*This box set includes three full length, bestselling novels, plus an exclusive epilogue novella.*
Six best friends. Three love stories. One big city. Countless laughs.
WITH A TWIST West Williams has been friends with Lily since the day she moved into their building and he saved her armoire from a swift, sudden death by staircase. Their friendship has always been easy, the boundaries clearly defined. With neither of them willing to risk their relationship, they’ve drifted happily through the years as companions, never considering more. Until they do. And that realization changes everything.
CHASER Everyone knows you should never say never. Cooper never saw Maggie coming--she was just his best friend’s little sister, the curly-haired, freckle-faced girl from Mississippi who was absolutely off limits. Maggie never expected to find her fiancé banging her maid of honor an hour before she was set to walk down the aisle, but life’s funny that way. The only option to save her sanity is to get the hell out of Jackson and move to New York where her brother lives. The only downside: Cooper is there too. And she just doesn’t know if she can stay away from him — the filthy rich, dead sexy playboy who’s allergic to commitment.
LAST CALL Patrick Evans is no stranger to consequences. When your mother walks out, your dad drifts away. When you leave home, you’re on your own. And when you run away from the girl you love, you lose her. He finally has an opportunity to rebuild the bridge he burned with Rose, and it’s not one he’ll take for granted. But he’ll have to fight for her, even if it hurts. Even if it means he’ll walk away brokenhearted. Because deep down, he knows that she’s it for him. The trick will be to get her to admit she feels it too.
HAPPILY EVER HABITS Who has babies? Who's getting married? Who has a horrible pun battle, and who tosses their cookies? Find out in this exclusive 30,000 word novella that follows the Habits crew through their very own happy endings.
As a four-eyed nerd with a bad perm, I was no one’s dodgeball pick, but I had a lot of friends. Frodo and Bilbo, for instance. Kristy, Stacey, Claudia and the gang (iykyk). Once, in the third grade, I wrote a teen murder mystery inspired by Christopher Pike. On solving my mystery in twelve pages, I decided I was a terrible writer and should never, ever do that again.
Fortunately, I didn’t take my own advice.
I write romance for that feeling you get at the end, like you’re standing on top of a mountain with a backpack full of hundred dollar bills. I write romcoms because is there anything better than banter and grand gestures? I write because I love to create and I love words. I love books, and I love stretching my imagination. I love love, and if you do too, bring your coffee and have a seat. I think we’re gonna be friends.
Omg that novella was everything I wanted it to be... and everything I didn't know I needed! Staci captured the uniqueness of each couple and gave them even more happily ever after moments.
If you have bought/read these books in the past and you're on the fence about buying the boxset just for the novella, I'm here to tell you that IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT! I'm in love with them all over again.
I loved this series and all the characters. With a Twist is about Lilly and West who have been friends forever. Their story was sweet and the perfect friends to lovers story. Chaser book 2 about Maggi and Cooper. He is the secret guy she has been seeing and isn’t sure if it will work out. She isn’t ready for anything but a no strings secret hookup. Last Call is book 3 about Patrick and Rose. Their story was full of ups and downs and has you rooting for them.
This series is so good and I highly recommend it. If you loved the show Friends you will like this series. Reading this series made me think of that show because of bing in New York and the friendships they have.
I loved this series by Staci Hart! You can find my reviews for each of the three books below all three were five stars!!
With a Twist (Bad Habits #1) Spinning and spinning...
Is how the room will feel as you read this story of ballet, literature, and liquor!! What a great start to the series, you can see little bits and pieces here and there of the next books. Six friends in New York City, a brother and sister, two sisters, and two more make up the group. They are direct, mostly honest, and I can't wait to read more! And now a bit about the story...
Lily and West have been friends forever. Lily has been lusting after Blane for what seems like forever. But he just isn't cutting it. It has been such a disappointment. West has a friend with benefits arrangement with Christine. Of course they aren't close friends since non of the others have ever heard of her. When West overheard a conversation at a party that puts the end to that little arrangement. Now to spin onto the next party and see what twists the liquor has in store...
Favorite passages: - At least he’s pretty. - “When you look behind the curtain after dreaming about something for that long, there’s a lot of room for disappointment. You never find exactly what you were looking for.” - I’d rather have been curled up in a vat of sardines or a hamper full of dirty jock straps. - “Okay, sometimes I have a plan. So, first — drink that because wasting alcohol is unacceptable.” She pointed to my whiskey. - “Baby, I’ll eat Brussels sprouts for you.” She chuckled. “That’s true love, right there.”
