Oh…Ms. Sienna Snow, you went and did it again. This series is so amazeballs and I am eating up every book in it. First book was terrific and Senator was so freaking good. Jacinta has her whole life and political career mapped out for her and the White House is the next stop in her political path. Then a political rival, Veer, has to come along and mess with her head and her heart and make her question what she really wants and if those goals and future plans are really what she had always wished for or is Veer what she wants.

This is so good, you have a strong woman who demands a lot of herself and is confident in herself and her career, this is a great theme to see in any book. Veer is an amazing dominate character that plays well against Jacinta’s strong will. This is a must read.-Review by Catherine(Catty)

My Readultery Life Review

I loved this new addition to Sienna Snow’s Politics of Love series. While it can be read as a standalone, it would harm to read the first book, Celebrity, so that when you meet the recurring characters, you have a better feel for them.

As a personal preference I generally shy away from Political romances, as the subject matter isn’t usually something that I enjoy reading about. However, in this series, while we have the continuous mention of politics, each book focuses on the characters and their relationship. Which is so great as I am able to focus on the romance and not the politics.

In Senator we meet Jacinta Camden and Veer George, both characters are key figures within their respective parties and each have high aspirations in their careers, namely reaching the White House. But behind closed doors, these two strong characters are hiding their love for each other.

The story follows the couple as they begin to release that maybe this relationship may not work and are they willing to give up the love of their lives for their careers. The story will have you hooked from the beginning with the pace of the story hooking you.

This story, while full of angst and secrets, is pretty quiet on the drama front, which in politics is somewhat unusual. For this alone I was able to focus on this couple’s relationship and enjoy the character development as I progressed along in the story, of course the hot love scenes helped to keep my attention focused on the characters.

Overall, I enjoyed Senator and can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

While I am a fan of Ms Snow, I will try to write a review without giving much away from this incredible storyline. Jacinta is on a once in a lifetime journey when things just start to come together and everything just starts falling apart. I encourage all romance reader's like myself who are looking for superbly crafted characters and a storyline full of twists and turns to read this book. I found myself glued to my Kindle throughout reading this riveting book. I encourage you to each watch how Jacinta and Veer's love story pans out. Can she succeed? Will they make it to their happily ever after? Read Senator to find out.

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! SIENNA SNOW is a First time AUTHOR for me and She Had ME AT THE VERY FIRST CHAPTER ALONE!! SENATOR is Thrilling Political Sexy Whirlwind Romance with Hardcore issues at Hand!! This Book is Beautifully written and it has fabulous characters with complex layers that intrigue you into their Worlds of Politics. Then throw in a Conservative Junior Senator and a Electing Independent Governor so you can watch the Fireworks fly but in Secret.
Jacinta and Veer story is So Emotionally Beautiful and the Sexual Chemistry is off the Charts HOT!! But both of them have So Much Riding in their Political careers, they are afraid their focus for higher political gain will explode badly to ruin their White House climb.
Jacinta Camden has been focusing to be in the White House since she was alittle girl; with her family growing up in the limelight. She loves her Conservative party and has a Kick-Ass attitude that Will Not Take Shit from No Man! Not to mention, her weakness for Veer and Hot- Weak in the Knees Sex that she is willing to let him go.
Veer George is longing to wanting a wife and children since he is Older. But is a One Woman Man and not wanting to marry & keep having an affair. However He is definitely set on having Jacinta but she conflicted between her career goals & her heart.

Veer is a possessive one, he doesn't like to share, "he snorted and then said against my ear, “I want you to know if that ***ck ever tries to touch what’s mine, I will break every one of his fingers.” Veer has some facts for his woman, “Indian people don’t blush.” He came toward me, yanking my legs out from under me and toward him." I liked this book, I fell in love with Veer and his dominance.

