It's two years after graduation and Heaven and the Allendale Four are all grown up. However, things didn't work out as they had hoped. Sometimes love isn't enough. Real life got in the way. Lifelong ambitions, different dreams took over. Sometimes HEA just isn't meant to be but that doesn't mean it wasn't real. Sometimes beautiful memories are all that is left at the end and then sometimes, you get a second chance at Heaven.

The Road To Heaven is unlike any RH I have come across to date. It nearly broke my heart at times. Heaven, Oliver, Jackson, Anderson, and Hayden all have happy, successful lives. They have great careers, friends, homes. They have all made their dreams come true but they are all missing something/someone important. The sorrow over loves lost, the heartache, the loneliness haunts each one of the A5. This was all too real. Can they recapture what has been lost? Should they even try? Is it foolish to think it can work as it once did for any of them, some of them, all of them? The emotion nearly overwhelmed me at times. I worried along with them, I hurt along with them. I became the invisible 6th member!

I need to make a special mention of Heaven. This character is brilliant. Her significance cannot be ignored. She is so relevant. Her internal struggle with anxiety, the bullying she faced, her strength, and her vulnerability, her succumbing to weakness and finally her triumph over it. She's a woman. Strong, confident, successful but a piece of that damaged little girl still lives deep within her and always will. It's perfect that she acknowledges who she once was without shame and protects herself from ever slipping back. Her acceptance and her embrace of who she is is beautiful. Her character growth sets a powerful example. She not only persevered, she lives and she thrives. She is one of my favorite fictional females in today's literature.

Heaven and the Allendale Four hold a special place in my poetic heart. I fell in love with them from the first chapter in book one and it's bittersweet reaching the final chapter of this book. I have already shamelessly begged for a future novella. To be continued...

As much as I LOVE this story, in all, this book just felt like it dragged on and on. It was slow, and didn't really explain much as why they all broke up and then there was the supposed planning revenge on oceanside that never happened.
Idk. I didn't like this book as much as the first two.
I AM glad they are as they are now but...idk. Meh.
Thank heavens I have the box set because of not, because of this book, I would have stopped here.

Another page turner!!

Here we are again! Back to Allendale and the five fantastic souls that have just been so amazing to read about! I love this story so much. I don't like stories that aren't single story with a HEA, if the book is gonna have the exact same characters falling in and out and in and out of love through four books I almost always move on without even buying it. But something about these keeps me coming back. I can't help myself. I have to keep reading and then, when I start, I can't stop. I have to read and read until I reach the end and then go into book hangover and hate life that I have to wait for the next one. I seriously can't stop with this series. All of them have come to mean so much to me. Especially Heaven! Omg, to see her transformation in this book was BEYOND amazing!! To see her catching herself before she could start to slip into a bad place. To see her being so grown up. And I love love loved the new characters. Lea and RJ just too adorable. I love how Oliver is just ready to go, Jackson has learned some major sweet patience. And Hayden, poor broken babe but Heaven to the rescue. Such major character development to all of them especially....dun dun dun ANDERSON! Sweet mother of all things holy and even a few things not Anderson is now a man! A grown ass man who faces down his demons and fear of change! I was so friggen proud to be a part of their journey. I cannot wait to see what else is in store for them!

Here we are again on the third book and my overall opinion hasn't changed.
Rather than repeating myself too much, for anyone interested you can find my review of the first and second book.

Besides the overall editorial issues, this third book included a whole chapter which started as Oliver's POV and then went on to talking about him in third person.
Another miss on the editorial team was describing one of the Allendale 4 as sharing the MC with four other men, when really it should have been 3 seeing as he was the 4th.
Ultimately, there's retelling of events that were wrong. I had to backtrace to previous books just to make sure it wasn't me.

Look... I might be a picky reader and sure I know its not as easy as it seems to write a book, I'm also sure some people wouldn't even find these mistakes. But It's the little things like this that can take a book from good to.. well bad. It's not just about the overall storyline for me and because of these mistakes, I just couldn't connect.

This one made me cry at first it was sad in the beginning and then I cried happy tears at in the end. Such a roller coaster of emotions through out this series so far. Heaven and the boys are out of college and all doing their own thing. Heaven is doing well in her chosen profession of makeup/ FX makeup for celebrities in Allendale. So are each of the guys 2 own/run their own gym in Allendale while the other 2 are chasing theor dreams in their sports in Atlanta. I love how this book deals with other social issues like homosexuality and discrimination, along with dealing with the issues of the past. Also I love how its switched up and Heaven is there to support the boys as they need it instead of them babying her. This is a must read series for me and I'm sure it will be on my reread list indefinitely. I can not wait to see where the Allendale 5's story is going to go now in the next book!

When I picked up this book after finishing the second I was so excited and couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Then I started reading the first chapter and was so upset. This was not where I had expected this book to start let alone where I thought the relationship would ever go. It was so hard to push through the first few chapters just for the soul fact I wasn’t happy about what had happened. But I HAD to push through because I needed to know the why and how and pray it all worked out. This was such a rough journey for all of them but after finishing the book it was so worth the read. I think they all came out more grown up and knowing what they wanted more than ever. I still think these books end way to abruptly and need more in depth but things aren’t left hanging I just want more details. Id love more details for the spicy scenes to but I guess I’m greedy lol.

