Sweet, short and somewhat cheesy fluff. Not much going on or angst but it had an endearing quality to it.

This is instalust, instalove, instababy, and yet is not fated mates.
Honestly, everything was set up for fated mates, and I’d have been more forgiving of their “connection” if that were explicitly used. As is, this is just weird.
The trash can omega, poor baby, is too dingdong to live. He can’t figure out why the dumpster he dives in is suddenly organized, and why there’s entire meals packaged for takeout with the garbage. Sweetheart…babycakes…
Then, we go from zero to 60. Darling dipshit, running from an abusive alpha, decides to fall into bed and get instantly pregnant with the new alpha he met five minutes ago. Please, stop. You don’t know anything about him! But I guess you sure showed that seekrit alpha registry that you're not infertile! ...congrats?
The alpha is creepily possessive. He’s feeling his connection to the trash can omega, based on seeing parts of him in grainy security camera footage. Bro. Stop being a creep. Not to mention that whole acting like he’s better than all the other alphas, and then jumping an extremely vulnerable omega (homeless! starving! in hiding! abused!) five minutes after he met him with no conversation.
The inanities! The repetition! Minute details are explained, with exacting care, and then….repeated three times. I feel like I could make pepperoni rolls now.
Overall, this was a solid miss.

This seemed like it might have been a cute, light read. But:
1. there are a few editing issues, such as: I was going explode
2. insta-love.... as in, Jace falls for Dai from seeing him in his grainy black & white security footage
3. Dai seems pretty TDTL, considering he doesn't find it suspicious that a dumpster that resembled a dumpster mysteriously had perfectly good food neatly stacked in takeout containers in it
4. they hook up on the first day, Jace suggests getting pregnant as a way to get off the blacklist and even though Dai isn't sure if he is ready to be a father, he decides he wants Jace to be the father of his kids, because there is no better man (even though they've known each other for just a few hours at this point), so screw the condom
5. Dai's asshole is referred to as a "rosebud" a few times. I don't know about you, but I don't associate "rosebud" with a tight asshole requiring stretching, I associate it was a prolapsed anus.... you know, where the term "rosebudding" comes from. Because a normal asshole doesn't look like a rosebud, but a prolapsed rectum does. So, not really sexy. Maybe seek medical advice.

An enjoyable story.
I liked this book, is a nice non shifter mpreg story. The plot is good, a little too much insta love maybe, nice mcs, some steam and very little angst.
I liked the writing style, but this book needs a better editing, there were some misprints but nothing tragic!
I recommend this book to mpreg lovers, it's a nice one to spend 2 hours!

This was a sweet low angst story. I almost walked away after the first two chapters. Dai kept repeating himself and the Jace started telling the same things. Fortunately, I kept reading and it got a lot better.

This was a short yet sweet read with just enough heat and drama to keep you hooked.
The author developed the characters really well especially, when you take account of the length of the book.
My heart broke for Dai especially, for what he had to do to survive. Jace was sweet, considerate and protective. My heart melted when he made extras and put it all in containers for Dai to take away.
This was a cute story and I really enjoyed it.

I think that I liked this story, but I’m conflicted about some things...
I’m not sure how I feel about this book. On the one hand, I liked the characters in Dai and Jace, but I had some issues with both the editing and the plot of this book.
The first chapter repeated itself - the whole thing was pasted into the book twice. Then Roger was no where near as big a deal as he was set up to be and I have a lot of unanswered questions. For example, why was Dai running when it sounds like his parents would have been there for him, and certainly wouldn’t have taken Roger’s side in things? Why didn’t we hear about Dai’s skills/occupation before the book was 60% of the way done? And with his skills, why couldn’t he freelance? What happened to the photos that he was taking for Jace’s cookbook? What significance did Aggie and Candice (?) have in Dai’s life? I mean we aren’t really ever introduced to them in the book, they are simply described in the beginning, and then they suddenly have access to the apartment later on in the book - but we never actually see any significant interactions between them and Dai. Basically, there were a lot of choices that Dai (specifically), but also Jace made during the course of this book that I didn’t undersatand because we didn’t have enough background information to discern what was going on.
I also found it odd that the author chose to skip over things via a jump in time that I was expecting would be the major plot driver (i.e. Roger from my comment above, and the complications from the pregnancy). We hear that there are challenges in Dai & Jace’s life together, and then we skip a few months/weeks into the future to learn that it’s all been handled off camera (so to speak).
I know this all sounds super negative, but I actually finished the book with a smile, and certainly plan on reading the other books in this series. So I think that I liked the world that was introduced by this book, I did like Jace and Dai as a couple, and I am curious to see Brewster and Trygg find their mates.

