The moment I laid my eyes upon "Seductive Affair" by Rishabh Puri I made up my mind to read it. I was so into it that I have finished this book in just 2 days.

The story is basically about forbidden love of Parish and Rajesh. Parish had a bad breakup. She was in a new job where she met a fellow journalist Rajesh. Rajesh was an overly attractive handsome hunk, with whom Parish was deeply attracted. They both went to trip for work together where all the inevitable things happened.

This book has a really goofy and young adult book kinda vibes. Being a young adult I possibly read every love story, so how can I not read this one. And it had not disappointed me

This book has everything to make a love story legendary. Past tragedy, Romance, a little bit of girl being badass, a crazily handsome hero and a cherry on the cake, a fairytale ending.

I recommend this book to every teenager and young adult searching for love stories to read, the older readers won't like it as much as the millennials but all and all its a good love story.

(I got the book as a part of the review program by the author.)

What I expected when I read the title and the blurb and saw the cover: An out and out thriller with a touch of seduction and dark romance and a surreptitious affair.
What I got: A light and breezy read with mostly forbidden romance as the highlight.

The blurb: The blurb does not do justice to the book.
The desperation and urgency and the thrill in the blurb does not translate to the pages of the book. Prisha (if I were writing the blurb) is a girl-next door who 'thinks' she is ambitious and career driven, but is more romantic than pragmatic in her approach to life. (How else would explain her risking her first 'dream job' for a supposed investigative story and/or for a fiery romance that sets her loins on fire every time she thinks of it.)

The story that Rajesh is trying to hide from the editor, Priya, is far from investigative. In fact, the entire plot of the book is based around this supposedly front-page shattering story, except there is nothing woah-I-did-not-see-that-coming about it. Also, there is no good explanation offered as to why the protagonist had to hide this story from the editor. None whatsoever. The blurb, again, over-hypes this part as well.

Lastly, the blurb and the title makes reference to a 'seductive affair' that is absent in the entire book. The story is of a typical boy-meets-girl-and-instantly-falls-in-love one. Nothing 'seductive' about it. I can't say for sure whether it qualifies as an 'affair' either, which is often more scandalous.

The story: As I have mentioned before, the book is mostly a romance with a dash of suspense; just a little, almost negligible.

The language: The language is simple, flowy and easy to understand. There is no unnecessary use of jargon, but the author has also not managed to paint a picture with his words. The intimate description failed to incite even a pitiful tingle. Like I said, it is simple.

The characters: The characters are sketched decently, but I failed to form a connection with either of them. I did not find the character of Prisha relatable either. The supporting characters are, well, just mentioned sporadically, and hence it becomes easier for the reader to guess a lot of things in terms of story-line.

There are some things about the book that triggered my OCD and I am hoping the next editions will take care of these:
1. In the blurb, the name of the protagonists is mentioned as Prisha Khatri and Rajesh Lagheri. However, in the book itself, the protagonist introduces herself a Prisha Lagheri. :/
2. The editor informs Rajesh that his co-reporter would be unable to accompany him to Bengaluru. However, Rajesh and Prisha take the flight to Mumbai and the conference actually ends up being there instead. :/

Final views: The book is an ok read. The first 50 pages were quite interesting; there was a lot of build-up that falls flat as you proceed further. There is a love story, there is intimacy, but that is mostly all that there is.

One time read, if at all.

Priya Khatri, a young lady straight out of college, is about to start her new job at a prestigious media house. After having gone through a painful breakup from her fiancee recently, this is all she looks forward to.
Rajesh Lagheri, a veteran reporter in the same media house is fiery and brutal in his own ways.
Both of them travel to a business conference to unveil a big story and that's what also marks the beginning of their love story.
🌟
While the writing is fluid and the narrative is crisp, but there is no solid plot and there is not much of a thriller or suspense to be excited about. Also, the title is misleading as one will be left wondering what "seductive affair" is being referred to.
It is just a normal love at first side story.
All in all, a simple and fast read with so much more potential than what was offered.

The thing that I liked about the book is that the language is simple and nice and it is an easy read,so it will be good for a beginner as the story is short and the pace is good.

