This book gave me a great understanding of the need for God's Holy Spirit. He is not some force but a person whom God has sent to help me in my daily walk. I need Him if I'm going to grow and live successfully as a Christian. The first time I read I had misunderstood something about the book. But, I reread recently and I am completely blessed by the ministry of God's Holy Spirit and the privilege of access to Him.

“He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” -- John 7:18

The above quote is Jesus speaking in the temple during the festival of booths. We have no record of Jesus boasting of his deeds, instead, he always pointed to the Father. When a pastor or leader is boastful of his own works, beware.

“But may it never be that I would boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through [a]which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” Galatians 6:14

Also Paul, when he wrote to the Galatians said: Don’t allow me to boast in anything, but the cross of Jesus. Again, biblical behavior leads us to boast of Jesus, not our own deeds.

I dislike the arrogance that comes through in this book. It seems that when one truly becomes immersed in the Holy Spirit, as Paul and Jesus certainly were, they become humble, and emphasize God, rather than their own achievements. They set aside human agendas and opinions for God’s agendas and opinions. If you are going to read this book, be ready reject the emotionalism, boastfulness and false teaching.

I dislike an emphasis on “hyper emotional” religion. If you are looking for something to “make you tingle all over” (a phrase used several times in this book) perhaps you are looking for an experience not a relationship.
While there are emotional and experiential aspects to religion, a fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians is self–control. If one is out of control, they are not acting under the Holy Spirit's guidence.
Some people are prone to ups and downs, and to depression. If you base your religious beliefs on feelings, as soon as you have a down day you think that God has left you. God promises, “I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5

Also, Benny Hinn describes the Trinity as being like the sun, divided into 3 elements: sun, light and heat. This is misleading. The Trinity is made up of 3 distinct persons, as described at the baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:13-17.

You may be interested to know that Benny Hinn raised money for a private jet, and has made many false predictions. He predicted a mass ressurection of the dead in ’99, he has predicted the end of the world a couple times, the death of Fidel Castro, and the destruction of the homosexual community in the US. There are Youtube videos of these predictions, although I didn’t watch them.

So my final evaluation: Ignore Benny Hinn and his teaching. Which is what I plan to do from now on.

This is not just a book, this is a journy with the Holy Spirit itself! i Loved it, every page really makes you evaluate your commitment with God. Also you see how much Benny Hinn went through before becoming the successful man that he is today. I recommend it to new christians as well as old ones this is the kind of book that every christian needs to read at least once in their life!

I never had anyone teach me about Who the Holy Spirit actually was. I thought He was just God's Spirit that made us feel a certain way. I definitely didn't know that I could build a relationship with Him. But I know now and knowing that has changed my life forever! If you're not saved, just become saved or have been saved for any number of years, this book is a MUST!!! Jesus Himself said that He was going back to the Father and was sending the Holy Spirit in His place. For no other reason than THAT should be enough to want to know Who the Holy Spirit is and how we can know Him intimately, which brings great knowledge of Who Jesus is to us, peace in our entire lives and power that is activated on contact of our obedience to what the Holy Spirit tells us. We don't hear the voice of God today as our forefathers did, like Abraham and Moses. We hear the voice of the Holy Spirit. Don't you think you should get to know the One Who's talking to you about what God wants for your life?

The book is a master piece that addresses the many error and misconceptions we have been having on the person of the Holy Spirit. Its a grass to grace, and then grace to grace relationship the Man of God has had and still having with the Holy Spirit. The book encourages intimacy with the third in Trinity. It brings us to a place of longning for fellowship with God the Father. I had to read and reread the book again. So many of the questions that arises within a believer's heart have been generously answered, and beyond that it introduces us to a whole new level of walk with God. Go get it at any christian store. God bless you!

I may not agree with everything about Benny Hinn. Mostly his way of spending and his questionable relationship with his wife. But that does not mean the validity of the move of the Holy Spirit in his life. No body is perfect, and the sooner we learn that the better. With that said, this book is really empowering! The only book I can recall that I finished from beginning to end in one day. I had a pot of coffee and this book. I could not put it down!

Edit: He got back together with his wife and publicly apologized for not preaching the full Gospel.

