I received an ARC of this book and I am beyond excited about this series!
When I first started it I loved the anticipation of whether or not Eva or Ian would meet or if the other person was even real. They are both questioning their sanity and the people that are around them seem to be watching their friends get lost in a dream world. But the book is SO MUCH MORE than just some dream romance between two people.
You quickly realize that they are both very real and that they are both very connected. The "why" behind this is both tragic and beautiful. You also see that there is far more to Eva as she starts to realize her potential. It
I don't want to share too many details of spoilers, but I will say that Eva and Ian have a long road and a lot of work ahead of them. They will have to work hard to stop the evil that is around them and to prevent others from sharing their fate.
I am SUPER excited for the next book in the series because you are left with a pretty big cliffhanger and I can't wait to see what comes next!

I loved the concept of the book, it was very different. It had me very invested in the story. I was really constantly looking forward to what would happen next and where the story would go.
The writing style was personally not my favourite. I also felt that the story was dragging in a few places. I wish that the story was a little more fast paced.
Other than that I loved the story line and I think its a really cool concept. Looking forward to the next book in the series!
I found I was really confused but intrigued at the same time whilst I was reading this one. The concept of the storyline was certainly different and unique but I felt that it was like reading the second book in a series and not having read the first. It raised so many questions but sadly didn’t give me enough answers for me to fully grasp the how and the why.
I just finished and loved this book. I hope one day maybe a second will be written to continue Ian and Evas journey, but until then I will look at other books from Colleen Nye.
Wow.....what an interesting and unusual story!! I really enjoyed the unique story line in this book. I don't know how to describe this book without giving away anything. I don't usually read this genre, but I would definitely read more of this. It was almost mind blowing to imagine something like this actually happening but someone out there is probably actually considering or already attempting the exact same experiment. There was a bit of everything in this book....love, excitement, deceit, betrayal....I really did enjoy it. I thought Kyle's reaction was a bit unrealistic. He took it way too well, but otherwise I can't think of anything I didn't like. I hope there is more to the story though since there were a few things left unresolved.