It is a regular love story with a dash of thrill. The story is quite predictable and I was hoping to find some surprises. It is a light read nevertheless. The story does not match with the title which is sad. The story had potential but it somehow could not make it up to the mark. If you are in a mood of a not-so-intense read, then go for it. Overall the story was cute.

I would like to thank the author for providing me a copy of this book for the purpose of an honest review.

Seductive Affair is a steamy tale of Prisha and Rajesh who are on their hunt to unravel the mystery running through the veins of the corporates thus rendering their pulsing nerves to find a means to relieve themselves. The outlining of characters have been drawn very well. I am impressed by the strong and impactful characterization of Prisha who kicks off her inhibitions and proves her mettle. Additionally, Rajesh has a whiff of unavoidable charm which emanates from him as he walks around and gets people talking. The author has a strong command over language and his flair for writing knits an intriguing narrative. The narration is good along with the development of the plot. But the story turned out to be a disappointment for me. There is no fresh content. Rather the same old corporate culture has been brought alive in the book. There are a few more potholes in the novel which I would like to list down.

1) The book is in no sync with the title that adorns it. I could not get a bit of understanding till the end whether why the book has been named 'Seductive Affair.'
2) Moreover, A better cover would have extended a better outlook of any reader towards the book.
3) While the author made painstaking efforts in drawing the hot chemistry between Prisha and Rajesh in the privacy of their rooms, I felt as if the soft porn is being served. That kind of made me look at this book with utter distaste.
4) The romance genre is roasted with such deep finesse that the narrative echoes the lust, the moans, and pleasures.

The book could turn out to be a one time read for the casual readers. But I would not suggest it to any avid reader!

Prisha was all set for her dream job at the New Delhi Chronicle and was keen to start her very first work assignment. She bags her first project with Rajesh, a prominent journalist where they have to travel together for a business conference and infer the confidential yet illicit collaboration between two top business houses.
During their quest for the story, Prisha finds herself falling for Rajesh and things start turning up for them along with their reporting venture.
The story is usual with the tinge of protagonists’ professionalism. The writing was smooth and plain making it a light read.
But there were few disappointing things which didn’t go well for me.
• The way Rajesh and Prisha as journalists extracted unofficial information was not at all practical and convincing. For instance, no eminent CEO will give out his company’s information simply served on the platter to any offcomer.
• Moreover, there was no hunt, no intensity in the story and nothing to decide by Prisha between the matters of her heart and her head as stated in the blurb.
• The title assures a romantic thriller but what comes out is a straight conventional romantic recount.
It was okay-okay read for me.

Why to read this book
The plot is simple, uncomplicated and easy-going. Though it doesn’t offer any thrill, the book may not disappoint you, if you love reading romantic genre.

Seductive affair is a story of Prisha who choose her career over Love. What happens next when she steps into the corporate world? What will happen when she’ll meet Rajesh?

The story starts with Prisha going her new job as a journalist. One can connect to the story well. The plot of the story is simple with some twists. The narration of the story is easy and going. The pace, as well as the flow of the story, is smooth. I loved the way the story started, how it was developing. The characters in the story were good. I loved Priya’s Character the most. Also the way Rajesh carried the Investigation. But there was something missing in the story. The author tried the best, but then there were places where the puzzle was missing. I wish the author could have shared more details about the characters. There are various themes like Love, Relationship, hate which one will witness in the story.

This story is interesting, with crisp narration and simple language. Also, I liked the title and the cover of the book. Overall, It’s a quick and good read.

Disclaimer: I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. This in no way influenced my review/opinion of the book.

First up, this is not my usual kind of read but I was intrigued when I read the premise and I have to say I flew through this book - read it in one sitting and really enjoyed it. This is probably the first time in a really long time that I've started a book the evening I received it AND definitely the first time that I also finished it the same day no matter that it made me stay up till 2 AM. I could not stop reading it.
Secondly, don't judge the book by the cover - I feel like the story inside is fun and fluffy and at times, serious and addresses some real issues, but it's not as dark as the cover might suggest.