January 28, 2019Blah... I am really not sure why I keep grabbing reads like these. Every once in awhile you get one that’s perfect but they are few and far between... It’s unfortunate because sometimes I just want a sweet, fluffy omegaverse short story...
I am honestly not even going to rate it...
I will say that either the kindle format had a glitch in it or this book was never even proofread... Once you hit 9% the story pretty much starts all over from the beginning... it confused the hell out of me for a minute or two.

Ok I loved this story. I'm originally from WV and to read a story about an Alpha from WV who makes Pepperoni Rolls!!!! was just the icing on the cake for this book. The story of this omega getting a second chance with a kind, loving alpha was just perfect. To also be able to see his old alpha get what is deserved was just a delight.

Running Toward Love
I am a sucker for line Omega stories. This was the first work I've read by Corie Rosling and I can say I truly enjoyed it. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'd just read a book about a Runaway and found this one both similar & quite different. As in the other book both Alpha main characters had their own businesses, were older & established, were eager to assist the younger MC/Omega. In the other book (Runaway by Alex Roberts) the "Alpha" male rescued the Runaway right after an altercation.
In this story the young Omega fled his hometown escaping an abusive man, whom he'd erroneously believed would be his forever Alpha, despite having loving parents he felt he had to leave town. He was bound and determined to get away from a man who not only beat him up, but Blacklisted the Omega as well. This was a new Omegaverse concept: Making it possible for Alphas to retaliate against Omegas based solely on the word of an Alpha. Making sure if you didn't want an Omega or found something you didn't like about an Omega, then the Alpha could ruin the Omegas chances of getting a job, loan, apartment, etc.
So while David tried to start over in a new town - he wasn't able to secure employment due to the unofficial Omega Blacklist. He had to survive by dumpster diving. He was officially homeless. He was lucky enough to meet some kind people that he shared his food bounty whenever he found more than he could eat. They looked out for each other.
Dave kept being drawn to the alley behind the dinner. It turned out to be owned by a former West Virginian, Jace. They each felt a strong mutual attraction. But a job was what Dai needed and he sought one out. Luckily Jace didn't put any stock in the Omega Blacklist. He and David begin a sweet romance, built a strong relationship, but the past would not stay buried.
Forced - the law challenges their being together. Is love enough to thwart those forces? To overcome legal challenges? This is an entertaining first book to the Sugar Beach series. For lovers of Mpreg romances - this is a must. I plan to read it again.

Hillbilly Diner's Omega sucked me in immediately and keep me hooked until the last word. This is my first time reading anything by Corie Rosling, and I loved it!
An Omega on the run, and an Alpha diner owner who instantly tries to take care of him. Their story is a super sweet insta love. It's a short and fast story.
I instantly felt for Dai, and wanted to protect him myself, and how could anyone not fall for Jace? He's so darn caring and a natural protector. Love him! His desire and determination to help Dai is as sweet as can be!
The author does a great job with the writing style, plot, and character development. For a fast book, it contained a lot. There are homeless people, dumpster diving for food, angst with an ex, and so much more. Along with the sad stuff, there's also humor and some great friends and family. I was definitely transported into this world, along with the characters, and I enjoyed every moment of it.
I love the overall feel of Hillbilly Diner's Omega, and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, sweet, emotional romance. I am excited for the next story in the series by Corie Rosling.

The story was ok, I just wish it had more romance, it was too insta-lovey. I am intrigued by some of the people in the homeless camp and their stories.
I also think this needed another edit. Some passages felt over explained? Like things were basically repeated in different ways.

i loved this.. it made me laugh. it made me happy.. it was fun and interesting and it had little angst and some insta love and an amazingly strong omega who needs an equally strong alpha who can handle him. it was sweet and sexy

This is the first book in The Sugar Beach Series. A sweet book the writing was good but there were some grammar issues. This book is an insta connection and everything was very quick. I personally don’t mind insta love or lust stories, but this was too quick for me with how everything happened. But if you overlook the grammar problems and how quickly things developed. I really enjoyed the story itself. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters wonderful. The characters were developed and thought out. Dai is an Omega and Jace is an Alpha and they are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, a diner, dumpster diving, homeless people, baked goods, friends and family, an emergency, babies and so much more in this book. I do think that this book is worth a read and even with problems I recommend this book as a sweet read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Enjoyable story
Dai is running from a former alpha and trying to make his life elsewhere. Jace is the owner of the diner that Dai returns to to get food. Their story has bumps and surprises along the way but it is a beautiful story. Can’t wait for the next one.

Narration: Richard Sack narrated this. It was a first for me with him, and I wasn’t a fan. His voice is older sounding, so the Dai parts just didn’t work for me. It was okay for Jace since he was older, but that’s it…just okay. I felt he read too slow in most parts and it was a bit stuttered. In parts, it was a struggle for me to get through the whole thing. But I thought the story was cute, so I kept at it.