Few people have perfected the art of "fleecing the flock" as well as pastor Benny Hinn, whose faith healing fund raisers have earned him a $42 million dollar net worth and a private jet.

The book is nearly 200 pages of nonsense. Aside from being a crook and a charaltan, Hinn seems to be a pathological liar; he claims his father was the mayor of Jaffa, which is clearly not true. (see for example http://www.deceptioninthechurch.com/h... )

This book was a quick read but also a complete waste of time. Instead, I would recommend this video clip of Hinn's insane and obviously drunk wife Suzanne preaching about a "holy ghost enema"

The first time I read it, it was Sunday morning, I was about to get ready to go to church and there was still some spare time left and so I'd got my hands on reading Good Morning, Holy Spirit. I must say, this book makes my soul search for more adventure in terms of my spiritual life. Its amazing to know that we can know Him even more and He can be even more real to us than ever before. The supernatural experience with God is nothing compare to what we can enjoy with our flesh.

I had some hesitation before reading this book but I'm glad that I read it; the impact it has left in me only God knows. I have always had trouble considering the Holy Spirit as a Person plus had numerous misconceptions of His Being; this book corrected the majority of these misconceptions and given me a push in searching out the Scripture on this Person—the Holy Spirit Who I really need in my life. I thank the Holy Spirit for leading me to this book. All Glory belongs to God. Worth Reading.

It was worth rereading. 09/24/2019

When I first read this, I had struggles with the Person of the Holy Spirit; from His equality in the Godhead, His role in the universe, His form, His presence, and so much more. Besides this, like most people, including Christians, I still did not understand the Father and the Son.

This book reminded me that I was not Spirit-filled, despite my striving to be the best possible Christian, an impossibility with the self. So someone mentioned this book, I checked it out, loved it, forgot about it. But God doesn't forget. I started craving for more of the knowledge of God; thank Him for His persistence with me. And then, in my walk with God, I was struggling with anxiety, fear, insomnia, heaviness, and their accompaniment, of course, brought by the accuser of brethren.

One night, as I had an insomnia bout, suddenly all lights went out, and I was left with nothing to do, having been watching some preaching on the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. This was months after a prayer and fasting in our church, in which I had desired to be filled by God's Spirit. But fear held me back. This night I suddenly felt some Presence in my room, a warmth, peace, and unspeakable joy that I do not understand still. I found myself smiling beyond control, and so happy, while I praised God with words I did not understand. I was so excited. And I knew the consequence of this is the Person of the Holy Spirit. O! He is so awesome. What the Bible says is peace beyond human understanding can only be brought by this Mysterious Person, the Holy Spirit. I love Him so much.

This past week reading it, I've been reminded that He is a Person, beyond even the Spiritual gifts He has bestowed me with. And He wants me to know Him, walk with Him, talk to Him, seek His counsel, and to fellowship with Him, every single moment of my life. And this is my desire, to walk with Him. He's taught me so much about our Lord Jesus Christ and the Father, but I know there is still much more He wants to show me in His Word. O the depths of God's mercies that He would walk with a wretched being like me. Who is there like unto You, O LORD?

I will walk with the LORD all the days of my life in the Spirit, crucifying my flesh daily as He makes me to be like Christ. The Father seeks those who will worship Him in Truth and in Spirit. My expectation is that He will find such a one in me.

May the LORD be praised for ever.

I first came across this book when I was in middle school. While reading it, some thoughts I had were: 'If I prayed as much as Benny Hinn did, does it mean that I would be able to talk to the Holy Spirit?'

Now I recognize this as a rather gnostic idea, in the way how mortal efforts can lead up to a different spiritual "level". Also, many of Benny Hinn's "prophecies" are proved to be incorrect.

The spirituality of a Christian cannot be "proven" upon the basis of "feelings" and experiences; it should be scripture. My thoughts with this book are of some disgust and sadness to the people who will read this and passionately seek for the wrong things.

Intimate relationship with Jesus begins when we invite Him to be our best friend and have Him in our everyday moments. Just loved the intense liberty that Hinn expresses about God being love, perfection and someone who is always present, who is waiting for us to ask Him to have the day with. I don't remember when was the first time I've read this book. But I missed the Hinn's words once again. I will "eat" this book in about 2 days.