While it's not a literary masterpiece, it was a fun, light, compelling and quick read, fast-paced with a lot of ups and downs, slightly predictable, but also very entertaining, like a guilty pleasure read.
There were a couple things that bothered me about the characters and the writing (especially some typos and errors that need proofreading and better editing) but all in all, it delivered more than I was expecting when I went into it.
I thought it would be another cheesy Bollywood type story about the arrogant, overconfident bad boy hero and the naive, shy girl-next-door type heroine and it was - but it was also more. There were some clichéd scenes/incidents but it was nice to see when the author addressed that within the story itself (through the narrator).

If you're looking for a light, fun contemporary read to pass the time maybe while travelling somewhere or on a rainy day when you have nothing else to read or maybe even if you're in a reading slump, you might want to try this one.

After reading some serious books back to back, I decided to pick a different book. The first thing which attracted me towards this book is the book cover and the title. The combination of both can impress anyone. After reading the blurb, I thought that this is going to be a strong female-oriented book. Is the book matched with my expectation or not? Do read further.

Plot summary:

Prisha is a modern-day girl, who wants to stand on her own feet, want to have a career and a dream job.

Read more such reviews at https://www.haloofbooks.com/

The book starts with Prisha, who is going to attend her first day in her office. This is her dream job and she is nervous yet excited. Then the story turned to back, where Prisha was in love with Akshay, a successful and handsome man.

Their relationship went to marriage but then something happens which shattered everything in the life of Prisha. So now Prisha just wanted to focus her attention on job.

On the first day in her office, she noticed Rajesh, a charming and mysterious man. She instantly found herself attracted towards him; however, his dry response brought her back into the present.

After some day, her boss assigned her an outdoor task where she has to attend a press conference with Rajesh. After reaching to Mumbai, Prisha got to know that there is something else is running behind Rajesh’s mind about this press conference and she decides to keep an eye on him.

While doing journalistic adventures, both find love for each other. But their company has a no office romance clause.

In between all these, Prisha lands in a situation where she can get fired from the job.

What will Prisha choose? Read this book to find out.

Writing style:

The author has maintained an easy language throughout the book. The narration is good but it can be much better.

My perception:

At the first sight, this book presents a mysterious charm but there is nothing like that. I had high hopes from the book but it is just a sensual tell of two lovers. The author tried to build a story around a press conference and secret news but it failed to impress me. Rajesh seemed to be a charming character but there is an absence of his character development. Initially, I started attaching Prisha’s character but in between, it gets lost.

Overall, if you are in a mood of reading something relaxing then you should pick this book.

The book begins with Prisha starting her first day of work at The Chronicle. She does her best to keep herself distracted from dwelling over her recent breakup but that’s easier said than done with the handsome Rajesh giving her the cold shoulder and bringing out all of her insecurities. Things take a turn for the worse when her editor pairs the two of them to cover an out of town conference and she has to figure out a way to survive two weeks with someone who can’t stand the sight of her.

Only after reaching the venue does Prisha discover that Rajesh has a hidden agenda for wanting to cover the conference. Why he had to hide it from everyone, including the editor who claims to be open to supporting him in his hunt for such news is beyond me. Prisha and Rajesh having to share a bed when the room was so spacious and was sure to have couches was also not believable. The reason for Rajesh being rude to Prisha since their first meeting was also left unexplained. A vague reference to him wanting to protect himself was made but how he knew that Prisha was one of the people that he wanted to protect himself from without even talking to her was not told. I was also a bit confused in the beginning since they claimed that the conference was in Bengaluru but Rajesh says to Prisha on the plane, “[…]It’s been a long time since I went to Mumbai”.

The book was fast-paced. The part of the pair of them interrogating various people to get their story was fun to read. Although the whirlwind romance was a little hard to believe and the graphic content seemed not entirely necessary for the progression of the story, the development of their relationship was sweet. I was glad that Prisha was not just a doe-eyed girl who was ready to go ahead with anything that Rajesh suggested.

