Kallikkatu Idhigasam is a biography of almost Vairamuthu’s entire village. It reminded me of the differences between me and (his) villagers in terms of facing hardships.

I can not restraint myself from mentioning my love for the protagonist’s name. “Pey Thevar” (பேய்த்தேவர்) 😃

At one point he mentions the villagers face hardship after another and their souls wait for happiness which is like a drop of rain, which is too lost shortly.
That’s a line I was pondering upon.

Their love for soil and agriculture keeps them going. The money I get of my work is a driving force for me. But work itself is a driving force for them!