These are the reviews I hate to write, the negative ones, but sometimes I have no choice in the matter and this is one of those times. I promise I am not bashing the book or the author with this review and I am sure I am in the minority as well. I have read political romances in the past and have enjoyed them a great deal so I was excited to start Senator thinking I would fall in love with this series as well. Now I didn’t read the first book and maybe if I had I would have had a better idea on what to expect.

I have enjoyed romances with a side of political, not political books with a small side of romance like I got with Senator. Now maybe it’s just me but after a while I was so sick of hearing about her Republican opinion or the fact that her career came first and love second. Jacinta aka Jaci is career driven and please do not get me wrong when I say that I get it but I could never sacrifice my happiness for a career that may not be a given. She was driven, but at the same time, in my opinion that drive is misplaced. She is not only just hurting herself but the person who is the love of her life who happens to be a part of the opposite party. Veer wants to be with Jaci but also knows that her ambitions take more importance than what is happening between them. I just couldn’t get past the nonstop political opinions or comments, I wanted a romance with a political theme not a political book with a small side of romance.

I hate to say this but I honestly didn’t care at the end of the book if Jaci and Veer got together or not and for me that is a sad thing because I want the HEA, do they get it? Well you have to read the book to find out because I won’t spoil it. I don’t think I will be continuing this series no matter how much I was excited to at first.

A new-to-me-author with a plotline that could be one of today's headlines. Veer and Jacinta are lovers -- and one's the Governor of Texas and the other a United States Senator from Texas. One has wanted to be President since childhood and the other is about to become Vice-President. Believe me, there is plenty of under-the-cover sparks going on in the bedrooms, elevators, limos and anywhere there's a dark corner to hide in. Yet they still seem to be popular with their own parties and winners in the political arena. But as we all know, there are no secrets that the media won't uncover and there's plenty of underhanded play going on in the halls the nation's capitol as well.

A great cast of secondary characters make a bid for outstanding service as well. And I'm betting some will be making news in their own books in Snow's Politics of Love series.

I really got into the storyline and enjoyed this author's writing style. Will definitely give her backlist a look-see.

Love or Loss

Jacinta Camden, the Conservative junior Senator from Texas and 4th generation politician from a family dynasty, has to decide between her lifelong dream to become President and the love of her life, Liberal Texas Governor Veer George. She believes that allowing their relationship to proceed will cause too much political fallout, which would deny her the dream. Therefore, she instead intends to follow her longtime plan to eventually marry her childhood friend, Kevin , who has been dealing with his own relationship issues, and has similarly agreed to a marriage of convenience rather than love.

Veer George would have been willing to forego his own ambitions if Jaci would have allowed their relationship and he didn't believe that her need for him ran a distant second to her political aspirations.

My feelings toward Jaci were pretty ambivalent through most of this story. She was so rigidly fixated on her own plans that she refused to compromise or consider options that might still permit the outcome she desired, even though she was able to do this in other aspects of her family's and friend's lives. Cutting off her nose to spite her face was a concept she seemed to embrace when it came to her relationship with Veer. If it wasn't for Jaci's positive attitude and acts toward the people and ideals she cares about, I'd probably have felt that her misery with her situation was almost deserved. It was really satisfying to finally watch Jaci realize the error of her ways and act like the adult she was supposed to be.

The political arena has been an extremely volatile one, for a long time now, and this storyline reflects the deceit, lack of morals and hostility that seem to run rampant in dirty politics. The asserted desire of Jaci and her friends and family to be truer to their word and deed and rid the country of all the backroom dealings is a great basis for these books. That's why it was difficult for me to understand much of the decisions that Jaci often made regarding her own future.

Sienna Snow's Politics of Love series so far is two books of relationships to be completely obsessed with!! A series that will have you on the edge of your seat, enamored and become addicted too! After reading Senator, book two, I am already itching for the third novel, Commander! The romance, the angst and love with consume you... be ready.

"Jaci, what are you doing to me?"
"I'm seducing you, Governor George."