I haven't read Risabh Puri's bestselling novel 'Inside the Heart of Hope' but this one didn't impress me much. It's solely based upon an illicit affair and how it has been performed sexually. The title says much that it is going to be somewhat steamy and romantic but the way the author wanted to present it as a romantic thriller, it failed in that mission according to me. The thrilling part is mostly happening inside Prisha, the narrator's mind and body rather than the actual setting. 📚
Prisha and Rajesh, two journalists went to cover a business conference and to discover an underlying interest of the companies in the name of this event. Even though they take proper measurement of the situations and deal with it, but mostly they are somewhat interested in each other secretly, seductively. There are elaborate passages of sexual encounters rather than the story to build upon a strong foothold. The thrill in the story should have been more explored! There is an effort to close the case in a soluble solution, by using an ex, that's pretty much common. And once that's settled in a hurry, the focus is again on their physical relationship.
It's a very light read, not a romantic thriller with full of suspense, but it does the job pretty okay. There's no clash, no complications, just a little venture of two journalists to discover a story, but rather we get to hear more about Prisha and Rajesh's story of love making. 📖
Though I liked the language, pretty simple and easy going. You can add it to your honeymoon reading list. Less complications, more steamy elaborations....

Prisha a fresh college graduate secure her dream job at a prestigious media house. While she warms up to the place ,the only tiny thing that bothers her mind is the cold shoulder she receives from Rajesh, a prominent Journalist of the house.Trouble brews up when she is assigned to work with him on a project away from home.

The author has a way with words.Written in a crisp manner, up to the point it keeps the reader glued to the book. The flow is good. Central characters are beautifully etched defined by their distinct characteristics. The pace is fast. One can easily finish the book in few hours.

The story gives us a peek into the working of corporate world, what really goes behind the business conferences. One can get a little taste of real journalism and the dangers involved in it.

It was a quite a predictable story. The climax can be guessed easily. The fine bedroom details of the affair could have been avoided. It dampens the whole spirit, the story conjures up till that point.Few characters appeared in parts and pieces and made a fleeting exit. There were some glaring mistakes which are hard to ignore. The title and the book cover does not relate to the narration. What started as a good story crumbled at the end.

The story follows the lives of Prisha, who is a career oriented girl and is just recovering from a heartbreak and Rajesh, who is among the top journalists of the world. Rajesh always stayed away from Prisha but a Business Conference Trip to Mumbai brought them together. What follows next is their love affair and revelation of a secret because of which Rajesh was attending the conference. Will Prisha be able to stop him or will be a part of his secret?

To be honest, I expected the book to be full of suspense ( what the cover offered ) but the suspense element was almost negligible. Also Prisha is a confused soul- on one side she is very much focused on her career and wouldn't leave her job for her to-be husband but later she is ready to sacrifice her job for her love.

Talking about the language, it was simple and easy. It is a fast and short read. This book is preferably for beginners who loves to read a light and breezy story. Overall it was a Okayish read for me.

Book Review : Seductive Affair by Rishabh Puri
#bookreview :
Prisha is an ambitious graduate trying to try her luck as a new assistant reporter in a prestigious media house The Chronicle. Then there was this already established notorious/famous reporter Rajesh Lagheri. He is obnoxious the way he got introduced in the story (which would have been good if he did not change into a hopeless Romeo midway). Prisha is introduced as someone heartbroken (her engagement with her successful fiance Akshay broke) as a character who could have been a little way too determined. Then they got sent together to cover a conference. That was the first time they got together and had nothing to do with each other before that. Rajesh was planning to get hold of a secret deal between two big companies which fortunately or unfortunately Prisha came to be a part of. Obviously. They hooked up and there was absolutely no affair going on as both of them were single when they met. And no seduction going on anywhere in the story. The title is a bit misleading. The story went downhill right from the later mid part. Every sentence seems copy pasted from the many novels available everywhere. Even the love scenes and every situation they get into is like a song heard many times over that everyone comes to hate.
Actually Rajesh is portrayed as a womaniser who does not last long in a relationship and the way he behaved when confronting his ex like he had achieved something breaking someone's heart is not acceptable.
And what happened to both the strong personalities of both the main characters with which they got introduced as?
And the big secret that they were working on was not much of a plot.
The way their boss making an exception of strict company rules just for them for being in love from just being together in a trip is well... pathetic.
Both the ex lovers of both the characters are treated with no respect even when these people were way out of their lives. And have been brought together just for the sake of some kind of cheap revenge. The ex girlfriend bruised. The ex fiance proved as a complete fool.

