I never thought we'd need a second chance. Boy was I wrong.
We finally took a chance and as a result, we have it all. together, Charli and I can conquer anything life throws our way. or so I thought.

This is the second book from Tara Lee and yet again she doesn’t disappoint. Catching up with Eli and Charli was fantastic. Happy tears were certainly shed. Roll on Jensen’s book. I need more and more!

This is the second book in the Pleasant Grove series and the second part of Eli and Charli's story. Make sure you have a box of tissues at the ready.
This book followed on from the first and I already loved Eli and Charli and couldn’t wait for them to finally have a happy ever after.
For some this story may contain triggers if you have experienced stalking or a loss of a child. Eli and Charli experience so much during their relationship.
Being a mother my heart broke for Eli and Charli with there loss. I may have not lost a child but it still broke my heart.
I loved Jensen the curve ball he was thrown from his parents was heart breaking. I can’t wait to read his story.

Wow! I knew this book was going to be off the charts but I wasn’t expecting it to be such an emotional roller coaster.
This book followed on from the first and I already loved Eli and Charli and couldn’t wait for them to finally have a happy ever after, and then BOOM! My heart was snatched from my chest when they lost their precious baby. Having never had to go through that personally I can’t possibly know how it feels, however I do have kids and I can’t imagine the heart ache of loosing one. This book was so open, real and raw. The unbreakable love Eli and Charli have for each other was beautiful. Trying to rebuild their lives and move on was so real and honest.
Jensen intrigued me too and the curve ball he was thrown from his parents was heart breaking. I can’t wait to read his story,

I read this entire book in a day as it was such a page turner with definite highs and lows. To see Charli and Eli's relationship develop and get stronger through their ups and downs is something that keeps you reading on. I loved getting to know the main characters more in Second Chances, as well as looking forward to future books where I can learn more about Jensen and his past life events.
Tara has included a topic in this book that isn't discussed often, and for that I applaud her. She has written this story in so much detail, with such raw emotion that it really sucks you in and I could feel the sadness that she was describing in this book. On the other hand, the romance and sex scenes were very hot - more so than the first book I think! Not only were they a great way to balance out the sad parts, they also allowed Charli and Eli to reconnect again which I thought was great.

Tara Lee has once again written the most amazing book ever.
Second Chances is book 2 in the Pleasant Grove Series.
Once again we go on a journey with Eli and Charli. Through the heartbreak of loosing their first child Eli is scared that Charli is going to stop loving him but that is not happening. Depression hits in for Charli but with Eli love and support she comes out of it and gives birth to a beautiful baby girl.
Their love for each other is strong enough for them to get through any crap thrown in their path.
An epic love story and I cannot wait for book 3 telling us Jensen story.
Second Chances should have more than a 5 star review in my opinion. I love this series and would recommend it to anyone.

It's the second installment in the Pleasant Grove series. Be sure to start the series at the beginning. Make sure you have a box of tissues at the ready. This story had me experiencing so many emotions. For some this story may contain triggers it you have experienced stalking or a loss of a child. Eli and Charli experience so much during their relationship. They are relatable characters. I only recently discovered Tara Lee's books but I will be sure to watch out for new releases in this series for sure.

Wow.... just wow.... I was so excited to read the second and last installment of Charli and Eli and I was not left wanting.... I cried and then I cried some more... being a mother myself and suffering a miscarraige (nowhere as horrifying as a stillbirth but still a loss), my heart broke for the loving couple... Thankfully after a few more bumps in their road to forever, the finally found happiness... Congratulations to Tara Lee on yet another amazing read.

What a sweet, heartbreaking and beautiful story. This is the second book in the series. Make sure you read how Eli and Charli fell in love before you read Second Chances. Tara Lee wrote the next step in their story with such delicacy as it touches on a difficult life event. I really felt the hard parts. There is an effortless sweetness to Eli in how he loves Charli that I absolutely loved. Really well done!

Ive loved every minute of their journey.
This second book is filled with heartbreak love and laughter, it had me blubbering like a baby but it was amazing.

Wow!
This second instalment of Charli and Eli is amazing! The ups and downs will leave you feeling like you actually were there. Tara has written the books so perfectly. I can not wait too see what’s next for everyone in pleasant grove. Topics covered in this book are crazy intense and had me hooked.

This is a beautifully written tragic story that will have your emotions all over the place. It is a subject that could be hard for some to read because it is a very real issue that can happen to anyone at any time. Have tissues ready when you read this one and be ready to ugly cry.

This is the second book in the pleasant groove series by Tara Lee it is as amazing as the first! This book had love, heartbreak, laughter and amazing characters. It made me cry smile and laugh it made me want to keep reading and never put it down I can’t wait to read the next book in this series

I really enjoyed seeing the next chapter in Eli and Charli's story. I laughed with them and I cried with them. A lot. The emotion poured off the page and filled my heart. I love these characters. The author did a great job conveying the myriad of emotions that these 2 characters should experience in these situations.

This book has been beautifully written in such a way that it will take you on a rollercoaster ride. I was overwhelmed and emotional while reading this book. From funny, sweet to emotional, Tara leaves no stone unturned to make her readers fall in love with her work♡♡♡

Amazing
This one had my heart strings going. I felt for Charlie and Eli the struggles they went through with losing there first baby. Then Charlie having to deal with finding out her brother wasn't her real brother was another hard time. But they got through it and became stronger. Charlie is a very strong women to. Deal with all that and to come out stronger and a mother at the end made me love this book. Tara is a fantastic author and her new books coming are gonna be great

It was great to read more about Charli and Eli. I really enjoyed this couple in their first book.
The sequel falls a bit short for me for a few reasons. It has a great and very sad theme, of following the couple through the loss of a child and how each deals with it. Great overall storyline but I found there to be too many sex scenes, to the point I skimmed read some of them and felt that the Hannah drama wasn’t needed, especially given the secondary storyline of Jensen and Charli.

Hard read for me but good
This book was hard for me but I had to continue reading it is written is such a way you felt the highs and lows and with this story line there were some real low moments. I'm glad Eli and Charli got their HEA they went through so much together. Hard subject to write about and may be a trigger for some, it is sad but also beautiful and they managed to get through it together.
But I would recommend this series it's good and well written for saying this is only the Authors second book. Looking forward to Benson's book.