The drama is never at a low with in the Camden family. The emotional struggle is real between politics and love for all members, but in Senator, it's at an all time high for Jacinta Camden and Veer George! Both have high achievable goals to the White House with different political beliefs. Their love for one another is kept at arms length and in the shadows...if only there was a way to have it all?!

Everything I ever wanted was within grasp, and the one thing I needed was completely out of reach.

Sienna truly has grabbed you with her endearing and angsty storyline that embodies you from the moment you begin reading this fast paced, soul searching, female in charge story. I could not put this book down for a second and when I did, I didn't want too. I really enjoyed seeing all the political family members and couples from the previous book Celebrity, meeting new players that I assume we will meet again for the next heart racing love affair as well.

This truly was a fantastic and unputdownable book!

Jacinta Camden is the new face of the Republican party and a movement that is attempting to move a little more to the middle. Yet she is up against some fierce competition and new enemies after becoming a Senator and defeating Grey Decker.

But as difficult as that is nothing seems to compare to the hurdles in her own life where she is in love with a man she can't have due to the impact it would have on her career and she is destined to marry a man who is one of her best friends but in love with someone else.

Is there a way Jacinta can have it all or will her enemies cause her to lose everything that matters the most to her?

This was such a good book and I am loving this series!

I loved how determined Jacinta was from a very young age to become the President and she worked very hard at achieving her goals. Yet somewhere down the line she fell in love with a man that could cost her all political aspirations and she really struggled with what she had to do.

I loved Jacinta's friendship with Samina and Tara and I hated how that was thrown into the press by Grey hoping to discredit her. He was very determined to ruin them all and I knew he wouldn't give up.

I loved Jacinta's secret relationship and the two were so incredibly hot together!! They had so much passion and respect for each other but they were each battling about what they wanted for the future and unfortunately it was not the same thing.

Every time the two split it was so heartbreaking and I found myself brokenhearted along with Jacinta. The struggles she went through were huge, especially as a woman!

The end was absolutely awesome and I can't wait to see what is next!

First let me say I’m not a reader of political books but I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book for giving a review. Am always looking for new Author's and think I have found one with Sienna. This is the first book I have read of hers and if she could keep by interest with a book about politics and family history on both of the H & H sides it must be pretty dam good.
I read a lot and lots of different authors, but this story has it all. Jacinta has planned her life for being the first women president since age 8. Then she meets Veer, the best friend of her brother. Both Jacinta and Veer struggles against wanting each other from the start knowing early on it couldn't work till a weekend where neither can say no. Now they have to keep secrets, have enemies that want to not only expose their affair but ruin there career's and bring there friends down too.
Neither want to let the other go but both can't see a way to have it all. Veer is older and wants a family and children but is a one women man. He can't marry other and keep having an affair with Jacinta. Jacinta wants Veer but can't let go of her dream, being on different party sides doesn't help.
I haven't read the first book, Celebrity but have seen other reviews that say it's best to read in order
I still like this book and my go back and read the first one.
This book is written for adult's who don't mind lot's of descriptive love scenes. Am a grandma
and I can tell you some had me hot and bothered !!!
Hope you give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This is my second time reading something from Sienna Snow. The second book in her Politics of Love series, it focuses on Jacinta Camden. Jacinta is now a senator with aspirations of making it all the way to the White House. But fate and the universe threw her a curve ball in the form of a tall, dark and sexy Governor Veer George on the opposite side of the political fence from her. Their affair was volatile and all consuming. However, Jacinta is adamant that their affair will only end in disaster to her well laid plans of becoming the first woman president. She couldn't see any way of having her man and her end goals. Her heart and soul ached for Veer but her whole life had been groomed to take over the White House. There was no way they could work. She wasn't willing to give up her dreams for any man. She had to let him go. She hadn't counted on how much her heart would hurt and how much it would make her question all of her decisions in life for one political goal.

