The worst has happened. Texas has fallen. It’s up to Ava to get it back.
Without the support of Lone Star State, the Alliance has no hope against the powerful and corrupt regime which has hijacked the majority of the United States.
Still mourning her loss, Ava has seen more death and destruction than she ever bargained for. She’s finished with fighting, but she may hold the key to America’s survival.
An unexpected visitor implores her to take on one last impossible task. If she turns down the request, it could spell the end of freedom and the Alliance, but if she accepts the challenge, victory is by no means guaranteed.
Ava has endured as much heartache as she can handle, but if America dies, if the Alliance fails, things will only get worse. She has to make a choice, and she must act before the clock runs out.
As with all books by Mark Goodwin, this book contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this book might not be for you.
Mark Goodwin is a Christian author and host of the popular Prepper Recon Podcast which interviews patriots, preppers and economists to help people prepare for the uncertain times ahead. His previous fiction series, The Days of Noah spent several months at number one on the Amazon best-sellers list in multiple categories. His first series, The Economic Collapse Chronicles, also hit the Amazon best-sellers list in several categories.
The 21th century in the USA gives us a chance to make America great again. America is divided like no other period in our nation’s history. Socialism is raising it’s ugly head, some people in the liberal party believe that system of government will work here, even as history has proven otherwise. Conservatism is facing a battle from the Left Wing Party to keep the values of our fore fathers alive and well in the USA. Time will tell us who wins this battle. The events that are fiction in this novel could actually come to pass.
Ava has been awoken to what being a patriot means and she will again find her truth, skills, and faith tested as her fight for everything she loves will be tested .Mark does a brilliant job.of completing Ava's saga ,k. Fantastic page turning excitement you'll find yourself captivated and !at even catch yourself yelling at the characters through the book .
This book was great. I will say not to read this series out of order. The books are more like a new chapter rather than a new book. If you have not read the previous ones, you will not know what is going on. I would like to know what ava and her family and charity do later. It would be interesting to read a book of what happens to them a few years after the war

I loved this entire series. I couldn't put it down. It was exciting and suspenseful. I love the fact that Mr Goodwin starts every chapter with a Bible verse and the stories have a Christian foundation. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for good clean literature as an alternative to what's out there these days.
Really enjoyed the whole series. Started with the book of Noah then the Elijah series and wrapped it up with Ava. Mark did a great job of intertwining elements of faith in his stories.
Ava's Crucible has been another outstanding series from Mark Goodwin. This series takes a look at American society today and looks at the way things could go in certain circumstances. The realistic nature of the scenario adds so much to the compelling nature of this series.
The end of this series. Hopefully the Nation will come together before anything like these books describe. So grateful for an author who includes scripture and the Lord's miracles in his books!
It shows what Gods people can do through him in bad times.
This the sad time this country could face if God not brought back to America. I know the book was fiction p, but it could really happen as this was written.
Great 3rd book, read this book, follow Ava and friends through the destruction and saving of America as we know it. Then make sure you get the prepper survival instructions. God bless America. Thank you Mr. Goodwin.
America's second civil war. The scary part? It's not that difficult to imagine it happening! Maybe mankind needs to think of the future and how not to have another civil war.
Gripping, on the edge of my seat reading. Days of Noah, Days of Elijah. Absolutely some of the best books I’ve ever read. Always waiting on the next set. Mark is right in the mix of what’s happening to our country right now
Like all of the author's books that I have read, which is most of them, this is a great book. I literally felt emotionally tied to some of the characters. I could not put any of the books in the series down.
Watching the news now and the book reflects it too well. This is not a future possibility but rather a prophecy of what lies ahead for these United, divided, states. Unless we “turn from our wicked ways” we will find that we live these pages.
A really good trilogy. Enjoying the Christian foundation. Steady action. Some in this genre read like textbook prepping with some story thrown in. Gets dry and tedious. This series was fun and never dry. Sorry its done.
With the strife in the USA going on for years and the division between God loving Patriots and those who have embraced Socialist Propaganda could there be a 2nd Civil War brewing? I’m wondering how these “Last Days” will play out here in America.
Mark applies scripture to potentially catestrophic events for current day America based on actual events and personalities. We need to stand up for Jesus to prevent America's fall. The signs of portent are all around us!
Highly satisfied series. Realistic interpretation and plot, great characters, and so many twists and turns that pop up out of the blue make this series a regarded read!
The story line is captivating and full of action. I really enjoyed reading it. I dont believe the states that stayed neutral would be the southern states though.
