Depressingly-single, thirty-something Meg Oakley is the loveable girl next door. Secretly an aspiring writer of erotica, she is nowhere near as sexually experienced as her hobby might imply.
Publishing her work under a pseudonym and never sharing her secret, Meg believes she has guaranteed anonymity. That is, until she wakes up one night to find herself blindfolded and restrained by a mystery stranger who has but one intention; to act out one of the fantasy scenes that Meg has published online. The guy gives her the night of her life, leaving without a besotted Meg having even seen his face.
To her great delight, it turns out that their one amazing night is not a unique experience as the stranger finds numerous opportunities to visit Meg and act out an array of her most secret sexual desires. A potent alpha male, he always takes full control of a blindfolded Meg, so she is unable to identify him. Until one day, much to her amazement and surprise, she discovers who he actually is.
This standalone book is the first in the English Bad Boys Series. The next in the series is ‘One Hot Wynter’s Night.’

I can't think of a proper review right now. Only that this book was HOLY WOW amazing with a lot more expletives I can't use for a review. Read this now you won't regret it. So glad I found this author! Onto the next book in the series!
Ok I have to say more to submit my post, so Jack is perfect in his role as Megs mystery lover - and although he has his **it- head moments, he is an awesome lead male of this book x
Originally I thought this was a collection of stories but it is not, it’s just one storyline.
Meg is an erotica author that writes under a pseudonym. Jack is the brother of her old college guy friend Luke. Meg doesn’t know Jack but she has seen him once at Luke’s house. Jack snoops through Meg’s stuff and learns about her erotic writing and decides to make one of her stories come to life. Aside from the initial encounter being creepy, he did give her full opportunity to opt out. He prevents her from finding out his identity by asking her to wear a blindfold every time they are together. The story includes soft BDSM with wrist restraints (rope), blindfolds and D/s verbal commands for Meg. Restraints not used at every encounter but blindfolds and being commanded by Jack are the norm. Lots of teasing and build up to the actual sex. Meg is not submissive the entire time, she does take the lead a few times. Dialog was NOT cheesy.
This was a rather short book with a basic storyline compared to the action fantasies I normally read.
Amazing well written erotic scenes but lacking a storyline
This story made me frustrated.female character meg described As a lady with a backbone but in whole story she was being a puppet in a hand of Jack (male charactera.k.a. a secret lover Mr x.). When jack dumped her and later she discovered his true identity, when Jack ask her to come back to him,she just ran to him..so meg's actions were not matching with her character.. besides that I must say extremely well written erotic scenes..
This was a fine novel that is entirely smut with no plot. I struggled with the unrealistic aspects of this dynamic, especially the way it started. And the resolution was too clean for me given the circumstances. Overall, this was a work I would have really enjoyed as a less-experienced reader. I would love to see what this story looks like if the dynamic is allowed to be messier and more rooted in reality.
Although I could of done with the OTT exclamation marks though but it didnt bother me at all. It was actually pretty decent even though lots of people are commenting thats its only about the sex.