Y'all I'm not even joking I usually won't touch a story involving politicians and politics but the first book Celebrity hooked me in. Then this one really reeled me in. I laughed, I growled at it, half swooned over the heavy emotions and steamy moments. I even cried a lot, I'm talking honest to God ugly-cry tears. I loved this one a lot more than the first one. It really got me in the feels so much. I'm looking forward to the next one! I'm so glad I gave this series a try.

I love Sienna Snow books so when I got my copy of Senator I was just so excited . Jacinta and Veer story was one I dont think I will every forget , I found myself constantly rooting for them even though , there were times where the odds stacked against them were so high and you wonder how this would even work out, but as usually the extremely talented writer that is sienna snow reminded again that love will find a way no matter what. Jacinta and Veer's love story was sexy , addicting, heartwarming and just so much fun to read and reminded exactly why I love romance so much . Besides the romance I just loved the overall story , this one is definately a page turner that I could not put down and a very interesting glimpse into what the political world is like , but at the the same time it doesn't over power the story , it just amazes me how Sienna Snow is able to just weave all that she did weave into this one fantastic story. Senator is a sexy , addicting ,romanctic read and Iam so excited to get my hands on the next book in this series , we got hints about whats happened next and Iam just so excited to jump into that one too, if your wondering if you should pick this book up the answer is YES as soon you can ! go do it no

A sexy thrilling political romance that's well written with fabulous characters that are layered and well developed. The story is heavy on politics which is intriguing and the romance between Jacinto and Veer revolves around their high profile lives. Jaci is focused on her career as a junior senator on her way to the White House. Her aid in electing Independent party's Veer as Governor is in conflict with her Conservative party. Their romance is a secret and if the relationship was made public her climb to the White House would be affected. I love her career focus and kick-butt attitude but she thinks she has to bail on a future with Veer (and the hot sex) to achieve her goals. Veer is wonderful and ready to give up everything for her. So swoon worthy and sexy! Veer wants a wife and a family and wants it with Jaci but will he get it? There are terrific secondary characters from the first book in the series and I'm sure we'll see others featured in future stories. This is a marvelous story with great family dynamics, political intrigue, sexy love, emotion and a satisfying ending. Will Jaci delay her lifelong goals for Veer? Hope she gets it all! I sooooo loved this book!!!! Veer and Jaci have a very explosive relationship and it's a shame they have to keep a secret. The odds are clearly against but you can't stop cheering for them. You really do hope they figure it out or at least I did. The one thing I loved was that despite her dream Jaci chose love and chose to deal with consequences that followed. The author really knows how to draw you into this story. I had to force myself to put my Kindle down and sleep last night. Yes I was that invested in this book!
I loved how possessive and determined Veer was. He knew what he wanted and very clearly voices his opinion on what he wanted with Jaci. He let her have her space and was willing to let her go. Both of these characters have charm and smarts about them. You mess with them and they use every power and connection they have to destroy you. Jaci, Veer and their friends have a close connection and family aspect between them. It just makes me love them more. I'd love a Kevin and Chris book cause I'm curious about their history and how they will make their relationship work. I'd also love an Asher and Tara book as well. I know, I know I want a long of things from this series! These characters are so much fun to read that I just want more! I can't help it!

This is a truly wonderful book. I believe this book actually deserves 5+ stars. The story revolves around politics. The story is well written, with unexpected crises and some corrupt characters who want power and don’t care what they have to do to get it. I was absolutely hooked from beginning to end. The characters are realistic and amazing, even the evil ones are amazingly evil. This book gave me an insight into the expectations that the public and political parties have for their representatives. They are not free to love who they want if they are aiming at higher office, especially the highest office of all. The story is also about a prominent political family and their friends and what they experience to be successful. I felt anger, frustration, fear, love and heartbreak. In the end representatives need to decide why they want to hold office and how far they will go to get it. What will they sacrifice and how far over the line they’re prepared to step. This book was insightful and intriguing. I loved it and I’m sure you’ll love it too.