Seductive affair

Cover looks beautiful. It has been designed skeptically, keeping in mind specifically the readers who prefer to read a dark romance thriller book.

Title is interesting & has been selected in a beautiful manner. However, it's totally misleading & doesn't go in accordance to the plot, theme or the story in hand.
The question that arised in my mind after reading the book is, "Where is the affair? Where is the seduction?"

As it turns out to be, this is another typical sophisticated sophomore bollywood clichéd romantic novels which is nothing more than a mere mock-buster parody of any random bollywood or tollywood television series we may come across in our daily acrostic lives.

Theme is normal, nothing more can be expected from it. The book talks about religion, love, pain, separation, trust, bond, joy, happiness, family, relationships, life, sadness. However, it turned out to be another overhyped book in the end.

Now coming to the main point. I won't talk about story or plot or anything like that. What I would like to discuss is whether this book is worth picking up & investing your time or not? Now let me begin with the step-by-step analysis of the book.

Plot is nothing new. Same old clichéd overdramatic one.
The lackadaisical approach & unnecessary overdragging of issues. Monotonous way of storytelling. Narration was draggy. There is no suspense or whatsoever which may give an encouragement to the readers to finish the book. Overall, the book was totally predictable. There's an imbalance in the storyline!

Now coming to language, it's way too simple & easy to understand. The book has a lot of minor errors & unwanted mistakes across various sections from time to time. It seems the book was just published deliberately without keeping in the mind that editing is a crucial aspect when it comes to writing. What makes the matters worse are the typesetting errors which we can encounter often hitherto in the book. Even the grammatical errors aren't worth ignoring, added with the nonchalant pace of the plot makes things ever more worse. Basically, a thorough editing & proofreading could have done the trick!

Lacks good dialogues, quotes & the requisite punch needed to make it worthy enough to read. Even the synchronisation & sequential analysis was amiss. At first impression, it may look exciting or tempting, but it turns out to be a disaster, discouraging, disappointing or just a mere rip-off of some popular shows. At times, I just regret my decision to pick up this book & invest my time on it!

Nevertheless, there's nothing new about this book. A typical bollywood parody just enhanced with a set of poor twists & turns to prolong the story of the book.
Not worth recommending to anyone.

***I received a copy of the book as a part of the author's review program. Here is my honest, and unbiased review.***

From cool iciness to sexual innuendos …

Synopsis:
The prologue draws you in to the trials of a young middle-class Delhi girl who has just finished university and is looking forward to leading an independent life. A few months into her break-up, and employed by the New Delhi Chronicle, Prisha is a journalist in the making. And attracted to her sinfully handsome colleague is not helping matters.

That colleague is none other than Rajesh, a seasoned reporter, who looks at the newly joined Prisha with disdain. When they are thrust together on an assignment by their editor, it irks Rajesh. Why? What does he have to hide? It is, after all, a mere business conference they have to cover. Moreover, as working closely gives rise to intense desire; does the façade of cool indifference shatter?

Review:
I am a sucker for romances, especially office romances. And I believe it can't get better than this!

Written in the first-person narrative from the point of view of the female protagonist, I can't even begin to describe how connected I felt to Prisha on so many levels.
I was doing what dozens and dozens of my friends were doing, hoping for the best and planning for the worst.

This is Prisha's story as she takes us on a journey through her life, hopes, heartbreak, and challenges. The pacing is good, and with a promising start, the story flows without being overdone. Set in New Delhi, the major action happens in Mumbai, while the story culminates in Delhi only.

I loved smart alec Rajesh's cheekiness and was impressed by Prisha's journey of self-discovery. The way they found each other was a pleasure to read. Rajesh and Prisha complement each other. Prisha's dilemma, between crushing on Rajesh and learning the ropes of the business from him, was highly amusing. There is sizzling chemistry between them. While Rajesh may be a star-reporter from a modest background, not only girls go starry-eyed over him, but men too are susceptible to his charms. But, their characters could have been developed more, with a little bit of background information. We don't know whether either of the protagonists has any siblings, or whether they were an only child, not that it matters.

