If Sherlock Holmes were a woman, he'd be Loveday Brooke!

In Drawn Daggers, Miss Brooke must investigate a case involving mysterious letters sent to a vicar. These letters consist soley of a drawing of a dagger in the first letter, and two in the second. What will happen if he recieves a drawing of three daggers? Is the vicar doomed? Why would anyone want to threaten him? Loveday uses her common sense and conversational skills to find the truth.

This is a great feminist story from the Victorian era!

Not a bad mystery with a bit of a surprise towards the end. Not an outstanding story, but a good one none the less and worthy of a listen. Once again the narrator Simon does a good job of relaying a Victorian feel to the story.

Just a good detective story with a lot of women (and not just as victims, refreshing)