Senator is the second book in the Politics of Love series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I would recommend reading book 1 (Celebrity), because there are recurring characters.

This book is about Jacinta Camden, a woman from a political family, who has aspirations to become President of the United States. She is a Senator from Texas, and is in love with, and having a secret relationship with, a man she has known for a long time. Veer George is in love with Jaci, as well. He is the Governor of Texas, and the brother of Jaci’s best friend. Veer has higher political aspirations of his own.

For various reasons, Jaci and Veer don’t feel that they have a future together. This book follows the two in their struggles to find love and balance in their lives.

I think the characters were well-developed and extremely likable. This story has love, intrigue, several villains, plenty of angst, and hot love scenes. There are a few upcoming books in this series, and I cannot wait to read about the next couple.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Jaci and Veer’s story!!

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest and unbiased review. Jacinta Camden is under the opinion that due to her views, political affiliation and her dream that she cannot be with the man she loves forever. Jacinta has dreamed from childhood to be the first woman president and all her actions have been geared toward this one goal. Unfortunately (or fortunately) Veer George becomes a monkey wrench in this well thought out plan. What started out as a mutual scratch quickly became a love for all time, but because they are at polar opposites in the political arena Jacinta does not see how she can have both the love of her life and the presidency. It doesn't help matters that the Senator who was exposed in "Celebrity" is seeking revenge and conspires with the present President to help him get Jacinta.

You must read this engrossing and enjoyable book to find out the answer as to whether or not Jacinta can have both her true love and her childhood dream. I look forward to the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this romance set within the arena of American politics. I’d not read the previous book in this series, but discovered that wasn’t a hindrance as the author provided sufficient backstory when necessary to further explain the current situation. I found the story to be quite compelling and full of the political lobbying, game playing and back-stabbing that I had anticipated. The characters were well-defined and realistic. While some good-old-boys were stereotypical in their bias towards the women politicians, the women were clever, strong and determined to achieve their goals and dreams. I enjoyed the steamy and passionate relationship between Jaci and Veer and the struggles they faced in balancing a secret personal life with a demanding in-the-public-eye career. The story is well written with plenty of drama, angst, intrigue and secrets. I’m looking forward to the next book, Commander and the resolution of the emotional tug-of-war between Tara and Ashur.

I have been patiently waiting for Veer and Jacinta’s story and I was not disappointed. I had a total crush on Veer from book 1 when he made an appearance. He was sexy, swoon worthy and dominant..yes, yes and yes please. His and Jaci’s relationship was a very complicated one. When you get deeper into their history and lives today you understand why things were the were they were and why some decisions were made. I wanted to give Jaci a big wake up call at times but I understood the situation.....eventually. This book was HOT, it had me on the edge of my seat and I did not want it to end. A lot of the twists and turns I didn’t expect and those are the best books. I love Sienna’s writing, the way she writes her characters and the realistic political world she creates. Her female leads are some strong, determined women. I’d definitely recommend giving this book a read. Everyone needs a Veer in their life. Can’t wait for more.

My oh my! Sienna has something good here with this series and it’s only the second book and I’m already hooked and oh so emotionally invested with all these amazing characters! Jaci and Veer have so much going on that’s it’s another crazy roller coaster ride of emotions and it’s only more emotional as they go through the motions. It’s not easy for either of them and what it means for the two of them to be an actual couple in the outside world and not the bubble they made for themselves even knowing that once that bubble was popped and they were no longer in its safety they new it had to end because Jaci wanted her dream and Veer wanted a life with Jaci knowing she couldn’t give it to him in that exact moment.

Oh lord all the feels with these two and it was so good with everything going on around their careers and friendships!

Jacinta Camden has been in love with her political opponent for years. Now that her plans for the highest office in the Nation are solidifying, she needs to make a choice and deal with the consequences for the rest of her life.

Will she chose her career? Or will love win for the first time in her life?

