The aim of the conference from which these proceedings have evolved, was to bring together basic science- and application-oriented scientists with particular interest in the controlled synthesis and engineering of organic materials. The scope is intentionally broad and covers various aspects of doping and recognition in nanostructured molecular materials. The following topics are sensors, transport phenomena, organic superconductors, materials characterization and synthesis, devices, theory, assembly of molecules.

Christiane Ziegler (1942), is a French Egyptologist, curator, director emeritus of the Department of Egyptian Antiquities of the Louvre Museum and editorial director of the archaeological mission from the Louvre Museum at Saqqara, Egypt.