I love this series so much, I battle with depression myself and to see how far Heaven has gotten to survive her illness is a amazing and I feel hopeful that I can get there too. I was really hard pressed to read this instalment because I knew it would be hard to read about the Allendale 5’s broken relationship but as always anything as strong as the love they have for each other can always be mended and become stronger. I love how this book was purely about the relationship and some of the awkwardness that comes with the territory when you’re not sure how things fit anymore. I also liked the fact that we got to see where some of those bigots ended up later in life. And lastly Amber, I’m so happy for her she deserves all the happiness gone her way! It will be sad to read the last book in this series and say goodbye to these characters but still I can’t wait for the next book!

Book 1: A Piece of Heaven
Book 2: Holding on to Heaven
Book 3: The Road to Heaven + Book 4: Seventh Heaven included in the 3rd book…

The Allendale Four is a reverse harem, new adult romance series that has Heaven and her four main men navigate the ups and downs of first love, bullying, social issues, self harm. During the course of all four books, Heaven and her guys go through a lot of growth and self development from teenage years to their 20’s. Angel Lawson crafted a captivating series that had you vouching for Heaven, Oliver, Anderson, Jackson & Hayden to have a HEA. Well worth the read. I’d rate this series a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. [April 2022 Read].

Two years on and the Allendale five have gone their separate ways, but a twist of fate or three see them reconnecting unexpectedly. Written in multi POV, it is great to get everyone’s perspective on the events unfolding. I absolutely love the drama and angst, it kept me glued to the page throughout. It’s well written, with plenty of everything good in a book, including some twists and turns along the way. This is a fabulous series and I think that this is my favourite book in this amazing journey of the Allendale Five

We do not deserve Angel Lawson!

Angel Lawson has made me fall in love with not only Contemporary Romance but Reverse Harem Contemporary Romance! Books are supposed to make you feel something and take you on a journey and let me tell you that’s exactly what she does! I have cried, laughed and felt like I was her MC (main character). Her story has gripped me from the very first page and it is unputdownable! It’s been a serious privilege to read these books and I can’t wait for the next one and for whatever else she puts out. Do yourself a favor and check out this author!

I really enjoyed this RH series.
It was not on my top 5 list of RH series, but for being a contemporary RH it was well done.
In this book it moves forward 2 years where the guys and Heaven split and when Hayden has an accident they are all brought back together

Road to Heaven, book 3 of the Allendale Four series, is easily my favorite story line. While not specific, the book starts about four or five years (I'm assuming they have 4-yr college degrees) after book 2 when things have changed drastically between the Allendale Five. It's a story about re connection, communication, and accepting change. I loved the sub-plots and I'm excited to see the author has a fourth book in the series coming out later this month (Nov 2018). This whole series is worth a read.

What a sweet story

This series definitely got better as the books went on. I will admit that this book seemed a bit rushed, and there were several grammatical errors, but I appreciated that this book highlighted love lost and then found again. At the beginning of the book, we find that the A5 isn’t together any longer; they have no graduated college and have moved on - without each other. However, this is a story about how, in the end, love wins out and hearts that belong together will find their way back to each other.

Such a beautiful story

Really clever and thought-provoking way of covering mental health and self abuse triggers. Heaven certainly struggled, but the Allendale 4 boys saw something in her that was worth fighting for. They supported, protected, and loved her, and even when things fell apart and they drifted apart, they kept they kept their eyes on her. By the end of book 3 they were back together again and I'm really looking forward to the final piece of this adorable love story

Wraps the series up nicely.

This book picks up a few years after college. Heaven and the boys decided to call it quits and they started their adult lives apart. Coincidence brought Heaven and the boys back together. This is the story of that journey. I loved seeing Heaven more stable and centered. She deserved to have an HEA. It just took her awhile to get it. I loved seeing them settled into their adult lives.

Absolutely stunning!

Book 2 left me unsure of whether or not I wanted to continue this series, but holy crap am I glad I did! I’m so glad to see Heaven being strong and making a life for herself. She learned to be her own person and not let the bullies or her parents rule her and she really took charge of her mental health. The guys grew up a lot as well! I’m so glad everyone found their way back to each other.

Loved it!

Another awesome book in series. We see how A5 is doin and how they find themselves as adults. What really means for them in their life and how some thing are just meant to be and one road could lead to another but in the end you can be right where you need to be. Can’t wait for the next one!

Jumping ahead

I can't believe how far Heaven has come in her life. I would have liked to have known the time difference from the previous book. I felt there was another book missing between the 2 I had a hard time keeping up. I was saddened by the tatters of the relationships. Unfortunately, this needed to happen so we can see the evolving of the relationship with the guys.

Another epic book in this series

I cannot get enough of Heaven and her men. Once again reality and romance in a contemporary RH setting are addictive and make me love the story all the more. This book does a great job of showing how relationships grow and change but putative can endure. Truly exceptional and loved every minute

Not my favorite of the series.

Loved the first two books. Sad that I can’t say the same for this one. I was disappointed from the beginning when there was a huge jump in time from the last book.

The Road to Heaven

Book 3 finds our Allendale 5 in a disastrous situation. I mean.. they're older and they're all doing well, but worlds apart. Finding their flow again made this book an easy read. A few steamy situations. I'm really enjoying this series.

This series went exactly where I was so desperately hoping it would go. I loved where they all ended up as adults, each one of them chasing their dreams and achieving their goals. And the sex.. EVEN BETTER.

I am not gonna lie, I read the description and couldn’t get myself to read the whole book because I didn’t want my heart broken since they weren’t together so I just skipped to the end and I loved it.

Rough

I had a hard time getting into this one. And I felt like questions were left unresolved. For explanation, problems to resolve and then just no other choice as the answer! I also wanted some Anderson steam and never got it.
