Zadda & Neffi were destined to become a couple, regardless of how long it took. 1st read by this author. Enjoyed reading the Jamaican dialect. Good read
Wow!! This was an awesome read. The characters came to life for me. I found myself reading this book with an accent. Zadda and Neffi were destined to be together. Even with all the ups and downs this book was terrific. Great read Tina Marie.
Now this was a dope I've story. Love sure makes you do some crazy things even when it's dangerous Neffi sure went against all for her love for Zadda. Nothing beats that boss loving.
Great love story so happy it didn't drag on like most love story. Wouldn't mind hearing from them again though cause I love Neffi and Zadda relationships.
This book shows me how a woman could be where she use to getting her way but meet that one man & he ain't going for it. Here we have Vijan know as Zadda who has always been by his self. He is not use to loving any one or caring about anyone feelings. He has dealt with a lot growing up where it turned his heart cold. Until he meets Neffi & she somehow gets into his heart & his mind. Now he don't know how to handle all of what he is feeling. He becomes jealous or outraged when another man talk or thinks anything about her. He also feels as if he is no good for her. She shows him that she will not go away & that they can work through anything. He finally gives in after a tragedy takes someone so special to both of them. Then they finally find out the truth about who was really out to get them. He finally makes good on being with her &/loving his little family he has. Even though you may have never experienced these feeling or things it's good to so you will know. Sometimes it's just a short time or it can be a long term relationship. Everybody deserves to be loved & happy.
I really enjoyed this book. It had a ton of potential. I really liked the characters, they were interesting but could've been developed just a bit more. The timelines were also a lil sketchy here and there. When did Neffi and Winston become so close that she would call him in such a situation? When did he prove his loyalty to her? Also it would have made for an interesting back story if we were told how or why Winston became Xo's enemy and why he was plotting. The same for Shakera and Zadda. Glad it ended well, but I feel like I missed out on some really great action in how it all got to the point where Zadda could live peacefully. Did Janessa and Crass stay together? What about Ari.? Overall great story.
I don’t think I have ever read a book that had a man so not wanting to be in love but actually can’t help but be in love! Zadda went thru a lot at a young age and never could tell anyone how he really felt! I see why he was stand offish the entire time! But baby when he found out what love was he didn’t play about his woman at all! He didn’t care who it was! And Winston was just wrong! Working on the wrong side the entire time and thought that zadda wasn’t gonna come for what is his rite! Glad zadda finally was open with everything and willing to give love a try! I mean if it’s there then don’t be scared to give it a try!
This is my first read by this author, but not my last. Really enjoyed this book from beginning to the very end and what a ending. So loved the way this novella ended. So hated to see the end of Neff and Zadda loved them together. Zadda was so mysterious and a killa, but under that stone cold exterior was a man needing love. You had no choice but to fall in love with him and I loved how he treated Neff and Kaj. Even as crazy as Zadda was Neff never gave up and him and their love. Hated that Xo took a loss and it costed him in the end. the only thing I didn't like about this book was it was NOVELLA, cause I wanted so much more. Job well done Tina Marie.
That word is so complicated at times and so simple. The love Zada and Neffi have is very difficult because of the lifestyle they live. I'm just glad that Zada got to experience what his boy Xo experienced and that's unconditional love and family. It was sad what happened to Xo, but a lot of good will come out of this experience as well. Love does conquers all in my book. Very happy that Neffi got her protector and two blessings with loving family and Zada with a lot of struggling received love. Great Read! ReneeG 👍
Every single time i think i can't love a dude that Tina Marie create, here she comes with another one. Zadda is my baby daddy!!! This book felt different from other books by Tina. The family dynamic was there but Zadda and Neffi was in their own little bubble and i loved it. Zadda is such a dark soul but i just love him. I love his tone, his protecive nature. How he just don't give a damn about anything except what he said. And he stands on it. I want more of him lol
This was easily one of my favorites out of the Boss series! I almost couldn’t even call Zadda bae! Why? Because he went about things the wrong way even though it wasn’t his fault for real! The people closest to you will do you the worse. He really was bat ish crazy! He up there with Ricky & Mischief lol! Nefi was doing to much at times! She needed to stop and think! This book was outstanding and had my feelings all messed up.
