A collection of essays, short fiction and observations on the Sherlock Holmes stories. Many of the essays were originally delivered/submitted to Sherlockian societies over the years.
Some of them were fascinating - the essay about aniseed and drag hounds was particularly interesting. Other topics discussed theories that Holmes was a physician, how Holmes was educated, and animal behavior in the Canon.

I only deduct a point for some of the formatting, not the content. In some of the essays, the formatting was off (omitting indentation) - this is an issue I've seen a lot more lately, don't know why.