Story: This is an insta-love non-shifter mpreg story. It’s a short cute read that had me saying aww a couple of times. Hillbilly Diner’s Omega was also my first Corie Rosling book, and if she has a new narrator, it won’t be my last listen. Otherwise, I’ll have to stick to their written books.
This is an Alpha/omega world built well in the short amount of time the author had here. I found myself pushing for Dia to have his HEA within a few minutes of starting the book. He’s a sweetheart who tried to take care of everyone he could.
Jace is a proud hillbilly that made me smile. He may be older, but it wasn’t because he was out doing every omega he could, but that he just hadn’t found the right one for him yet. I liked that since we see too many man-whore-to-perfect-mate stories out there nowadays.
I liked how there was no angst between the MCs, just the back story and the ass that Dai was with before. I was a little off about Dai’s parents and why they weren’t there for him, but it was just a niggle, nothing major.

5* - very very good and rare (it would be a Blow-
Away-book like 'Liberty' from Seth King,
'Save the at he kids' series from EM Leya or
'Jesse's Smile' or ‚Joey’ from Angelique Jurd),
it's like an A+
4* - very good and will be often reread and is a
WOW-book with interesting plot and surprises
(like most of Andrew Grey books) it's like an A
3,5* - a really good book, which will be reread a few
times a year (most romances where you can
enjoy for relaxing and during waiting times in
hospitals). I can recommend them definitively!
It's like an B+
3* - it could be more then a one-time-reader,
maybe 2-3 times a year. It’s like a B
2* - it was ok to read, but it's more a one-time-
reader (i wouldn't recommend it heartily, but
it was ok). It's like a C-, D
1* - sorry, but that isn't really a book for me (too
many mistakes, not nice plot, illogical, so an
absolut NO-GO). It's like failure in the whole
line, dismissed, repeat the class

Interesting premise but didn’t totally deliver
I found the plot interesting but also confusing in places. For example, this is supposed to be a world where omegas have a good amount of freedom and rights but an alpha could claim and essentially kidnap an omega from their new partner just because the alpha had been with the omega for a year? Even if the omega was happy in their new relationship? That makes no sense to me within the story and seemed more like an extra piece of drama that didn’t have much of a purpose. I also had a hard time buying the insta-love. Dai is an omega who for a year made his old alpha wear a condom but pretty much the first time he ever even meets jace he’s like “eh whatever”. I love me some mates but this one just wasn’t believable.

Do you believe in love at first sight? Oh yes we do!
What a wonderful world Corie has created! It is vibrant, full of life and intriguing characters. And yes, there is love at first sight. There is also an abusive ex, a contested will, and closure. Ooh, and babies! I fell in love with Dai and Jace. The food at the Hillbilly Diner had my mouth watering. The powerful alpha/ omega dynamic is just right. From the Omega Register, to the illicit blacklist, to overwhelming kindness & generosity, to a love as intense as it is inevitable, this book has it all! You are gonna love this book! I can't wait to read the next one.

Short and Sweet
This was a little cheesy in a good way. Insta-love and to the point. Both Jace and Dai were sweet.
I liked that Jace was protective, compassionate and understanding. I think he was really good for Dai and just what he needed to feel safe and secure. Dai on the other hand was a bit on the plain side for me, but still a nice guy and good for Jace.
The narration was a bit choppy for my liking and I had to keep changing the speed just to make it flow better. I did like that he changed his voice some for the two characters. He spoke clearly and it was easy to understand, but it didn’t flow smoothly.

2.5 stars. I didn't like the narrator at all. He also sounded way older then the MC's. His narration was not smooth either, there were odd pauses and he stutters in places. If he is the narrator of future books, I will not be listening to them. Jace is from West Virginia and states numerous times that he is a hillbilly, you wouldn't know it from the narrator. The story was okay, but seemed disjointed at times. I would have liked a little more of the angst, the meeting with the ex & complications with the birth was mentioned & then just moved on. I will be reading the next book in the series at some point.

September 13, 2021DNF 27%. This is creepy… not cute. Jace basically lured Dai with food and a made-up job after seeing him dumpster diving in security footage. Dai is vulnerable and Jace totally takes advantage. He surprises Dai with a kiss (maybe more? I quit reading at the kiss) the same day that Dai becomes dependent on him for his income and a roof over his head, which is justified because Jace just knows that they belong together. No conversation, nothing… well except the “you could get pregnant” to get to off the blacklist suggestion. You know, because adding a kid to being homeless makes life so much easier and the guy you just met will definitely share the responsibility.

Jace is a great hero. He sees Dai and sets out to make sure that he's taken care of. Dai is on the run from his abusive ex and is homeless. After accepting a job working in Jace's dinner, things quickly jump to permanent between them. There is a bit of trouble caused by the ex but all is set to right. I liked that Dai was Jace's main concern during the delivery of their babies and he was still willing to give Dai the family he wanted despite complications.