I really liked the story. I think it was pretty different from other political romances I've read. I'm pretty sure this story was nothing like I've ever read.

As refreshing as it was, I couldn't quite connect with Jaci. I absolutely get her reasons and thinking but after a point I was just annoyed with her. I wanted her to stop and just love Veer. 😭

I absolutely LOVE Veer. He is so thoughtful and considerate and loving. And done even get me talking about his alpha side. I adore his love for Jaci and his willingness to give everything up for her. That's true love right there.

Intense! That is how I would describe this one. I usually stay away from books that have a political back story because I find them shallow and unbelievable. This is the exact opposite! It is so well written and detailed that I started to wonder if the author has some sort of inside to this crazy world of secrets and scandals, or just a really good imagination. Either way, this is a gripping tale of people who live very different lives when they are in public or behind closed doors. It is about deciding to follow your head or your heart and all the emotional issues that come with that decision. It is full of emotion, real struggles, secrets, enemies, suspense, and sexiness. I am so glad that I gave this one a chance and I'll be reading book one while I very impatiently wait for the next one.

This is the first book by Sienna Snow that I have read. I admit, I usually stay away from political books, but I was offered a chance to read an ARC, so I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! This is the second book in a series, and I would recommend reading the first book before reading Senator. For me, becasue I didn't know the back story of some of the characters, the book was a little slow during the first couple of chapters. However, once I got the basic understanding of who Jaci, Veer, and the rest of the group were this book took off. Senator is a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings as we follow Jaci and Veer learn how to manage their secret relationship along with reaching their political goals. I'm vested enough in this series that I want to go buy the first book in this series so I can learn more about Jaci, Veer and the rest.

Senator by Sienna Snow is book 2 in the Politics of Love series. I loved book one so was excited to read the next one in the series. It’s full of love, intrigue, political shenanigans and hotness.

Book 2 focuses on Veer and Jacinta. Veer is the Governor, possible next VP of the US and a liberal. Jacinta is a US Senator, and the future of the conservative party. Jacinta has dreams of becoming president one day, but being in love with someone across party lines could ruin her career aspirations. Their relationship has been a secret all this time. Is love enough? What is more important career or being with the man you love?

Jaci & Veer have such a strong force between them, but Jaci knows what she has to do. For the sake of both of their careers, they must break up.
They are not happy apart, but do love and politics mix?

Follow their emotional story in Senator. It’s full of angst and secrets. Secrets have a way of coming out, but Jacinta meets them head on, and has plans of her own. She is a strong, fierce woman & knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it.

I can’t wait for the next book in this series. It’s the first romance and politics story, but even if you are not into politics, this is a series not to be missed.

I've been waiting for this book ever since I read the first in the series. I LOVE a good political romance story and this one is it! this story focuses on Jacinta whom we met in "Celebrity" is is from a political family, currently a US Senator with dreams of becoming the first lady president for the conservative party. She will allow nothing to stop her dreams. Except for Veer, he is the very definition of everything that could ruin her dreams (or so she thinks). Veer is the complete opposite of Jacinta's very core beliefs but their chemistry is undeniable. Determined to end their affair before it ruins her, Veer is just as determined to push Jacinta into the relationship he wants and prove her wrong. I chemistry filled love story, that you cant put down. Another fabulous read by Sienna Snow. Read this book!!

I hate to admit it but I absolutely LOVED this book. I'm not a political person or better to say that it's not a subject I usually read for a reason but this one just intrigued me enough to open my mind.

It was fantastic! Veer is the total package with a promising career, a dominant masculine personality and the woman he loves (although that is a bit of a challenge for him).
Jacinta is strong, determined and willing to do what it takes to be the next president. Even if it costs her everything.
Two different parties, one hot love affair, and a future that is worth fighting for.
I have to admit defeat on my part, because although political romance was not something I ever thought I could seriously enjoy......Sienna Snow has made her book and characters something I now find I want more of.
