planets saved. Fortunately for Kylie (and us) none of the crew of the BQ were permanently lost, only loaned out. Lots of action to balance the ship load of drama. Good read!
This is all about connections with family wither they are blood or not. The important of having someone even if you don’t know you need them. It is so well written it was hard to stop once I started.
Another great read in the Aeon-14 story! With nonstop action, there were plenty of laughs as well. With a few shocks just to keep t interesting I can’t wait to see what Kylie and her crew face next, and FizzlePop).
Kylie and crew are heading to find her brother. Grayson and crew are heading to talk to the Empress. Things are not what they seem. Read to find out what goes on.
