I read this book as part of the anthology, The Good, The Bad and The Ghostly. I found it very interesting. I moved in the middle of reading this book. I was really enjoying the characters and the storyline for about 9 chapters. I had to stop reading for a few days and I found it hard to get back into the story. If I hadn't been so distracted, it's possible that this would have been a 5 star rating. I would have liked to know more about Gave though.
I really enjoyed this story. I read it as part of anthology of ghost stories and romance in the old west.
One of the characters works for the PSI Agency as a ghost hunter. It starts in 2016, but he is thrown back in time to 1881. He meets his great, great, grandfather and grandmother. It's in interesting concept, and Charlene Raddon handles it well.
If you like westerns, and romance, and ghost stories, you'll really enjoy this.
T.P.S.I. Agent Burke Jameson travels to Eagle Gulch, Colorado to investigate a report of ghost activity at a house where a murder took place in 1881, but gets far more than a ghost hunt when he time travels back to 1881. He came in search of the ghost of Horace Halstead and finds a ghost of a woman and a horse; they both help him in his quest to put Horace at rest.
Burke meets the lovely Clorinda Halstead, who believes she’s a widow since she shot Horace at an earlier date. Good old Horace isn't dead yet and this sets the adventurous time-travel romance between Burke and Glori.
The story has bank robbers, a gang holding up a stage coach, a series of local thefts, a jail break attempt and ghosts in the form of a woman and a horse. The author used her imagination and created an interesting story in A Ride Through Time.
Modern day ghost hunters who ride a ghost horse back in time....That's an adventure that I might be willing to try - providing the horse doesn't look evil. Burke takes a leap of faith - but then the ghost horse doesn't exactly look like a ghost horse. She looks solid and real - until she takes him to the house he's supposed to be investigating for a famous ghost and when Burke dismounts and looks around a bit, he finds the mare has just disappeared.....So begins his adventure.
Love happy endings and this was a very happy ending. The story was great and it didn't have any thing in it that made you wish you didnt read it. I am glad I read it.
I have read just about half of this book and think this is another a book that is not for me based on some crude references and situations. I think they are indicators of what is ahead, so I have stopped reading and am moving on to other books. Heaven knows there are plenty of other books.
I adore time travel especially set in western America. Wow a great book and realizing that finding one's heart mate no matter in what time or spa e-books it's the finding that counts.
Another wonderful time travel romance. I loved the way time travel and ghost were combined. I could read it over and over again. I hope Charlene writes more time travel romance!
Investigating a haunting gets sidetracked when the investigator steps through time to a different haunting. Distracted by the obvious differences in daily living and pretty young women, the investigation continues.
Such a wonderful time travel romance. The characters were well-conceived and leaped off the page. I really enjoyed the time travel part. Highly recommend!
This is a time travel, love and ghost story. A ghost hunter travels back into the past and meets his great, great+ grandfather who is a Marshall. He meets a young woman who is torchered by her supposedly dead husband and falls in love with him. Does he win her over and stay or lose her and leave? You need to read this exciting story to find out.