On reaching Mumbai, Rajesh is a man on an entirely different mission. The story gets spicier when both of them meet someone from their pasts. What happens when all these people are under the same roof? Further, a secret investigation notches up the excitement level.

This is the first book I have read by this author, while it is his third publication. I believe he has nailed the behind-the-scenes working of an investigative journalist through this book. Also, the intimate scenes have been written with finesse. But instead of a seductive affair, the story can be likened more to a whirlwind romance.

P.S. The ending was perfect. But there were some loose ends which should have been tied up. The timeline gets a bit fuzzy during the business conference; as out of two weeks, when I counted the nights, I could only place the story happening within a few days. Then again, earlier in the story it's mentioned the conference will take place in Bengaluru, but then the base shifted to Mumbai? And I couldn't find Rajesh's whole name being mentioned anywhere in the book, except the blurb. But, the one place where Prisha's full name is mentioned, it is written Prisha Laghari.

A few minor grammatical errors in the text and some inconsistencies in the story aside, it was a great read!

Which books that you have read can be said to contain a seductive affair?

What she doesn’t expect is to be landed on a business trip with a famously fiery reporter Rajesh Lagheri. He’s travelling to a business conference for a story, and doesn’t seem impressed by her involvement. But as soon as they’re out of the office, things change, and it becomes clear that there is more to Rajesh’s trip than meets the eye.
As Prisha is drawn into the story he’s trying to hide from their editor, their hunt for the story grows more intense, and she finds herself growing closer to Rajesh. As their chemistry threatens to overwhelm them and Prisha is pulled deeper into the Seductive Affair, she must decide what matters most to her – matters of the head, or of the heart.

Rishabh Puri portrays us the story beautifully. But somewhere between focusing on the narration, and solely the narrating, I felt that he forgot the need of having an authentic and good story entirely. The writing style is crisp and to the point and there are characters painted in different shades, who however are rather mainstream and cliched. The supporting characters should have been given more light.

The last of the pages seem like they have just been written for the sake of it.
However, it's not a book that you'll hate. Rishabh Puri having the experience of 2 books already, still does an almost average job and makes it bearable. If you’re looking for a read where you don’t want to commit to getting attached to the characters and need a light read, this is the book for you.

Okay! So here it is, the story didn’t made any connection with me. May be first few pages did, but then the plot took a whole new thing, and poof it was gone.

Definitely a quick read, language is simple, easy to understand. No big words used to explain things. Plain and simple. But that’s it, that’s the good thing about this one :-/

Sadly, nothing from the Cover-Title, to the blurb, to the Story, has any connection.
Cover-Title is inclined towards some dark romance, an affair which will somehow be erotica or at least “Seductive”. Well na, na ! Nothing of that sort, the girl fell in love with a man, and he soon reciprocated it. Followed by “sex” (off course), where every time they used a “condom”. Protection in romance is very necessary. Right Eh?
Let’s come to Blurb, it sounds like a Thriller Romantic which we are going to read. But umm.. na na !! Thriller is so minimal that it ends as soon as you think of any Affair happening, which then ends with a “twist” of bringing in the EX. (new eh?) 😐
The novel ends with an “ALWAYS”, my heart screamed out loud. Being an HP fan, well the reference should be made in Apt conditions, and this one has been just (another eh!!) :3
Story, had so many flaws, or I should say there were so many weird instances that being a Virgo(sun sign) and a little OCD for details, I rolled my eyes. What is this!

This is a story of girl Prisha, who is career oriented woman and is engaged to a very successful and handsome man. Soon she realise that Akshay( Fiancee) is constantly telling her to drop her dreams and be an ideal housewife which eventually results in their breakup. Soon Prisha lands on respected job and in office she meets Rajesh, a charming man, soon ending up having hopeless crush on him.