(Bad Habits #2) She can run, but can she getaway....
Oooh I loved the second installment of the Bad Habits series... though I'm not sure our characters really do have them... This second story centers around Maggie and her mystery man, Cooper aka her brother's best friend. We do get insights to the other characters too, but we learn the most about Maggie and Copper. And now a bit about the story...
What could be so bad about a billionaire wanting to date you? For Maggie, Cooper is dangerous. He has a reputation as a manwhore, he never takes anything serious, and she just got out of an awful relationship. But all those things make him great for a no strings secret hookup. Only one problem, he doesn't want it to end and their secret is slowly escaping.
Favorite passages: - calling West overprotective was like calling a great white shark ‘cuddly.’ - The stylist will have all the clothes, so just show up in whatever. Naked, then. Got it. I’m sure the photographer will be pleased. Really, though. Try to keep your pants on. No promises. - “Always thinking with your Mini Cooper, aren’t you?” - Never mind speak of the devil — I couldn’t even think of him or he’d appear. - “But it’s not so sad as someone dying.” “That doesn’t mean you’re not grieving. You’re mourning the relationship. It’s the future you constructed that died, and in the end, you still lost someone you love.”
(Bad Habits #3) One final chance...
Last Call picks up after over half of the habits gang is paired up. Leaving Patrick and Rose to smolder at each other. You'll find laughs as Rose tries to date, broken lamps when she stops dating, and sadness as life threatens to pull it all apart. And now a bit about the story...
Fear is a dangerous thing when it comes to love. Patrick had a loveless childhood, escaped but found the wrong crowd before he ended up at Tonic and with the Habits group. Anyhow, he loves Rose, but he doesn't want to lose her so he leaves her. Rose loves him, but he left and then paraded another woman into her bar. Now they are dancing around each other. What will happen when they are forced to live together???
Favorite passages: - But perfect didn’t exist. It was a lesson I’d learned long, long before. - “So,” she started, overly cheery, “how mad are you? On a scale of one to homicide?”
Six best friends. Three love stories. One big city. Countless laughs.

Staci has been a lot of things up to this point in her life -- a graphic designer, an entrepreneur, a seamstress, a clothing and handbag designer, a waitress. Can't forget that. She's also been a mom, with three little girls who are sure to grow up to break a number of hearts. She's been a wife, though she's certainly not the cleanest, or the best cook. She's also super, duper fun at a party, especially if she's been drinking whiskey.
From roots in Houston to a seven year stint in Southern California, Staci and her family ended up settling somewhere in between and equally north, in Denver. They are new enough that snow is still magical. When she's not writing, she's reading, sleeping, gaming, or designing graphics.
WITH A TWIST Another friends to lovers story. I am not a dancer, so I usually steer away from books about them. I just cannot relate. That being said, I could not put this book down! This story shows us that the grass is not always greener on the other side. It always shows us how what we truly need, might just be right under our noses the entire time. I loved this story. It was an excellent series starter. I need more! I will be recommending this book. Absolutely! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ CHASER She suffers heart break at the most incovienant times imaginable, and he was there for her. She needs a new start with no distractions and his playboy was fits the bill. As long as feelings are not included. She's his best buds little sis, and completely off limits. This story really writesnits self, but I am glad Staci Hart is the one behind the pen. Everything she writes s gold. This story surpassed the first! It just keeps getting better. I will be suggesting this title! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ LAST CALL This is a second chance story. I first met rose in the book Wasted Words. This is the events that happen directly before. It was fun to see how she came to be at the point she was in the spin-off. They hinted to this story through out that story. When he makes a dumb mistake, she finds it hard to forgive and forget. The problem: they share the same group of friends and are constantly around each other. He wants her back, and she's done. It was fun watching him fight for her. That's ultimately what we all want. A guy to fight for us. This story delivers, 100%. It was a great ending to a trilogy, that I want to keep going, and it does. In the form off a Spin-off. I love that Staci Hart throws Easter eggs at us. Its adds for an amazing and entertaining read. This is going on my list of books to share! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HAPPILY EVER HABITS I have not read this Novella yet, but I am excited to see where all of these amazing and unforgettable characters have ended up!
I absolutely love this series, the friendships are so well written that it makes me ache for a tight-knit group of friends like the bad habits crew. Each couple has their own trials and tribulations but with the help and love of their friends, they weather the storm and find everlasting love. West and Lily are the super sweet friends to lovers, Cooper and Maggie are the ultimate bachelor and scorned southern beauty and Rose and Tricky are the second chance broken love story. The writing has you laughing one moment and has your heart breaking the next.