Wow...Zadda was truly something else. Neffi was also a strong female because it took someone like her to break that tough exterior. True, genuine love is something that can change anyone it seems. I also loved the way Zadda was always there to protect Neffi no matter what. Hated what happened to Xo but at least they were able to find the snakes among them. Overall this was a good short story and I think you wont be disappointed with one clicking it.
The storyline tun up! Translation.....the storyline is lit....lol Had fun reading it! Winston just full a bad mind , glad Zadda clipped him. He wanted to be the Don. Neffi nuh easy still! As a Jamaican, I can say the patois writing wasn't bad and from reading it revealed that the author did some serious research! I am not from a ghetto and not all Jamaicans are evil! Jamaica, land we love! One love Tina!
This was a great read. I knew Winston was on some shady stuff but not like he was. I hate Xo had to lose his life. Zadda was a real boss with no feelings or conscience until he met Neffi. Neffi taught him how to love and what it feels like to be loved. I'm pretty sure he got rid of Shakera when he found out she was in cahoots with Winston and it wasn't his baby.💟💟
I couldn’t really connect with the FMC in this book—she lacked backbone, and her character just didn’t resonate with me. I was hoping for more growth, especially in her relationship with Zadda. Instead, it felt like Neffi jumped from one relationship straight into another without taking time to heal or show any real accountability for her actions. There was definitely potential here, but the character development fell flat for me. Not sure about this one.
Baby this was far from a disappointment !! Yes bitter sweet I'm in my feelings about XO!!! Zadda proved to be that man boss they say it's one for everyone but a man will change for the right one yes yes Winston do unto others being you know what will be done to you!! Round of applause
This was different. I love how the dialect was used in this story giving it an authentic feel. I’ve never really read too many stories about Jamaicans but I loved this one. Even though it had some sad parts it made me appreciate the happy ending. Great job with these novellas!
Need I say more you wrote the he'll out of this STORYLINE....AWESOMENESS i was smiling and cheering for this couple ...I think it need some more a miracle of XO coming back from the dead ....The growth of the characters was received in this fast paced drama ...OUT FREAKING STANDING
Zadda will have you scared and in love at the same time. Neffi definitely had her hands full with this one. Winston was a creep and Neffi put her trust in the wrong one. I felt bad for Xo he was a good person and him and Ari was perfect for each other. Shakera and Dre should've been together. They both lost
I mad about what happened to Xo he was such a sweetheart. Zadda had to grow on me I didn't like the way he treated Neffi. I understand his reasoning but I didn't like how they couldn't tell their family. Winston was a snack along it's a shame to be that jealous of someone.
Umm This Was A Real Page Turner!!! Xo was the real MVP and I wanted Zadda with him..... At the end and what happen to Xo had me ready to tear up!! Ughhhhh get read Tina Marie!!!
This book was a little different. It was a little longer but still kept my attention. Neffi got on my last nerve with her spoiled antics. As scary as Zadda was he still had my complete attention. I knew his friend was shady. Another good read.
This is a great one. This book had me from the beginning and held me the entire time. Zadda is a bad man! I loved the dynamics of the relationships with everyone. N’effondre was a spoiled lil thing but I loved her fiesty attitude. Such a good read.
Loved it.. Zadda was so afraid to open up because of what he went through as child. Sad what his mother mad him do. He tried his hardest not to fall for Neffi but it was just a attraction he couldn’t shake. It was good from beginning to the end.
This was my first read from this author but it definitely won’t be last.. This novella was super good. I tried my best to read slow because I really didn’t want the story to end... Definitely enjoyed this one
Ok I need a full standalone at least on them! I love Zadda character he was unapologetically himself! You even managed to turn a thot good lol, cause I was worried Ari was going to beat Nesse!
This book was hot, i couldn’t put it down. I was mad when my phone died, so i had to wait to get home to finish reading it. I was sad when xo died, Winston was a b&&?! And he deserved everything he got cause he was jealous from the beginning... zadda and no deserve a part two... great job....
Great read... Ugh why did XO had to die 😫😫 man he was bae. However I'm glad that zadda finally got over his issues and was able to have his family. They got they got their happy ever after
