Since the incident at my brother's club, Amy and I barely speak. She is my employee and—more importantly—my unmarked mate. Amy is also a demon, and therefore an expert deceiver, so she pretends everything's fine while I plot my return into her life.
Tonight, when I show up at my bar to help Amy close her shift, there’s another bartender in her place. I stop by her house, and discover her belongings are gone. When I dig through the trash for clues, I find the pregnancy test.

I think this is one of those stories that is more me, than the actual story. It wasn't bad, just not for me. I may try another of her books at a later date but not today. Safety gang: Definitely not safe as the h defended a man of rape. Later on we see that he was actually guilty, and she looks into his memories and the memories of one of the women and it's a little descriptive, not a whole lot. Push/pull in the beginning but only cause he was trying to teach her a lesson. Sorry, others may like this. Just my personal opinion on what I like.

Just What I needed. A little supernatural fix for my Sunday.
I am still somewhat new to Milana Jacks. But I have to say I have yet to be disappointed by one of her books. Every book I read of hers is amazing. I can't wait to read the next book.
I was super happy to find out that Milana was creating a series from the short story ‘Sweet Dirty Wolf’ which, contrary to all of my GR friends, I loved! I thought it was super funny and out of the norm which I appreciated.
RGW picks up with Dirty’s brother Pryus, and his unmarked and unaware mate, Amy. Pryus owns the bar from SDW and Amy is a bartender at said bar. When Amy ends up pregnant, she takes off to try and think through her options. She’s not totally sure how Pryus is going to react because he’s been trying to mate her, and she’s been relentlessly shutting him down. See, Amy has some secrets, and when she mates with Pyrus, they will share a psychic bond. Amy isn’t exactly ready for Pyrus to see into her mind and find out the kinds of things she’s done as a demon. But, she loves him and is preparing herself to be mated to Pyrus, but she needs to take care of one thing first. The one time she didn’t use her powers to be able to read someone’s mind, she ended up letting a sexual predator get away with multiple abuses to many women. She intends to make up for that mistake but doesn’t want Pyrus to be able to read her mind and see the limits of which she’ll go to in order to right this major wrong. This part of the plot is what really ended up selling this addition to the Dirty Monsters series to me. Amy has no problem getting her hands dirty, and I really liked that she wasn’t a black or white character. And it turned out Pyrus wasn’t either. These 2 were made for each other.
Another great one by Milana. I would highly recommend this series if you enjoy PNR and don’t have a problem with a dark streak through your romance stories.
I received a copy of this story from the author, and have provided a review of my own accord.
Pryus is a wolf shifter in the MC and Amy is his unaware demon mate. This was a very original story for me, which I appreciated. Amy was a high powered attorney that left her practice because she was a little bit to good at her job. She goes and starts working for Pryus and unknowingly he ends up being her mate. He gets jealous and shuts his place down. She fends him off every time he goes to bite/mate her. These two are pretty ornery with each other, but it works. They are crazy about each other. She takes off to make some money with her old law firm and he goes after her. She is trying to right wrongs and appease her demon.
Safe read with two ornery ass mates. A dominant wolf shifter and his submissive demon mate. Story drama, but no ow or om drama. Original storyline, at least for me. We do get an epilogue and an hea.
Super short read. I didn’t like the writing style and found myself a bit confused because the writer doesn’t do a good job of explaining the jumps in time or the situation that’s happening in the story at any given moment. This is what I call an INSTA story. The reader just has to INSTAntly believe and understand what is going on with no logical explanation. NOT for me.
It’s great for someone who needs to unwind for a few hours and doesn’t want to invest in something long. It’s like and episodic book. Lots of missing info about the characters and the reader needs to accept a lot of gaps in the story.
What is a demoness to do when she finds herself pregnant and needing some quick cash? She takes off to find away to get alot of money fast without telling the baby-daddy. Wolf shifter Pryus has been giving his mate the cold shoulder though his wolf wants to claim its mate. When Amy doesn't come into work he goes looking for her and finds a pregnancy test,.... and its positive. Now he has more than just his mate to chase after and bring home.
Good story, several sub-plots/story arcs. They served to keep things interesting and I'm guessing will lead to additional stories. I'm on the fence about how much I like this book, so I'll be keeping an eye on the series to start with and see how things go. I did like the main story line, it's definitly hot and steamy between the wolf and his demoness, and I liked both of their characters. Flaws and all.
I liked this story. The Alpha was a true Alpha and the woman was a bad *as in her own right. Even though I liked this story I have no desire to read the others. The sex scenes were just to much for me. I like a strong take charge man in the bdrm as much as the next woman but dang! Not to that degree.
Disappointed. Was expecting more than just a quick tease. Was working up to being a great story, starting to get a feel for the characters. Then all of a sudden it was over..? Too short, hoping maybe its just a prequel or something and I haven't realized it yet?lol
I have missed feelings about this book. It’s not as good as the beast series and there is something missing from it. Maybe it’s because we don’t get to see them before when they were a couple. I dk if I will read the vampires book.
I like a short read from time to time, and this one fits the bill. It's a good read though. The chemistry between Pryus and Any is explosive, even when they are mad at each other.
I loved dirty’s story more but pyres’ was cool I wish we would have explored her demon side more and had more couple intersection but it was a pleasant ride nonetheless
You know those times were time Is short but you have to get a moment to step away from reality? But you do not have time to commit to a 200 hi page book or more. Milana Jacks is your answer.
I only gave the story 3 stars because it was a short read. Nice story but more vulgar than I am used to reading. But I did enjoy the different characters.
The guy just put me off this one. I think she was way too nice to him and needed to tell him to mind his business and bugger off instead of going along with his no se.se. Also, I don't think it helps that the reader comes into it when the "relationship," or whatever it is, is already established.
A fast read that begins a new series, I enjoyed this quick novella, it has a good hook and a fast-paced and engaging plot. The characters drive the story and it has some cool and different kinds of supernatural elements. It moves smoothly for the most part but does get confusing near the end, after she goes to Malibu. The confusion didn't detract my interest, but it did slow me down for a piece. It's definitely worth a read!
I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy of Real Good Wolf. All unholy hotness wolf-man! I suggest reading Sweet Dirty Wolf before this book. It helps fill in a few things that were glossed over in this book. It helps a few things make more sense. This book is a stand-alone, well written love commitment story. This book also does a brief set up for the next story, but is its own story. Loved it!!