Included with the box set is the absolutely heart warming novella Happily Ever Habits. After spending three books with this group of friends, this was the perfect way to see all the couples again. Like seeing an old friend, these extra stories made me laugh, smile and brought tears to my eyes not wanting to leave my friends lives again so soon. Tricky and Rose still have my heart and their story was just like I hoped. Wonderful boxed set!!!
I don’t know how she does it, she has a gift that can only be seen by reading the magic that are her books. I’d previously read the Habits books, long before the novella came out and for fun decided to re-read the series again.
Some series of books can only be read once, they lose that special feeling you get after you’ve read it the first time, the excitement, the anticipation, but not Staci’s books. It was like being thrust right back into the Habits group, you become an honorary member of their family.
I reached the novella full of hope and wonder at what happened to the characters I’d grown attached to, only to end up (mostly) balling my eyes out at the end, I have a soft spot for Tricky and Rose, especially.
If you haven’t read this series, don’t delay any longer. It is seriously so freaking worth.
These were the first books that I read by this author in 2017. I read them under KU, and bounced on the opportunity to own them in a full collection. There's something special about the friendships and interconnectedness of these characters. From book 1 where we meet Lily and West, to book 3 where we meet Rose and Patrick, you'll get sucked into their lives and unique stories. What makes these stories extra special is the side characters that you can't help fall in love with. But also, the book world that Staci creates makes you want to there. So many unique quirky details that make these books Divine. 5 stars, highly recommend.
I honestly felt the epilogue novella was too cookie cutter in my opinion. I understand it was novella length and had to address 3 couples. It just seemed that the three girls got pregnant super easy. Maybe the author just didn't have time to get into the realistic struggles of infertility (In my circle of friends besides an accident baby every single friend that is a mom struggled to get pregnant) but compared to the rest of the series this book disappointed me.

WITH A TWIST - Lily and West are amazing and I loved this couple. The growth of their relationship from friends to lovers was amazing. Loved their connection.
CHASER - Cooper and Maggie were awesome. I love then w playboy can be reformed.
LAST CALL - Tricky and Rose had a complicated past but I love a second chance...
HAPPILY EVER HABITS- I was so happy to catch up with this group and see where life took them. Amazing!
For the books that started my obsession with all of Hart’s words, I could not have asked for a better more satisfying ending to these characters stories. Catching up with he whole Habits crew felt like talking to old friends. I laughed a lot, shed a few tears and I swooned hard over all of the happy endings.
Wether your just starting this amazing series, or you’ve read the books several times over like I have , you’ll absolutely fall in love with everything you read.
I couldn’t put the set down, it should come with a warning that you shouldn’t have other responsibilities you’ll be ignoring. Each story is very unique to the couple, yet so compelling. My favorite part was the depth of the conclusions you get on individual story, they connect plus you get more! And the new novella was a great follow up to where each character is now, and somehow Staci’s writing stays consistent to the characters.
THIS IS THE ULTIMATE ROM-COM TRILOGY. I sound a bit fanatical, but I honestly can't get over how much I love these characters! Staci Hart has a way of writing friend groups you can't help but desperately want to be a part of. I was practically ready to scour the streets of Manhattan to find the Habits crew and ask if we could hang out. These books will suck you in and steal your heart. I teared up more than once and laughed more times than I can remember. Definitely a forever favourite of mine.
This collection had me hooked from the beginning. I fell in love with this group of friends and following their journey! I was so excited to read about their future in the last book in this set!
** only read Happily Ever Habits as I already read the 3 books.
The novella was super cute! I loved seeing a glimpse into the future for the 3 couples. They are all super cute and I'm so happy to see them start a new chapter in their lives! Absolutely loved!!!
I loved this I have read each one of the books and loved them all so was very happy to find out what happens in each of the couples lives after each book ends. It was well worth it I completely loved it.
I read all of these books before so when I saw the novella was coming out, I had to buy the box set. So cute - I loved reading the happy endings for these couples :)
I wanted to check in with the Bad Habits gang and read the novella epilogue. It’s basically an extension of each couple’s HEA and what their future together looks like.
Staci gave us these gems and now it’s a box set that gives us beautiful endings and insight into the lives of these people we you truly associate as real. Can’t wait for your next series