So I will talk about what works for me in this book, I liked the concept of being strong and career oriented. Second, I liked writing style which was easy without extravagant words in it, it was light read which was much needed for me. There were intimate scenes in this book which were well written as wasn't awkward reading them.
Now, I will talk about what were the things I wish author could have done differently, first is story is very predictable, it seems like I was witnessing a story I have already read or seen about hundred times before, things were oversimplified for me. oversimplified as in I expected more drama in it and premise of story perfectly complements drama, story is about conference but I think better situation could have been pulled of by author. Last and probably most important that there were some major visible blunders.
At the end say it was great effort by author but clearly some more research and work is to be done

Thumbs up-
●This is a simple yet alluring romantic story. Its written in a lucid language for every reader to understand which is the biggest plus point.
●The plot is also interesting and spins slowly unfolding everything gradually.
● The plot mainly sticks to the central characters without adding unnecessary parallel stories.
●The leads are pretty much realistic and the female lead Prisha is also realistic and not some shero.
Thumbs down-
◆The plot had a little been there done that feeling and is pretty predictable sometimes.

Prisha wants to make a name in journalism and when an opportunity of a lifetime lands her a job with a prestigious media house she's ready for it. Add on the fact that it diverts her mind from her breakup.

Working at the agency is like a dream come true, the only down side is Rajesh, one of the best journalist out there but is rude to her for no apparent reason.

She decides to ignore the sinfully gorgeous man and everything was going fine but then she is assigned a new project with him, away from home and it's more difficult than she thought.

Given the nature of the assignment they have to fake a relationship and she can't help herself and is carried away with these feelings but she has some bigger concerns as her job is on the line if this project doesn't come out as it is expected.

A short and sweet story, (though predictable) the premise is good.

Can be devoured in one sitting like I did.

Seductive affair as per by blurb, title and cover itself was supposed to be a romantic thriller or dark romance but it was a plain romance novel with predictable scenes and of course the Ex- factor.
This novel revolves around Prisha Khatri and Rajesh lagheri. They fell in love with each other on a business trip when they were not supposed to. This book was a light read of 173 pages and I finished it in a couple of hours. I didn’t get bored while reading it but it was definitely not that interesting due to its constant plot holes and misguidance to its genre. When they were going on business trip Prisha said that they were going to Bangalore but they landed in Mumbai. Their names are also mismatched in the book.
This is a one-time novel so if you are looking for a light read you can pick this up. Author has used very simple language without using any fancy words. So it is very easy to read.

Found this book really interesting. The story revolves down two main character Prisha and Rajesh. Prisha who is trying to stand on her own feet and started working as a journalist and writer where she found Rajesh who already very famous in that company. The story line is really good and from the beginning it can make the readers engage.
The lucid language and simple storytelling process made the book more attractive.
The best part of the book comes in the end where the main character, Prisha has to choose one thing among his two favourites.
The twists and turns made the book really good.
But honestly I was expecting the ending part much better as I read the author's previous works.
The cover is really eye-catching.

A light read. A book that will fall into the genre of Romance-Thriller. The book is mainly a story of Prisha, who is a career oriented girl but she like all others want love in her life too. She has recently broke up with a guy for her dream job and here on her first assignment she finds love again and again her career is at stake. What is the assignment? How is it going to affect her career and love? This is the basic plot. The language used is very easy so every reader can understand it easily. I liked it.

I dove into this book without any expectations whatsoever and I was satisfied with what I read.

The characters weren't as strong as I had hoped they would be but they were interesting nonetheless. This was such a light and an easy read. It built no pressure on my mind and was super breezy. I knew from the first chapter what kind of a book it would be but I still had fun reading it.

The story is a clìche but I really liked the plot and the build up. The climax failed to impress me. Recommended to anyone looking for a light, fun read to get out of their reading slump.

I am not very happy nor very upset about this book. The story is easy and predictable as well as fast. This is what probably made me complete the book in a few hours.
The characters were a tad bit shallow and some of the scenes were not what I would expect but they made it more unappealing then they should be.
Overall not a book i would recommend if you are looking for some thrilling and erotic romance but a easy going and fun book nevertheless.

Seductive affair by Rishabh Puri was an fine read. Writing style is very easy to understand. Narration was very good, i must say. Author himself described this story as a protogonist (Prisha, main lead girl)that is totally appreciated. Name of this book is quite appropriate. It's a one time read with good narrating work ❤️❤️❤️
